My wife offered to "cook" last night, so she ordered some carry-out from the Antwerp location of Puckerbrush. They are fairly new to Antwerp but we've gotten carry-out a handful of times before, all with tasty results. I ordered the Italian sandwich they call "da boot" and she ordered the 4 cheese pizza which might have been the special of the night. My sandwich was wonderful as always but the real surprise was the large 4 cheese pizza. I think the pizza dough is homemade because it had those air bubbles in it around the crust like you see on the cooking shows. I'm not sure what 4 cheeses they use but they were magic melted together, and along with the amazing pizza sauce this was the best darn cheese pizza I've ever had in my life - no question about it. Although this pizza is good that would be the only reason I'd give them any stars. We went to the one in Antwerp. The last two times my family and I have had this pizza it's been a horrible experience. Both times the order was wrong. When we called in to let them know and get it corrected they were completely rude. The "general manager" who seems to barely be an adult, called us a liar. He said that made it himself or took the order himself and that we were lying. The first time it was that he took the order and that the caller was lying. Then this time he said he made the food and it was correct. We even ordered the pretzel pizza off the menu and it showed up as a half of a bagel with minimal sauce, pepperoni and cheese. Instead of making this right he said that changed months ago and we told people for 2 months so we aren't responsible for the change. How is that even a thing? It's STILL on your menu and when we called it in we were never told. I paid for a pretzel. Needless to say the manager is a condescending, jerk with zero customer serves. Someone needs to train him or get someone that actually cares about their customers. We spent well over $60 on pizza and we will not be returning to this place. Ridiculous. read more

The wife and I stayed in Van Wert and everything closes early or wouldn't answer the phone when we called so I did some research and found Puckerbrush Pizzeria in the next town over. We tried the loaded potato pizza, and a supreme stromboli and a gyro. Their food is so good I would almost move there from 5 hours away lol. Keep up the great food guys!!! read more

I laugh at the 5 star reviews for this place. This is just another example that paulding county does not know a good pizza. I do not know what it is but the pizza leaves a sour aftertaste. The people or children that work for this pizza joint never get an order correct. If I could give this place a big fat 0, I most definitely would. read more
