It's a comfy and clean place to grab a sandwich or salad and bakery items. My salad was great! The house made ranch dressing was heavy but delicious - all ingredients fresh and plentiful. Def need some black coffee to enjoy with those) All in all a great place to have a fresh salad/sandwich.

Parking is a bit tricky because the place is so packed with shoppers and diners. My dining companion, and I found a side street a few blocks away with street parking. I cannot adequately describe the quantity of Italian products in this store/bakery/wine, and cheese shop. There are so much to look at you will probably feel like you're on sensory overload. Take a ticket for the bakery counter. Take a ticket for the deli counter. Order a sandwich and baked goods to enjoy in the covered dining area outside the front of the store. I don't I don't a companion and I visited on a Saturday afternoon at an hour with considered post lunch rush. We were so wrong. The place is packed! Shoppers of all sorts are picking up weekly groceries, baked goods, deli items, cheese, wine, candies, and any manner of specialty product products. Despite the long lines to pick up bakery items or deli items, the line to check out, moves very swiftly. The majority of people seem to know how the place functions and what order to pick up things to check out in the most swift fashion without having to backtrack. On our next visit, we will have a better sense of what the routine is. I highly recommend a visit to the store if you're in the area, and save room for a bakery item!

THE BEST DELI SANDWICH I'VE HAD IN SUCH A LONG TIME! Reminiscent of NJ/NYC deli sandwiches back in…read morethe 2000s / early 2010s. Got the roast beef club on cuban bread, added mayo and pickles, and it was toasted to perfection. The roast beef was so rare and tender, the bacon was one of the best bacons I've ever had (insanely crispy but not oily, and maintained it's crispiness the entire meal even though I'm such a slow eater). The tomatoes and lettuce were firm--didn't squeeze out of the sandwich or make a mess. And I'm usually not a fan of pickles but it was so fresh and added a flavor to break up the meat + bread taste! The service was phenomenal. It's a family-owned restaurant and everyone is so nice. The guy who took my order was so patient and helpful (I was having major decision paralysis). The vibe is clean, spacious, cute, and super homey / themed. It's also part grocery with German bevs, snacks, and dried goods (and also fresh goods behind the counter and on the menu ofc). I def want to go back and pick up some goods to bring home to my family and I will def be back again for lunch!!!

Kind of a bizarre place. Is it a gas station? Is it a convenient store? Is it a restaurant?…read more What in the world is going on inside? You walk in and it's like a transformed gas station into kind of a deli, kind of a convenience store, and kind of a restaurant. Super duper weird. The menu has a ton of stuff on it. I was feeling like getting some food from my people so thought I'd try this German spot. Up first was the #3 Reuben for $13.95. I love me a good Reuben. However, this is not the place to get a Reuben. Super thin, barely any meat or flavor. It is mostly eating bread. Avoid. Up next, I can't remember what the other sandwich was, but it was bad. I think it was a Cuban, but not sure. It was straight bread. Take a look at the pic. Now, the only above average food item I tried was the German potato salad. I would come back here only for that. Tons of German beers here and souvenirs.

We started with a meatball sub (don't break my balls) and Philly cheesesteak (yo mamma). Both delicious, hot and filled with the good stuff. And the bread? Worth the trip on its own lol. Next we tried 3 of their famous chicken cutlet tacos. Caesar salad, Alfredo and vodka pasta. Super messy and super delish. We packed more than half of all that for home. Of course we also took a piece of lemon cello cake and pack of black & white cookies for dessert. I was there with my mom and my five month old daughter in a stroller, which wasn't easy. This was my first time here and the process of ordering and then waiting for your order to be called was stressful. I checked the menu online before going and there was no mention of the slice specials which I couldn't see easily from the line. I also couldn't see the slice bar or flavors available while in line so that wasn't helpful. The fountain for drinks is behind the counter so you can't get yourself a refill. Instead, you have to go through the crowd again to ask an associate to do it for you. Associates were helpful with my questions. No one was wiping tables down between customers. I ordered the Yo Adrian, Bianca slice, cannoli and lobster tail. The Yo Adrian was okay. Too much soft bread, not enough cheese, good amount of onions and some of the meat was chunks rather than shaved. The Bianca slice was primarily burnt on the bottom and didn't seem fresh which is sad considering we were there before noon. The cannoli was good. The lobster roll pastry was great; likely because it was fresh. The ice cream is in boxes, which have had the top cut off and the cardboard was wet and peeling in one of the boxes I saw while waiting in line. I think skipping the ice cream seems like a safe choice. I won't be rushing back but will return at some point to try a breakfast sandwich on a NY bagel and order a whole pie to try so it's fresh.

The one thing that really got to me was that there was a customizable sandwich section, so I get a roast beef sandwich. Every topping is extra money, even the basics... lettuce, tomato, mayo. Lastly get this, they wouldn't add pickles to my sandwich... the waitress said I could pay for a couple of spears on the side, but they won't add pickle chips to any sandwich... at a place advertised as a sandwich place... named "Lucky dill deli"... it felt pretty ironic and kinda bizarre! Other than that, everything was OK. Mozz sticks were great, service was ok. Will probably not be returning, but not a bad place for a quick bite.
