I shop at Publix a lot and generally don't have problems with them although their bogos are going downhill. After making a vaccine appointment online for my husband and me, a process that takes about 20 minutes, we came in for our appointment today. A person at the pharmacy told us our appointment was canceled and we could visit another store because they didn't have any vaccines. They could have called us. This is just not acceptable! read more

Pretty good selection of all products wanted both organic and non GMO. Have to say a bit spoiled coming from Texas where our prices are much lower .Almost everything was at least 50 to 60% higher in prices. They did have a nice selection of bakery items and veggies. read more

I shop here religiously for the deli and bakery I typically switch up things with my recipes but can find everything I need to make them here. I often get a custom sub but have been trying out different go to subs for my cheat meals. I kind of miss the old Oak Valley Plaza but the renovated Publix isn't bad either. Your employees are stealing you blind. They can't even get.customers orders.right. I have used publix for delivery. I am under very limited transport. I use publix for food delivery Never have I got a order that was right. The people handling you deliveries. are crazy. They are not right They are constantly making mistakes an refuse to fix any.problems.as of this date II am owed 167.00 on orders they refuse to fix or make right. This covers alot of orders. The most recent was 8/28. I placed an order and was telling the lady doing my order. There missing items She refused to fix it. Told me she couldn't. Fix any thing The order was.not finished. She closed my order. Sent some drivers who was wild eyed. He has my whole order in two hands.dumped everything on my patio floor. And turned to leave. I asked wear The test of my order was he stated he must have miss it. I looked in thee back of his carand my items were in the car.when I asked for.my order he said he was in a hurry. I reached in and got my items.he sped off . Hitting bushes. I am tired of this. It's not the first time. They don't fix mistakes. Thus is awful. I am a senior with health issues. I don't drive. I relay on these deliver to buy my food and medication Everyone is going to tell everyone. They are stealing right and left..they are ruining your company. This is a small Publix. It is very clean and well-staffed. Items are is way different locations than the other Publix stores in town. It has an unusual setup. The shelves are stocked and maintained. The deli and bakery section is nicely managed. Check out is always fast and pleasant. read more

This location of Publix is my favorite in Tallahassee Friendly staff always saying hello, smiling and asking if you need help but not too intrusive. They always have a bunch of registers open, the bakery, deli and seafood part are not to busy. I find myself getting most of my fruits and vegetables here. They always bag your groceries and are way to happy to bring it out for you. That being said this is my goto Publix, I kind of live half way between two. This location has less hectic parking and is always more well stocked. When I can't make it to the seafood market. I come here they always have a nice selection of seafood and even some fresh. I also Love the BOGOs , digital coupons they always have some useful stuff but one take one. If you have the phone app you can check it out ahead of time and it tell you the aisles for everything. I mean who doesn't like hearing you saved $12, $50 or $87 dollars after you check out. read more

I spent $168 today at this Publix. Once I arrived home found over $40 was not in my bags. I called the store and was told to return to resolve. Once I arrived I waited another 10 plus minutes waiting for my bag to be retrieved. The items in the bag were from the deli and had my name on it. Why someone didn't call me is shocking since the deli had verified my order. So I know they had my phone number. Publix employees are annoyingly pleasant and friendly but they could not take the time to call me to say a bag was missed. If they had I could have saved a trip to return. I was still in the store renting a movie for a while. All I got was I'm sorry. Well. Sorry isn't enough today. They should and could have called me. Will avoid this store going forward. Location is clean Ans they are maintaining social distancing etc. Just wish the guy who was organizing items near the front door today at lunch time was a little more patient. I ask merely where do you keep Your aloe vera stalks ....( most places keep them Cold or near produce or even close to a medicine isle) but not only did the individual blow his breath in disgust but answered me as if I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN WHERE THIS ITEM WAS. Only thing missing was a "Duhhhh". Sorry sir my first visit to your store and wanted to get in and out , thought to ask the most knowledgeable person, You in the store uniform. Now second is I went to pay for now lemonade 2 of them and the aloe stalk to the Hispanic cashier Then proceeds to give me my total which was $6.85. I handed her a 5$ bill and 2.00$ in singles , she used a currency fraud pen on the 5$. Now to my surprise the Guest before me used cash didn't see the pen being used and her total was well over 15$. I asked the clerk you scann 5$ bills here if paying with cash? She says , yes they tell me to scan money anything over a dollar . I said hmmm only for select customers then huh? I am a fan of Publix and always have been. This location is clean with ample parking, a deli and bakery, and with helpful friendly staff. I liked the layout which is slightly different than my regular Publix. So on the whole this location won my affection, as most Publix stores always do :-) read more

How no one has taken the little effort to review this important Publix is beyond me. It's not even conveniently located for me, but I come here 5-6 times annually (pre- and post- remodelling) so I "get its vibe". I've seen this store layout before (In Naples, the Publix that Golden Gate Parkway dead ends into (on 41) is virtually the identical layout. The wine is at 1 o'clock. These feels like the most modern Publix design in town. Certainly not the biggest (I think that's either Lake Ella / Ocala or Thomasville/I-10), this Publix nonetheless has a well stocked international aisle, a fairly solid Sushi box (Blairstone / Governor's Crossing Publix is the best Sushi box in town) and a good wine selection to boot. You may not know this, but... If you tell a publix manager about great service you get from a particular employee - legend has it that the employee gets "a free lunch" (I know stores recognize employee compliments differently, but I believe a sub from the deli is often the reward.) read more

Really disappointed in the quality of the chicken that I receive this evening I spend a lot of time on the road and travel and I actually prefer to eat at a Publix as far as the deli this is the first time I've ever received the chicken at Publix Deli that was dried very old tough was just unedible I was just amazed at the poor quality this time typically the chicken is fresh moist tender and top quality for whatever reason the Tallahassee Publix tonight was just complete failure read more

On Friday, Dec. 11, I shopped this Publix. One of my purchases was sweet potatoes which were on sale for .59 lb. When I got home to check my receipt, they charged me for Russset potatoes at .99 lb. Suggest everyone check their receipts from this store before they leave the store. The sweet potatoes were 1.80 lb and should have cost $1.06 at .59, but I was charged $1.78. Small difference I know but every little bit helps these days and this store owes me .70. read more

I have been using this pharmacy for 10 + years. They never greet me by name or acknowledge my loyalty. Ive had several small issues with this place before but nothing like what I experienced on Tuesday. I called over a week ago to refill my prescription and they stated it was expired and they would call my doctor for a new authorization. I called Last Friday to verify that the authorization was approved and that the medication was filled. The kind lady on the phone told me that it was filled and ready to be picked up. I left town and went to Publix on Tuesday to pick it up and the rude lady behind the counter who needs to practice her grammar skills stated that the RX was declined by my doctor and was never filled. She basically called me a liar when I told her that I called to check the status and was told it was ready for pick up. I then pulled my phone out to show her the call that was made that Friday. Right there on the spot, I called my doctors office where they informed me they faxed the approval over that Friday morning. At this point in the game the pharmacist ( a 40+ years old blond haired lady) completely chewed me out. Once again stating that I never called and if I did why didn't I ask for the persons name who answered and blah blah blah. TO sum up this long story, my doctors office talked to the very rude pharmacist and they filled my prescription pretty promptly. The Pharmacist very rudely tossed my RX to the check out counted and stated it was ready. Then young black woman at the counter changed her attitude and was very kind to me as I checked out. Needless to say, I will be switching pharmacies because not only did they mess up by not filling the approved request but then told me it was ready when it wasn't and then proceeded to chew me out for their mistakes. Over my years of experience here I must say that I very much like the gentlemen pharmacist (tall with dark hair) but this new lady sucks! read more
