First chocolate cake from Publix. The chocolate ganache was 10/10. I'm not a big fan of the whipped icing that it was crumb coated on (in general). The chocolate cake itself was pretty good, but not amazing. Still giving this cake a good rating because the design of the cake was very nice and looked expensive and the chocolate ganache did make the cake! Also, wanted to add the vanilla and chocolate design swirls around the cake were a nice added touch and elevated the design overall. read more

Waiting for tenders for 20 minutes. After being told 10 minutes. Then, after 13 minutes was told 6 minutes. Due to fryer being under temp and taking longer to cook. I was standing 3 minutes alone before being greeted. It was the worst publix experience I've ever had. read more

I had a awful experience went to purchase some oranges they all was rotten with flies and nets all over them . I told a store worker about it and they still were left there. And also their pricing don't be right. Now, when I shop I need to take photos of the price so me and cashier have to walk around or I have to wait for a manager. read more

Shopping here is ok, but as far as the deli and bakery go I'd chose another location. Both departments are always out of items especially the fried chicken in the deli. The customer service could use some fine tuning. I feel like this is the only Publix location that isn't all that great. read more

Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location and I give it five stars. read more

The meats and cheeses at their deli are excellent. Publix has the best fried chicken, better than the Colonel's and better than Churches. My only issue is they went way up on the Tillamook Ice Cream. They also sell the Amish Rolled Butter, and that butter is fantastic. read more

My local Publix in Gardendale Alabama is the typical store. Clean, busy and full of customers. I've shopped at Publix for years and thought it was worth paying a little more for the variety of products and the service. However, since Covid they have decided to gouge their faithful customers. Recently I go into Publix to pick up a 2 liter diet Mountain Dew. I did not look at the price, but the girl at the register made a remark about how expensive it was. $4 for one 2 liter soft drink. Ridiculous! I just went to a local convenience store where prices are always higher than most grocers. Nope! I bought 2 two liter mountain dews for $5.26 including tax. This is simple price gouging and nobody can convince me that Publix is not taking advantage of its customers. It obviously is not such a great place to work as you never see the same employees for more than a couple weeks. read more

I've stopped here a couple of times, just for a few items, not a full buggy worth of groceries. Store is always clean and the lines are always short. Customer service has always been helpful. I love finding their clearance cart and all of the good deals (no hints on where it's located :) ) The entrance to the parking lot can be a little tricky, but other than that, a good place for shopping in the Clay area. read more

Walking in, I was immediately greeted by one of the employee. The whole store is well clean and organized to my surprising, since most grocery stores don't put much effort into keeping things tidy. I didn't get that same vibe most customers get when walking pass a few employees here. They were too focus on their task to even acknowledge me. I understand you have projects to complete at a certain time, but you shouldn't be too focus on your tasks to not acknowledge your customers. read more

Terrible!!!! I wondered why my Shipt shopper asked me to change my store...now I know. Bought a few items for a salad. There were only a few red onions available...the one I picked once I got home...rotten on the inside. For the same salad, I had gotten an avacado. It was so dry and brittle I could barely get out. Stood at seafood counter forever and NEVER got service. I will NOT be going back to this Publix. So far below the quality I'm used to. read more

Let me start by saying, rating isn't for the store, but for a deli employee by the name of Jaz. Her attitude is terrible! I guess I'm not suppose to question her about items that I don't see. I say this because I asked if she had any chicken fingers and breaded chicken coming up. She stated regular chicken would be 15mins and there was 4 chicken fingers on the bar. I didn't want to walk around the store 15mins holding cold chicken so I told her I would come back. 15 mins later we get back I ordered 15pcs of chicken (but I ordered them 10 at a time so they could be packaged separately). I told her I wanted them separated (like I ordered them). She rolled her eyes called another coworker over and told him I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU DO JUST GET THEM OUT OF MY FACE.. AND WALKED OFF WITHOUT EVEN FINISHING MY ORDER! I went straight to the front for a manager. I've never had a bad experience at this location or any Publix for that matter.. every employee goes out of their way to help you in any way they can. This is my 1st encounter with Ms Jaz and hopefully it will my last.. read more

This store is always friendly, helpful and courteous. The staff knows where everything is and will bend over backwards to help you. The bakery is always wonderful and there is not one thing in the bakery I would feel bad about feeding my children. Keep up the good work! read more
