For some reason I believe this place really doesn't get much business but I could be wrong. This location seemed a little small and they do not have restrooms for the public, just so you know. I had to pick up a prescription for someone with an insurance card who wasn't in their system. The whole process may have taken 5 minutes max. There wasn't any big wait or anything. Depending on where you live like I do, the distance traveled is a little great. 20 minutes for me when I could have traveled 7 minutes to another pharmacy. However the other pharmacy didn't carry what was needed, Kroger for example. I had to make two 20 minute trips there because someone (me) forgot the insurance card and drove all the way there before I realized I forgot it then had to go back to get it. Before I arrived home I had to get strong armed robbed at the gas pump first. $60 brought me a little over half a tank. (Jesus Help Us!) That would be a place you could probably just go into to take your Covid shot without any appointment. However I don't know for a fact if Covid shots are done there, it is a pharmacy and I don't see why not. To be on the safe side, call first if that's what you need before you drive there.

Once sent home, I mistakenly took new meds other than as prescribed, and immediately called the pharmacy. The pharmacist explained that I should be fine, but if issues to go to the ER. The deli is well maintained with roasted chickens always available and a wide deli selection. I've just recently moved to Winder where I'm having to adjust from my Kroger and I found I can get most everything I want here. This place is clean, the staff is friendly and plentiful and the isles are well marked define things although learning a new grocery store always takes time. There is a Starbucks here as well for those who like Starbucks and they have an advantage program and gasoline so I'm hoping to see if I can get the same deals on gasAs I did with Kroger. Again for an essentially non-believer in the beginning I'm very impressed with this Ingles and will be back.

Located on the…read moresquare in downtown Cumming, this place has a hometown feel of the small drug stores from the 70's that are hard to find these days. If you have monthly refills you might be able to save quite a bit of money at Goodson. The pharmacist will take the time to discuss the medication and give you an information sheet. If you don't feel like walking inside, give them a call when you pull in the parking lot and they will bring your meds out to the car. We transferred all of our prescriptions over from a large chain grocery store and now we save money and time. I also like it that they carry old fashioned candy by the piece!
