He'd have me pass tools and sometimes wipe his sweaty forehead. It was grueling work infused with the smell of oil and testosterone. When we finished, he'd take us for a drive around the block. Reveling in our accomplishment. That was the best part of the experience: Sharing these moments with my dad. He's gone now but those memories live on. That was then, this is now. I came to this parts yard, channeling my dad, reliving those good times. I busted a rim running over a huge chunk of concrete on the freeway. I called this place and Jeff answered the call. He looked up the rim I needed and made accommodations to meet me the next morning. I arrived and found the wrong rim design. But it fit. So I got it anyway. My car is 15 yrs old. I didn't care. But Israel drove around the yard and found the right one so Sami let me use the first one until I could pick up the right one. I gotta tell you, the most pleasant and kind people are the least likely you'd expect. Behind their rough exteriors are kind, helpful and generally good guys. If you need parts, come here. They have a vast collection of junked cars to pick parts off of. The guy at the front desk knows his parts and is fair with prices in my opinion. He even gave me a 24 hour warranty (don't see why you would need more) on the part I purchased. I would advise to take some water cause it gets pretty hot during the day when you're hunting for parts in the middle of the desert. Other than that I'm pretty satisfied with my visit.
