If you ever have a chance to join a cooking class here, I highly recommend it. I went to a class tonight and it was great. Talk about good vibes and a common interest of the love of Indian food. Food was delicious and simple recipes to recreate. They really made it feel like we were one big family. Such a great group of people they attracted to join the class tonight. A lot of fun, can't wait for the next one.

My family and I loooooove the food here, and it's always fresh, flavorful, and full of authentic taste. I'm a frequent guest, and the owners know me personally. They are some of the kindest people I've ever met and always show amazing hospitality and customer service. I've been coming to this restaurant for years, and it honestly amazes me that despite how I come every blue moon and how reasonable their prices are, the owners still remember me by name. You can truly tell they care about their customers and put love into both their food and their business. I had the Lamb Sadabahar, and it was absolutely delicious tender, well-seasoned, rich in flavor, and cooked perfectly. Every dish I've tried here has been consistently good. The portions are generous, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the experience always feels like home. If you're looking for authentic Indian food with incredible flavor, great prices, and genuine hospitality, Indian Curry Palace is definitely a place I recommend. 5/5 every time.

We got the butter chicken (3star), shrimp tikka masala (3star), and the garlic naan (2 orders). It was all so delicious! I definitely thought the 3 star would be spicier but it's not spicy at all. Has a minor kick at the end but nothing that'll burn your mouth. I think two dishes is plenty for three people. 5/5 I'd come again!

The menu had a good variety of dishes. After awhile, we agreed on the Buttered Chicken, Vegetable Korma, Fish Biryani & 2 orders of Garlic Naan. Friend also ordered a Mango Lassi & it took him only a few minutes to gulp it all up. So it's safe to say, it was yummy. After 20 mins or so, the dishes all came out together. The food did not disappoint. The Buttered Chicken was my favorite, it was creamy and had a gentle kick (3 stars spice level). The Biryani fish was probably my next favorite. This dish we only asked for 1 star spice level. It was very flavorful, beautiful presentation and a very generous portion. Last but not least, the vegetable Korman was made with cashews and a creamy sauce. This one had the most kick, even though we asked for the same 3 stars spice level. This dish had my tongue tingling for a hot minute. The Naan was also on point! I would recommend this to others who enjoy Indian food and spicy dishes. Only thing I would suggest is, you must be patient, it's not a fast food joint & only had 1 person running it. Overall, 5 stars with the food and service.

Now that I've moved away from Seattle, I still make it out to Spice King in Renton at least once a week. The food is amazing, and with how challenging and chaotic the economy has been lately, the prices are refreshingly affordable. I also love supporting small businesses. As a former chef myself, I know firsthand how much work and preparation goes into putting together a daily lunch menu. This is a wonderful place to eat, and they cater for parties too. The food is always well seasoned. If you're ever in the Seattle area -- including their downtown locations -- this is a spot you can't go wrong stopping by.

Opted for one side of rice and 2 sides of roti, which were included with the entrees. The spice levels were accurately graded and I felt like the level 3 was a true medium heat, and level 4 was medium-hot. Enough to make you sweat a little. While this place does not dethrone my favorite go-to spot, they did a good job and all the flavors were rich, complex, and meats were cooked well. The lamb curry was my favorite of the lot, and I liked the spiced rice more than the plain roti but it was all delicious - no complaints!

We got the samosas and eggplant pakoras to start, and both were great! I really liked the eggplant pakoras. For dinner, we got Aloo Gobhi and Kala Chana Masala with garlic naan. It was good! We ordered mild and probably could have gone with medium because I think the lack of spice had us missing out on flavor. The prices were great! It was refreshing to feel like I could actually afford to go out to eat. The portions were good and we had leftovers. The service was great and very friendly! When we first arrived the TV was a bit loud but it was turned down after a few minutes. We got some sweet treats from the display case on the way out to take home and enjoy. Overall, a nice experience!

It's located…read morein a business industrial area, which makes it a good spot for businesses during the weekdays. We went on a weekend, which was a plus since the area tends to be quite empty on weekends. We ordered the chicken Karahi, goat curry and a pea curry (methi malai). The chicken Karahi was not at all like the ones I've had in other Indian restaurants, which is dry-sauteed, which when ordered in other restaurants, they would specifically say that this is a "dry" dish with no gravy. However, this chicken Karahi had a lot of gravy, which was unexpected. The taste wasn't bad, but it was different from what I was used to. The goat curry was just ok, as expected. and the pea curry had more gravy than usual and the taste was not great but good for naan dipping. Overall, the restaurant didn't satisfy my craving for Indian food. I'll have to find another restaurant that will satisfy my craving. I probably won't be back, but at least I gave it a try.
