My first visit to Pueblo Magico and I was quite pleased. The dining area is cute, very colorful and cheerful. There's great Mexican tunes playing keeping the atmosphere festive and with the delicious aroma coming from the kitchen you. Will certainly be in a good mood here. The service was absolutely fantastic, there a great vibe from the women who helped us and generally from the staff passing by our table to help other patrons. You can see from my pics that the portions are generous. And the food was delicious. I can't complain about anything here and have to say it's a shame I haven't gotten here sooner but my girlfriend and I agree we will be coming here more often.

Taco plate with chorizo and steak.

Stopped by for lunch today after an appt in the area. Authentic, great tasting Nexican food! Had a delicious tamale with chicken. Came to the table in a corn husk. Masa was moist not crumbly, and very tasty. Chips and 3 types of salsa definitely above average. Taco plate had 3 tacos with chorizo and steak together in a homemade corn tortilla. Very good tacos! Without a doubt worth a repeat visit.

The food was delicious, fresh, and made with love. I am used to a bigger menu but its authentic Mexican. It's BYOB

I ordered the chicken fajitas, but received the steak fajitas. They came to the table, sizzling on a cast-iron pan, great presentation. Unfortunately, the flavor just wasn't overly seasoned, as if there was no seasoning on the onions, peppers or steak. Kudos on the handmade tortillas, they came hot. The service was middle of the road as well, never got a drink refill. It's kind of a pet peeve of mine.

The food was well prepared and delicious. We had the guacamole & salsa with chips, Burrito Magico and Magic Combination both with fries. Everything was tasty, including the sour cream which was the best I've ever tasted. They served the beverages in traditional ceramic cups which kept them chilled. The staff was both friendly and attentive. The decor was lively and the music was a warm touch.

Came here on a whim as we had driven by it previously and wanted to give it a try. The ambiance was very casual and welcoming. It is a bit of a drive but let me tell you, it was well worth the drive. Their food is FRESH. The tortilla chips were light and crispy without being overly salty. Guacamole was spot on and my Steak Torta was great! I am very impressed with the freshness of the food and the speed of service. The only reason this review has four instead of five stars is due to the Horchata, which my fiancé got and said it tasted very watered down. Otherwise, the flavors and seasoning speak for themselves. I highly recommend coming here for fresh and flavorful Mexican food! Plan to come back and try the Horchata again and will update the review accordingly.

Expensive food bad customer service won't be back

I never take the time to write anything negative about a restaurant I frequently visit however on October 11th I called ahead to PB like on usually do on my way home from work I ordered my usual chicken tinga tostadas with a small side of rice and beans... why they charge extra is another issue when I arrived my order was out within 5 minutes great out the door on my way home I'm famished at this point no time for lunch at work that day To my surprise when I got home they gave me the wrong order Honest mistake it happens although it's early and the restaurant wasn't busy yet. I call them and explain the mix up and was asked if I could bring back the wrong order I kindly declined as I didn't feel like getting back in my car after a 45 minute commute home from work They delivered my found 30 minutes later thanked the driver Food was cold and not as good if I had gotten it when I was supposed too the driver asked for the wrong order back, luckily I didn't open the burrito yet. Just and unpleasant customer experience and for $25 I'll willl find a better restaurant going forward lord knows there a lot in red bank thanks

My husband and I just had dinner at Pueblo Magico on Leonardville Road in Belford. We were warmly welcomed and happily surprised to get a table as it was Mother's Day weekend. The service and food were excellent and the food was served hot. We each had the Magico Combination Platter. My husband cleaned his plate and I had half to take home as the portions were generous. We ate a bowl of their homemade tortilla chips before getting our dinners-we ate every single one! Such a great place so close to home and it's a BYOB. This will be our new go-to for delicious authentic Mexican food.

1st here and it was good food. Service was friendly and quick. Well decorated and authentic Mexican music. The price was also very budget friendly. I had 3 chicken tacos, chips and salsa and a Mexican Coke.

Food is always good. A bit pricey but no complaints on flavor or food. Take out I would give 4 stars. But eating there is definitely better

Communication can sometime be a little difficult, but the food more than makes up for it. Update 1: 5 stars again, got delivery via the restaurant a few days back. The arabes had great flavor, and lasted for days. Chorizo tacos were obviously the favorite, as expected. Also, was blown away by how filling and delicious the Cemita was. Support local businesses, if you can, please! I was starving after my massage and ordered tacos to go - two tacos with chorizo, potatoes, onions and one with chicken, smoked chipotle. Literally sped home to eat them (I had one in the car right away. Don't regret it) Amazing, amazing tacos. The chorizo tacos said onions (cebolla) but they were long stemmed bulbs - not sure if they're called something else but I loved them (please let me know if anybody knows what they're called. Check photIt came with lime, radish and green salsa (not sure). Red Bank has awesome options if you don't care about these places being small, cramped and not upscale. Top quality authentic Mexican food. I'm going to go back soon to try more of their menu.

I love tacos, especially when they are authentic. Red Bank has no shortage of Mexican restaurants…read moreso I went on a mission to find lengua (beef tongue), which can be hard to come by. Thankfully North of the Border came through. I like to try a variety of tacos but unfortunately NOTB, like many others, does not let you mix and match. Therefore, I chose an order of 3 lengua and 3 chorizo tacos. I also ordered a bottle of coke to go. I had to do a double take of the receipt as my total was pushing $30. I asked the woman at the counter to break down the prices and confirmed that the lengua tacos were $13 and chorizo were $9. This threw me off as an older picture of the menu shows all tacos priced at $7. I really enjoyed these tacos. They were super authentic and full of flavor. I may order again but will be shopping around first to find tacos that are more reasonably priced.

We ordered takeout and quite frankly were disappointed. I got an al pastor burrito, which was the smallest burrito I have ever gotten from a restaurant. If I'm being honest, there were only a few bites that were not entirely bread. When you got to the al pastor, it was flavorful but it just wasn't what I expect from a restaurant. It kind of seemed like they used the wrong size burrito to wrap it or just reallllly skimped on the toppings. There was also no sour cream in it despite being listed on menu. My wife got a chicken quesadilla, that while it resembled a quesadilla it was essentially a folded tortilla that was not pressed at all. It was kind of like a taco. Maybe a different iteration of a traditional quesadilla, but it was a bit off in my opinion. Chips & Salsa for $4, came with a salsa that we would get for free if we asked. It was a tiny container, similar to something you'd put ketchup in. I figured we'd get a larger portion and a true chunky salsa. Maybe it was an off night as they recently opened, but I can't see myself going back if this is what you get.
