I walked in for C batteries and of course I got lost on purpose. I loved the flowers in the glass case. I got some tulips for a friend. Then the worker near the self check out was nice enough to tell me what aisle to find the find the batteries in. As I walked down, I saw the Mighty dog toy that I've been looking for everywhere. I just paid more than doubled for one online and they are on sale for 11.99 here. Lucky enough, the Energizer batteries are 25% off right now too. read more

Last Saturday I had a reunion with my neighbors. We all brought something, and well, I brought a charcuterie platter. I had ordered it days in advance and opted to pay in the store. Good thing, too, as they were slow as molasses, and for a moment, I thought I had gone to the wrong store. It took them a good 5-to-10 minutes to find my order. Not cool. The staff was apologetic and kind, but given that I'm used to people bringing their A game, this was just okay in comparison. I'm not sure why the bad reviews but anytime I've come to this Publix, I've been welcomed by great and friendly service with the freshest produce and meat options. Especially the deli. No matter how big or small I ask my chicken tender sub to be chopped or the tomatoes diced, they are happy and willing to accommodate. They also have a full on, in house bakery for all your cookie, pastries, and party cake needs. The location itself is right off of a major highway and right next to a gas station making it very easy to find. If you stop in, make a point to get yourself a sub from the deli, splurge in their one of many buy 1 get 1 deals, or treat yourself to a free cookie from their bakery. read more

Hands down one of my favorite Publix's in the area! The parking is simple and easy, conveniently set up to help customers get in and out. Walking in this publix is very clean and the staff is so sweet, always with big smiles on their faces. Today I went in for a quick pre-beach snack stock up, and I found everything I needed. My husband and I skipped breakfast so we went in for a buffalo chicken tender sub with bacon and Gouda cheese, honestly one of the best pub sub I've ever gotten. The staff is lovely and very helpful. We live closer to the publix across the way from century village but I drive out of the way just to go to this publix, so clean and just all around a great facility. read more

This review is based on my deli experience. Decided to go for the sub promo Publix was offering recently. You were able to get any sub for $5.99. When I got there I was waiting behind a gentlemen who was also waiting to be helped. After I waited a couple minutes, he told me I could go ahead and he left. No one even looked up at us to ask if we had been helped. I gave the lady a couple more minutes and then she finally asked if I needed help. I started my order, which was chicken tender sub (the best) but I wanted it tossed in chipotle sauce. She looked at me confused and I asked again if I could please get it tossed in chipotle sauce. She then went to ask someone else about tossing it and she told her no? So the lady proceeded by putting chipotle sauce on top of the tenders, at this point I didn't even want to bother arguing. I thought all Publix supermarkets were the same, but I figured out that depending on the location, there is a difference in the layout of the supermarket and the prices on certain items. This Publix supermarket, located in a shopping center in Pembroke Pines, was nice and very clean. A few of the employees who were stocking the shelves warmly greeted me as I walked past them. There is a small seating area by the deli, which was a first I've ever seen in a Publix supermarket; but I guess it's convenient to some people who want to get a quick bite for lunch or relax for a while and surf the web on their device. read more

I will never ever come to a Publix ever again. The worst part is the deli. On three separate occasions they have gotten my online order wrong or not complete. Then I have to stand in long lines to fix the errors they make!!! Today was the last straw. I placed an online deli order to be filled at 5:30 pm. I came to the store at 6:30 pm and it wasn't filled. When I asked the person at the deli where my online order is he told me that they had not started working on the online orders yet. What????? What's the purpose of doing the online order? This review is for the bakery: When I pay for expensive "gourmet" cupcakes from the bakery it would be nice to actually receive something that is at least relatively fresh. I would have been happier with some prepackaged low end cupcakes. The cake portion was hard and dry and the frosting was crunchy and dry. The cookie part of cookies and cream were soggy. The cream part of the Boston Cream Pie cupcakes were actually solid. Imagine a gigantic cupcake with the "creamy inside" being the size of a peanut M&M, and SOLID. The bottom of the cupcakes were soggy meaning they actually began separating they were so old. Again, these were not prepackaged, they were "fresh" behind the glass. Absolutely disgusting. It almost ruined my wife's birthday experience and that motivated me to write a review in anger. I'll be shopping for my bakery needs elsewhere. The store otherwise is clean and great read more

This is the best publix to ever go to!! Everyone knows you by name and from the moment you step inside to the moment you leave, you feel like a local celebrity. I have never encountered a rude person in this particular publix and it shows the hard work that the store manager puts in. I love how clean and organized it is, and rarely do i ever go home with a raincheck, because they go out of their way to find it in the back for you! There are weekly sales to that always has me walking out with more than I bargained for, but it never goes to waste. Only thing is, I wish they had more cashiers open. So i was in the publix bakery this week to order a birthday cake for my husband.I always use publix because they do a good decorating job and their cake is very good.When i came in this last week i was ordering another cake for my husband same time of year same date.I asked if they could put a poker decoration on the cake for me kind of like they had done the previous year.The girl at the counter who was the bakery manager told me they do not do freehand cakes or anything like that.I told her that they had indeed done one the year before and it was a tall slim spanish speaking fellow that had done it.She was rude and said we have never had anyone like that since she had been there which was at my husbands birthday last year.And i told her that they had because i come the same time every year.Another employee said that she knew who it was and still the manager said no.I was very upset by her attitude pretty much calling me a liar.Also saying that they had never done cakes like that in past or now.Well they did because i bought one.So now look publix if you cant keep up to speed the next year and do nice cakes instead of cookie cutter cakes maybe you need a new bakery manager.All the while the other employees were looking at me like they knew i was right.So now i will be buying all of my nice cakes which i did pay extra for at other places as will all of my friends and military spouses.BUH BYE PUBIX!!!!!!!! read more
