Everything super size of the layout is different than most "normal" Publix' but I like this one for some reason the ambience is exactly what you think it's Publix. The food is Publix food so you know it's good too although I don't like to use bio engineered food ingredients and all their bakery stuff now that's a little bit weird I didn't notice that until 2025 but I love Publix or pub subs or infamous their cakes or infamous and they got really great customer service. Located off busy Hillsborough Blvd., parking lot is a bit challenging to maneuver but there are a good amount of spaces in front and to the left side of the store. On the occasions I have been there is a lot of movement and I have always found a spot. The produce section is off to the front left and to the back left you can find the butcher section. In the back right there is a hot food counter that serves up soups, different preparations of chicken, pork, tamales, morro rice, yellow rice and peas, white rice, calabasa squash (with onion and garlic), yucca (with onions and garlic), caramelized plantains, and other offerings that rotate depending on the day. We got a customizable filled-to-the-hilt to-go box and it was a very cheap $3.99! I can't find an offer like that anywhere (that I've been at least). Florida made bakery items are for sale and strewn about the store. There's some speciality packaged goods and seasonings also. The front part of the store has juices and cut packaged fruit (I believe). There are also quick grab-and go Cuban confections by the check-out registers, perfect for a sweet fix on the run. I also once saw packaged cut up papaya heavily discounted by the registers. Workers are friendly and I loved hearing the Latin beats blaring while shopping. I look forward to returning soon.
