Potentially the most ill-advised placement of a Trader Joe's yet. Whose bright idea was it to place one of these next to a drive-thru Starbucks? That's asking for sheer madness! That said, if you manage to survive the death trap of the parking lot, this Trader Joe's isn't half bad. I mean, it's small compared to the one I'm used to in South Florida, but it still retains the charm of any Trader Joe's. The staff is genuinely polite and willing to go out of their way to help you. On my last visit, there was a spill on the floor and not only did they make sure I saw it, but they cleaned it up swiftly. Now I do have to say that the placement of products is a tad odd. I was looking for frozen mini baguettes and it took two visits for me to find them. Apparently these were in the middle of the frozen vegetables section, which frankly makes no sense to me, but okay - you do you, boo boo. I honestly should've asked beforehand about that placement, but eh, when you're in a rush, well - you forget things. At any rate, pleased this is up here in Tallahassee, but the placement next to Starbucks is just seriously encouraging my already terrifying coffee addiction. read more

I love Trader Joe's. Have been a fan for years. Just wish I lived closer to one. They had some Christmas out already to include the almond Kringle (which is fantastic). I'm not even joking when I say Trader Joes is half the reason I moved to Tallahassee from PCB. I got used to Trader Joe's in California, so I was lost when I ended up in a city without any nearby. I love the vegetarian selection of refrigerated and frozen foods. It has always been better than other grocery stores. Sure it doesn't have a full stock of cooking supplies, but there's so many time TJs has come in handy with snacks, healthy pre-made meals, and even gifts! My favorite part is the plants and flowers! There's a great selection of affordable live plants and bouquets available. This Trader Joe's is not any different in that it is always busy during typical times (lunch, weekends). We came in for some some Flatbread to make pizza with fresh sauce , mozzarella and organic basil.We had at least 5 people ask if we needed anything and came to find us when we were looking for a few hard to find items. I always enjoy coming here for some of their produce and their Trader Joe's brand products. I just don't see them as a primary grocery store but enjoy them as a supplement to my primary grocery store. I love coming here when the picky eater is out of town to indulge my broad tastes in food. It gives me a chance to "kick it up a notch". I think their meat prices are a little too high for regular purchases but there are some interesting choices for an occasional splurge. The store is small for a grocery store but it is well laid out with roomy aisles. Store is clean and the displays and shelves are well stocked and neat. The hardest part of shopping here is trying to find a place to park. This is a popular shopping center so you may have to hunt a little while for any place to park. read more

This particular Trader Joe's is located just off of Interstate 10 in a spacious shopping center which gives added bonus points for both convenience and ease of parking (two particular things that certain areas of Tallahassee, Florida certainly do not present). It is clean and inviting and the staff here are certainly professional, friendly and will get you headed in the right direction to the items within that store that you are seeking. Trader Joe's has built a cult of devotees and while this supermarket chain does not offer its customers a "one stop solution" where you will get anything and everything that you might need, there are certain things that Trader Joe's offers which has a great price point and the quality is either the same or surpasses other similar quality products offer. Again, this particular location is just off of Interstate 10, so it offers the traveler passing through Tallahassee on their journey through the Florida Panhandle a quick stop and an.equally quick on and off of Interstate 10, which is a huge plus (take it from someone who travels by car a lot for business). While Trader Joe's cannot by their own design meet your every need that a more traditional supermarket can, this location, as most of their locations that I have visited, have a quality product and the customer service to get you in and out fast. If you need say furniture polish or laundry detergent, seek those somewhere else (Publix is always a great choice), but if you need some high quality food items at a competitive price point, come check out this location of Trader Joe's. With plenty of parking and a professional team to assist you in a clean, bright atmosphere with a smile and a knowledgeable professionalism, this particular location of Trader Joe's has a lot to offer. Honestly, what store is better than Trader Joe's?! From the mask requirement to keep their visitors safe, the perfectly spaced markers to keep us distanced, the free water as it's shoppers wait outside and the limited capacity that makes shopping more enjoyable, I don't know how Trader Joe's could further improve. They are the Chick-fil-A of the supermarket world! I have been to several Trader Joe's and this one is equally as wonderful. It has a beautiful flower section, fresh produce and meat and overall a very organized store. I frequent this store a few times a months with my friends. Love having a Trader Joe's near my house. I love the affordable conscious eating choices. Today, I stopped by as I was visiting a store near by and decided I needed more items for our Christmas Eve and Christmas meals. The store was clean and staff was super friendly. I choose many of there fresh fruits and vegetables. I was loving the cheese section and variety of meats perfect for crackers. The checkout was the best part. They make eating healthy affordable which is a rarity now a days and as a vegetarian/Vegan I can appreciate not spending my whole paycheck on healthy alternatives. He did not press any button to give us the receipt just kept talking. After a couple of minutes he finally pressed the button then just waved the receipt until eventually just putting it in the bag. Trader Joe's, how I love thee. There's no place better for shopping on a budget than Trader Joe's. And yes, I'm quite aware that, "money isn't everything," but for the quality of produce, meat or anything TJ-branded in the store, it's quite ridiculous the value you receive here. I'm obsessed with a few takeaways here: the yogurt cups, the fresh pastas and the cabinet/pantry stocking-stuffer sauces. Seriously, all of these aforementioned items are TJ's branded and they are as decadent as they come. If you're looking for great wine and beer you're in luck, too. Woohoo! I have a Trader Joe's in my hood. I've shopped at TJ from time to time when I lived in another state. But I come to this location much more often because it's super close to me. I've recently discovered their salads section that offers pretty decent Asian salads ranging from Vietnamese, Thai to Japanese. That deff makes a quick delicious meal. On my recent trip, I got some orange/mango/peach juice, Sriracha bacon jerky (it's the shit!), dried mango slices, plantain chips and a bottle of moscato. I was happy with the stuff I got and want to come back and get some goat cheese to go with my wine. Let's not forget abt TJ's fresh flowers! I'll have to get some of those in the future. This particular location is convenient. Store is bright and clean. Staff are always super nice and friendly. It's a small shop I have to admit so it doesn't have everything I need. But that doesn't make TJ less awesome though and I'll soon become the duchess! read more

I visited this store the week of Christmas and was shocked to have such an easy time parking and short lines to check out. When I visited in July, there was a line of customers waiting outside just to enter the store - in the middle of the day on a weekday. As with every Trader Joe's location I have visited, the staff was friendly, helpful, and abundant - there always seemed to be someone nearby whenever I had a question. I was able to find some of our family's favorites at this location, and the store seemed to be well-stocked and organized (again, even though it was a few days before Christmas). The store does a good job of making customers feel safe during the pandemic with their safety measures. Staff sanitizes the carts before customers use them, masks must be worn by customers, staff all appeared to be wearing masks (properly), and there were signs on the floor indicating where guests should stand when waiting in line for registers to ensure they were 6 feet apart. It is nearly impossible to keep 6 feet away from other customers while shopping though, given the size of the store and how narrow some of the aisles are - but I'm not sure there is much they could do about that unless they reduced the number of aisles (which I wouldn't want to see). read more

I love this place so much! They recently expanded their wine section so things have moved around quite a bit. The produce, frozen and refrigerated sections are pretty much the same. The frozen Brussels sprouts (.99!) are a staple for me, but I couldn't find them today. I mentioned it to the cashier who said, " I know, RIGHT?!" Then she went up to the customer service desk and found out they would be back in stock tomorrow. Great customer service is the norm here. I usually go straight for the samples upon arrival... a little coffee and a snack to keep up my stamina for shopping! Fun music too. Shopping here just makes me happy! read more

Traders Joe's to me is a generic quick stop to grab some unbranded favorites that are neither too cheap quality and not too expensive. Kind of like the middle ground of groceries like the middle bear in Goldilocks and the three bears.. just right. That being said this location is pretty much always fully stocked, the line is usually only one person or less. Only flaw is the parking kind of stinks but that's the neighborhood. Bonus You can get some bargains...for example Some vegetables are priced by the item like bananas are 19 cents each and eggplants so I always grab the BIG !! Ones .. Score!!!! I pick up some American friendly food items like Indian and Asian flavorings. For when I have guests that are too unadventurous to use the more authentic ones. Ohhhhhh how I wish there was a Trader Joe's on my side of town. I don't get to visit this store for various reasons. This is a small grocery store that seems to be a cross between Whole Foods and Earth Fare. Trader Joes is not quite a "one stop shop" but it gets a 5 star rating for quality and price. There are only a few items that I still need to get from the store once leaving Trader Joes. I love that they have their own brand of products with the same quality and fair price. Trader Joes focuses on healthy fresh produce and healthy products that cannot be purchased "everywhere." Where else can you get .19 bananas. Although Trader Joes is not huge when it comes to meat selections, there are some options available both in the fresh aisle as well as the frozen aisle. There are lots of all around options for vegetarians, vegans and those who are on a gluten free diet. There is a meatless product called "Quorn" that Trader Joe's sells and it is by far one of the better products. The coffee is pretty extensive in selection as well as the wine believe it or not. I don't really find that many of the dairy products are offered at a good sale price, but Trader Joe's brand of yogurt is good. The check out lanes are that of local streets. The staff are super down to earth and friendly and I hardly have to wait for long to get checked out. Overall, this is a great place to shop. I just wish it were closer to where I live. read more

Honestly I don't go to Trader Joe's for regular shopping but I go probably every 2-3 months to pick up my favorite treats and random goods. My daughter (almost 6) LOVES going and searching for TJ the tiger and getting a treat if she finds him. The staff is seriously the best ever and is always so sweet to my little one. We were on a trip to south FL with a travel group, and we stopped at the shopping center where Trader Joe's was located. We had never been to a Trader Joe's prior to this visit. I had not planned on buying anything, just to browse. But I did buy several things primarily due to one of the employees, Glenn. Excellent fruit and veggie section, especially the pre-made salads. Lots of gluten free products and their prices are VERY reasonable considering that they are known for being a healthier grocery store. I love all the specialty products they have depending on the time of the year. I just picked up their Pumpkin Spiced Pumpkin Seeds along with some other pumpkin products (as it is pumpkin season) and I can't wait to try them all. I sampled the pumpkin bread pudding in the store and it was delicious! Workers were very pleasant and professional and even took the time to search in back to see if they had anymore pumpkin bagels left. They did!! Yaaayy me!!! I had no issues finding a parking spot although it didn't seem to be rush hour when I went a around 6:30. Will be coming here more often from now on. read more
