I spoke a guy on the phone it was the worst someone ever spoke to me the dude has no understanding of situations being in business for 20+ years asked him a simple question he said if I don't get my vehicle out he's get the title and lose everything... that's not how you talk to customers. Pricing honestly wasn't bad Storage is affordable To avoid all this call your dmv and check ur registration status learned a valuable lesson. read more

Worst company ever ! the guy there (Skip) he's a joke, cursing and his attitude is unbelievable rude, he hang up on me couple times as my truck was in their possession In summary, my experience with Puleio's Service Center was nothing short of a nightmare. I don't understand why are still in business . Their slow response, unprofessionalism, and outrageous pricing $1600 for 5 mill left me deeply unsatisfied and frustrated. I would strongly advise anyone in need of a tow to look elsewhere for a reputable and reliable company otherwise, you'll get robbed read more

So here's the thing, I can't understand why this place has gotten such a bad rap. Maybe it was someone on a bad day. I was in an accident on Sunday and these folks were the ones who were contracted to pick up cars. The driver took me to the hotel after picking up my car and I was able to talk with someone on Monday and get updated information. Yes, my insurance company handled getting my car out of the yard and to the repair shop but every time I called and asked a question I was given the answer I needed promptly. Linda in the office even helped me out by going and taking pictures of my car for me so I could get a jump on all of the insurance stuff. Thanks for all the help. read more

My father got into an accident on Friday after Thanksgiving due to someone cutting him off. The police called for their contract towing service which was Puleio's. I watched this inexperienced tow truck operator mess around trying to get the pickup onto the flatbed unsuccessfully for 25 minutes . I was waiting till the operator got the truck loaded but needed to get to the hospital because my father was transported to the ER. Initially there was driver side damage as well as steering issues to the truck. come to find out now the passenger side had a window blown out, fender damage and somehow the tonneau cover received damage. When my father called, they said it was like that from the accident and if he didn't like that answer, sue him. What a total joke for a company to do. Absolutely unacceptable read more

Puleio's Service Center - Not damaged on passenger side from accident but destroyed by an incompetent tow tr - Auto Repair Near Me - North Brunswick, New Jersey

They steal your things and damage your property. I made a police report, but the owner is part of it. There's no cameras on in their facility. Worst time of my life. They don't give a crap. read more

Auto accidents are traumatic. Having kind and competent professionals there to help you out in your time of need is key. The folks at Puleio's demonstrated a high level of service, compassion, and caring. The Puleio team transported the wrecked car from the accident scene to their facility, and today gave access in order to retrieve remaining items from the wreckage. Of course, I hope you never experience an automobile accident. But if you do, and you are in mid-NJ, call these folks. Their benevolence / soft hands take a little bit of the edge off of the pain, and calm the nerves a bit. read more

I just have to say, I don't understand how this company is still in business with the customer service it gives out. I had called this place because my car broke down and the guy I had spoken to on the phone, whom I'm assuming is the manager was utterly rude and disrespectful.! He had the audacity to cursed ME out and tell me to "go cry to my mother" and "how my credit card wasn't good enough for him to use." I've never had anyone, let alone someone in charge tell me something like this. I don't understand how people in the service business would give this type of service out to any customers that come along. It really was such horrible experience. If you can avoid calling this unprofessional company, please do!!! read more

Have you ever woken up and thought, "Hey, today's a good day to get scammed." Well, then this is the business for you! They only go to wherever they feel like dropping your car off, and not where you're paying them to bring it to! read more

Terrible. Got my car towed by them off the turnpike. These "geniuses" put the hooks on the control arms of the car and completely bent them. How difficult is it to lean how to tow a car properly. Great idea for State troupers to have a contract with a company that has 1 star rating on yelp. Really inspires confidence. read more

I feel sick knowing that I had to pay 600 dollars for a tow from this company. Horrible customer service, rude and very unprofessional. Avoid this place at all costs!! read more

If I could rate below a 1 star I would. I got towed from NJ Turnpike to parking lot. I was told the tow was $160.00. I researched it and the tow should've been $107.00 due to restrictions put in place to stop dishonest towing companies on the NJ Turnpike. I called the company and got the worse treatment by a company that I ever had. Just one on the rudest and most abusive people I've ever had to deal with! Needless to say, I contacted the NJ Turnpike and lodged a complaint and I'm waiting for my $53.00 refund! So don't let them swindle you... most people don't know about the pricing on the NJ Turnpike. read more

Still 1 star 2 years later after a horrible experience I was forced to use them again due to Nj turnpike contracts. Be careful if you need to do business with them is all I will say as my first review was taken down by the owner. read more

I am very dissatisfied with puleiou's towing. I wish I had read these reviews before they towed my car. Unfortunately the turnpike trooper is the one who called them, and they conspired together charging me $150.00 for a 5 minute tow. When I told him I didn't have the money, he then told me to give him $100.00 as I was gathering up the money he saw I had a credit card and once again asked for 150.00 bucks. I am a triple A member which means I don't pay for the tow. I showed him my membership from the triple A app. And he said that's not acceptable he needs the actual card. I called triple A, and he refused to talk to them. Triple A apologized to me for the tow company behavior, and asked me to pay them and they will reimburse me. If anyone tell you they'll call puleiou's towing, you tell them nevermind and save yourself the headache!!!!! read more

I just had a horrible experience with this company. On 6/19/21 the tow guy named Oscar P. asked for my hitch to help tow the car from the turnpike and it nor the cover was seen again. They have also broken a light cover on my vehicle. After several calls as of 7/8/21 Tom states that Oscar said he doesn't have it nor will he replace it. This place is horrible but luckily I will not stop here. I will be contacting everybody to notify them of the horrible customer service of this company and will be taking them to small claims court as soon as I finish adding up all of the costs to replace what was lost and broken. read more

Terrible service poor people skills. The owner is a real scum bag. If it wasn't for the city of New Brunswick using them to tow vehicles they would've gone out of business a long time ago. I do love seeing them almost get a car hooked and then have to release it. They can't even get cars on the truck fast enough. Poor excuse for a business. read more

My boyfriend had his motorcycle impounded and these guys are contracted to do the towing. However, their trucks are not properly equipped to strap down motorcycles, even though the truck driver insisted he knew what he was doing. My boyfriend had to instruct him and then he didn't even listen to him. They strapped the bike incorrectly, my boyfriend took pictures because he had a feeling they would damage his expensive bike. Well low and behold, when he got the bike back, the exact place where the tow driver was instructed not to put pressure on was damaged and the multi variable cluster on the left handlebar was cracked and slid down the handlebar. When he contacted the tow company and asked the driver to own up to his mistake he was rudely dismissed and told to leave the premises and to 'come get it in court'. He wasn't even seeking monetary compensation as the damage was not terrible. Just an acknowledgment that they may want to look at their procedures for towing motorcycles. This establishment is very unprofessional and rude. They are a stain in Middlesex county and they embarrass the very professional, respectful, and courteous Middlesex Sheriff's department. Avoid at all costs. read more

These guys have a municipally granted monopoly on towing off of a localized stretch of the NJ Turnpike. Guess what happens to pricing and customer service when you grant someone a local monopoly for a service that is desperately needed in dire circumstances. They charged me for a "secondary tow" in addition to the $80 primary tow charge off the turnpike. When I asked what a secondary tow was, they responded "Any tow to ANY location after you get off the turnpike." Really?! So the second the tow truck hits a freeway exit, I get hit with a charge that is impossible to avoid? "Yeah." Ridiculous, avoid these guys at all costs if possible. read more

No stars- it only says 1 star because it wouldn't let me post it without one. This place is horrible. They are overpriced and that "person" who answers the phone is nasty as can be (and that's being nice because this is a public forum). He is rude and talks over you and does not answer questions. I will NEVER use them again and we are a very large commercial company with several trucks that are in and out of NJ everyday. read more

I recently was towed off the NJ Turnpike and felt the fee was the same as it would be anywhere else. The driver was most respectful and knowledgeable as to where my vehicle should go to be repaired. As a single women traveling it could have been real bad, but this was not the case. Puleio's repaired my car in a timely fashion and got me back on my trip home. I was shown where I could go to get something to eat and informed that it was a safe area to be walking etc. How courteous and considerate. I wished I lived nearby because I would use them anytime I had a need, I am truly grateful for their help in this recent breakdown. read more
