First time I've ordered subs from my favorite pizza place. Oops, my bad, I'll stick with pizza from now on. My ham and cheese was overdone and I didn't see any cheese. I have always been to Pudgies, and I will say that the Pizza never disappoints. This is my first time at this location, and I am quite disappointed with the service and atmosphere. We got our pizza right away, but the lady at the counter gave our wings away to another customer and we had to wait for a long time before we got them. The inside atmosphere is also not the best, with broken lights and dents in the walls, but was fine for our quick dinner. Would only recommend for take out. read more

Atmosphere - My parents are a regulars and new about the parking lot in the back. Parking on the street is limited. When you park in the back the door is not marked but it is the white building. The place looks a little warned down. Food Dinner - One large pepperoni pizza. The dough was a little thicker than a hand tossed. The crust is what stood out to me. It had a nice crunch but still had soft chewy center. Service - My parents called the ordered in and paid, they are so stubborn when it comes to paying for meals. Future - Probably. read more

Made a return visit to Pudgies Pizza in Corning, and am sorry to say my review has flipped. I have worked in food service hospitality for 12 years, and quite frankly I get how much it sucks. Employees simply want most to just get along together through their shift as they are all in a place they really would rather not be. On my visit Friday, 23 July 2021 at approximately 5:30PM the employees were all having a really good time together. The problem is that when that core objective relates to terrible quality food, then, it may be time to seek an alternative profession. We ordered a medium sized wings in hot sauce, and somehow the hot sauce ended up all out of the container and in the bag. Also, the hand written name on the container was not ours. So, did we get wings from another order that were not picked up? The pizza was full of air bubbles, which would have been fine, however the dough inside the bubbles was raw; total lack of respect for the food. The fries I added on were soggy and disgusting because for a "togo order" they dumped the hot /ranch sauce on the fries instead of incl two cups as indicated in the menu picture located on the order counter. Yuck! However, the employees really seemed to be enjoying each other's company. They all seemed very happy, and I am happy for them that they all have found their personal karma. I do, however, wish their personal happiness could have spilled over to this customers experience on that Friday evening of 23 July 2021. Will there be a third review? I placed my order over the phone for pick up. Every Pudgie's is a bit different. I love a good CBR. This place does NOT have that! Even with instructions for xtra ranch, xtra chz. It was dry as heck! I paid xtra and got the same Crappy CBR that I've ordered there before. I even asked the obvious new girl to please make sure they do NOT add ranch swirls on top. When I went to pick up there was the swirl and she tried to say it's to prevent the chz from burner....Ridiculous! The cook was lazy and didn't follow directions. The one in Addison is way better. I just received the most terrible service from this restaurant and disrespect from the manager... I ordered a sheet pizza with 20 wings and 2 quarts of soft drinks. However, I ordered at 6:04 PM and did not receive a notification for delivery until 6:52 PM so I proceeded to call the restaurant to find out where our delivery was at and the employee that answered my call was very polite and gave me the information I asked for and I stated to her that I was concerned our food would be cold by the time it was delivered, she did explain to me that they were very backed up at that hour and she told me to call back when it was delivered to let her know if it was cold or not and she would contact her manager. We did not receive our food until 7:35 PM and it was indeed cold when it arrived and I do not blame any of the employees at the restaurant or the delivery driver at all because they were doing the best they could. However, the manager did call me back and stated they could only give me 20% off my next order after I just paid $60 in food and ended up hanging up on me because my fiance was stating how he felt about waiting over an hour and receiving cold food for the price we paid. read more

Did 2 sub meal deals for 10 each and one regular sub. The 2 subs for the meal deal literally look like they were on hotdogs rolls while the other sub was twice as big. I placed the order online at 320pm for pickup at 445 because I was meeting my wife for dinner at 5. I got there at 440 and it wasn't ready but I was early so no worries. I got my food at 5pm when I was supposed to be meeting. We got there and were missing a sub so back i went. The counter lady told the guy in the kitchen I was missing one and he said"what the f@#k I f@#$ing made 3 where did it go". Everyone waiting heard him. Attached is a photo of half of two of the subs big difference in size. Then to top it off there were 2 55cent charges that were on my second meal deal(I got nothing extra) even the girl at the counter had no clue, but she couldn't take it off. She said her manager would be in later and he'd call me. Update. The manager called the 2 upcharges we're for cheese on the sub and ranch{which was an option in their menu} Lesson learned if youmwant a hot roast beef sub with bbq with or without cheese goto Aniellos where their litteraly twice the size and no upcharge for cheese and about 2 bucks less. read more

The first time the delivery driver actually gave us another customer's food, let us bring it in our home, and then after we ran outside as he was leaving, took it back... all during a pandemic. Second time, he gave us our order but was short 10 wings. Third time we got an order of wings with a completely different name on them. Just dropped by for a two slice special since I haven't had Pudgies in quite awhile. You should really change your name from Pudgies to anything else. I used to eat here regularly and I could never taste a difference between this and the Southside Pudgies that I grew up eating. Everything about the pizza is different, and not in a good way. There was a small amount of sauce on the pizza, the cheese tasted soured, and the pepperoni was barely warm. Please find the original recipe and use it. read more

The Corning location is very different from the other we have visited. The dining area is smaller but the lobby area is spacious. The food was hot and fresh. The area was clean and decently lit. A good place to stop in for food pick up. read more

We were in the area to go to the Corning Glass Museum and were looking for a quick bite. Pudgie's sounded ok. While the prices were good (on Wednesday and foot long sub is $5), the pizza was very mushy and floppy. We are used to New York City style pizza in northern New Jersey and that's what we expected. Stopped in last night after work for a pizza to take home. Ordered a medium (their smallest) $10.99 with pepperoni (add $2.45). Seemed a decent price. Asked how long would take since I planned to sit there and wait. Twenty minutes. Actual time about 15 minutes for a steaming hot pizza packed and ready to go. Clean place. Pleasant, accommodating staff. Not the greatest sauce in the world (a bit bland for my taste) but a good and filling pizza with two pieces of pepperoni on each slice. read more

There's been a Pudgies Pizza in Corning for long as I can remember and I have never hesitated to stop for a meal or order ahead until today. The last time I was in, a man in very grungy clothes and apron was behind the counter answering the telephone, a mask that also appeared dirty worn below his nose. When he hung up, he walked back to the prep counter to make my sub. I was shocked and disappointed and could not go through with actually paying for and taking home a sandwich that this man had prepared. I was properly wearing a mask when I walked in. The girl at the counter, also wearing a proper mask, was very profuse with her apologies and refunded my money. I'm very disappointed that I don't feel comfortable enjoying the good food from this Pudgies anymore. I don't usually take the time to complain, I'm new to Yelp, but in this day of a pandemic, it's hard enough to venture out and trust that you're not going to be exposed by careless people let alone with your food! read more

They're known for their affordable sheet pizzas though you either love them or hate them (thick crust and lots of sauce). My tend to go more often for their $5 sub Wednesdays but tell them light on the oil or you'll have a soggy sub. Never have had any customer service issues and they're always speedy. read more

Ordered wings from pudgies that we're supposed to be mild.When I got home with them they were extremely spicy. When I called I supposedly got the manager but I think I got the fat guy with an attitude and they wanted me to bring the food all the way back so they could look at them.
