This Publix is nice. Whenevet I come here, they are not out of anything I need. The store is kept clutter free. I often buy a Pub Sub and the deli does an excellent job. Everything in the subject is fresh as can be. Inlike their variety of ice cream brands. I am an ice cream fanatic and I am able to find new flavors often. I appreciate the many bogo's they offer. The people who bag groceries are very cheerful. I do wish they had more selection of cheeses. Also, I would like to see more exciting types of bread, such as ciabatta. read more

Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. Poor customer service and food quality, My advise to consumers is to be wary and shop at your own risk, food is not so fresh or close to expiration(check the expiration dates on your dairy dept. and bakery dept., packaged foods etc.), fruits and veggies are soft and squishy and look like they have mold on it, I was given a piece of hair when I asked for a sample of turkey in the deli, The deli has a putrid smell to it, when an item is on sale I was rung up the regular price, misplaced sale signs on certain items. This store is not concerned with the consumers' health and safety. Poorly managed store location. employees lack courtesy and drag their feet with employees not treating customers as a priority. We as consumers pay their salary and Publix is an employee owned company. Karina as a store manager does not do her job properly and she even told me she does not read the poor reviews on google and yelp that her store receives. They sell expired items or items close to expiration. I pointed out expired cookies to Karina and the next week they are still there. I saw an expired can of beans as well. Mismanaged store to say the least. It seems as if the quality of food matches the quality of employees working there and they cater to consumers who are on that lower grade standard , sad to say truth be told, so at this location if the consumers do not care then the employees do not care.... poor attitude. With their arrogant attitude the employees are very unapproachable. Considering the demographics and socioeconomics of the area they are not educated nor of a higher standard. This Publix is always clean and is usually not crowded. The aisles are always organized and the seafood is fresh. The bathrooms are always tidy which is great!! I love that Publix has provided me a scale so I can weigh myself. It's a routine every time I enter, use the scale then shop. read more

We don't have Publix in Arizona and I needed a few things while in the area. The parking lot was easy to navigate and plenty of spots. The store was clean and I was told I needed to get a famous "pub sub". While I didn't get one on this trip the line was long so I know they are onto something. You've gone to one Publix and you've seen them all. Or at least that's how it seems when they're running rampant all over Florida. I have to say that this isn't the case with this one. I was astonished as to how genuinely nice the employees are at this location. Typically anytime I cross the county border, there's a change in behavior compared to Dade, but it's never to this extent. Everyone was smiling and helpful. It made Publix shopping a pleasure. Admittedly I didn't intend to go to Publix, but I was across the street at Trader Joe's, and well, since they were out of a few necessities, I went right on over. Have to say aside from the employees, something worth nothing is that this Publix looks small from the outside and is actually spacious inside. Not to mention that the layout is spread out. I would definitely come back if in the area. Just have to get used to the fact that it looks completely different from my nearby Publix store. read more

I took my mom here to get her prescription filled. We love JT aka Johnny. He needs to be commended on a job well done. Seeing him is like entering Cheers. He knows everyone's name. While my mom was doing her thing, I headed over to the coffee bar. My Carmel Vanilla Latte was better than the expensive coffee shop. This store has some low ratings. Here is why... if you are impatient and frustrated with the slow moving traffic, find yourself another Publix. It is also smaller than the new one on Miramar Parkway. There is a certain bagger that works here that always makes me feel good. Even on my bad hair days, he manages to tell me that I look good. This is the Publix that you want to come to when you have all day. When you don't mind carts blocking isles. You can even take a nap while waiting in line behind one or two people. This location is close to Century Village. I've had some memorable experiences here. Ones that I really don't care to repeat. It's not that the food isn't good. They have well stocked shelves too. When I so venture in, I pick up ten items or less and plan for 10-15 minutes in the express line. It's rather sad because this Publix us central to so much in Pembroke Pines. The Pharmacy allows UNSUPERVISED TRAINEES to administer vaccine shots. I was there for a 2nd Shingles Vaccine on 27Feb24. No one was present other than a female TRAINEE and a guy, who was busy with a customer. She did not identify herself as a Trainee and she administered the shot to my arm. Next day, I called to complain to a female who identified herself as the Manager of the Pharmacy. I complained that the TRAINEE jabbed my arm with the needle and I winced aloud 3 separate times in succession that I felt the pain. It felt like the needle point had touched my bone as I'm a slim person with thin arms. I was in pain, similar to bone pain, that evening and that night. I have had all my vaccines at any Publix Pharmacy location as I often shop at Publix, but would never go to any Publix Pharmacy again as they use UNSUPERVISED TRAINEES to administer vaccines. read more

No one will probably read this from the actual store or even care but isn't publix shopping supposedly a pleasure!? I have been coming here for 10 years and working from this location for about 6. Forget that I am pregnant and a customer, I am an instacart shopper and our deli meats are always pre sliced and put in the pick up counter, not at this publix. We always have to go and ask a deli person and or wait the line to pick up. TODAY has surpassed the point of stupidity. I was waiting patiently for her to finish slicing up some cheese for the guy in front maybe five minutes all while she was telling the lady how she leaves at 4 and someone should come in but she's gonna leave when she's done with this customer completely disregarding that I am standing there. She finished at 3:50 says and I quote "goodnight everyone" and just leaves. I call publix three times and all three times manager is supposed to come over and doesn't. The guy comes from back after he's done cooking and it takes two seconds to hand me off my things. I continue shopping for customer when I notice a manager asking another to go check and see if the instacart driver got her deli meat, I answered yes I did and walked away. When I was checking out the manager who was asked to go check was just standing around eating shit. The most unprofessional, disrespectful and stupid experience I have ever had at this publix. Originally I wanted to get it from a cake design studio but last minute they canceled on me ;( so what's a bday girl to do???!! Go to her trusty publix bakery that's what!!! First of all they're plain white buttercream cake is my favorite. Everything about it is perfect not too sweet, not too moist, just simple and right.Sometimes I'll buy it by the slice...yes they sell them by the slice and there's a slice residing in my fridge...don't judge me ;) I ordered a 2 tiered cake with a fruit filling with 1 day and half of notice and they didn't even bat an eye, these people are pros! I had one tier vanilla and the other chocolate. The filling was peach and strawberry and bavarian cream. The outside was butter cream because let's be honest their buttercream is the best. They had it ready for me on time and in a huge protective box. They helped me get it all the way into the car and even macgyver my passenger seat so it would leveled. Let me just say it blew my expectations away. It was exactly what I wanted. It's truly the prettiest cake I've ever seen. Not only that but it was DELICIOUS! I moved to the area a few months ago and this has become my local Publix for convenience. I've overlooked that this isn't the most modern store, the selection of products is oftentimes lacking, and customer service can be hit or miss. Today I went at around 8 a.m. to pick up a few items including some BOGO offers which were advertised in the weekly flyer. Imagine my frustration that many of the BOGO items were absent from the shelves. No mayo, no chocolates, and no Pinot Noir wine. I managed to get the last two bags of mini San Marzano tomatoes by sheer luck. Looking for a fresh organic chicken? Not one to be found. In fact, the meat counter was perhaps 2/3 stocked. All of this on a Saturday morning, one of the busiest shopping days of the week. If this had been a random event, I wouldn't have given it a second thought and written it off as bad luck. Unfortunately, this is a regular occurrence at this store and after today, I will be looking for another place to shop. read more

The store is clean as most of the Publix stores I have visited. There is a pharmacy located in the store. The staff are friendly and fast to get your scripts filled. I decided to take a look and came across the the deli yet the 3 staff members were busy talking and laughing while I stood there, not one of them offered to assist or even acknowledged me. then along came this so called manager named Hanz who rudely said "what do you need bud" i was immediacy alienated by his abrupt approach, frankly I found him rude and unprofessional. I don't normally review grocery stores, but this Publix more than deserves to be called out for their phenomenal customer service. There are 2 Publix's closer to my house than this one, but I deliberately go out of my way to shop here because the employees are so friendly and helpful! On today's visit every employee that I passed by acknowledged me, said hello, and asked if I needed any help finding something. When I went to the fresh fish area (not sure what that part of the grocery store is technically called), the guy who helped me recognized me since he also helped me on my last visit and asked how the burgers I bought last time were. He proceeded to help me with my salmon pinwheel order and told me to enjoy. On a side note from service, their fish and fruits are always fresh and delicious! Lastly, when I was leaving, the guy who packed my groceries insisted on walking me to my car to helping me put them in the trunk. He was so friendly and approachable. As usual, I was awed by the customer service here. This was not an isolated incident but has happened almost every time I've been to this store. It's difficult to make such a large chain store feel like a neighborhood market. This Publix feels like just that. Their service is truly leaps and bounds better than any other Publix I've been to and their hard working employees deserve to be recognized for it. Way to go Publix on Pines & Flamingo! read more

This store is a standard Publix. The size is medium, it is reasonably stocked (though no gluten-free items) and it is super clean. People are extremely friendly and I love coming here because everyone smiles and say hi to each other (oh, Florida! How I missed thy warmth!!). I used to love Publix cupcakes (you know the ultra sweet kind with artificial flavored cream on top? Yeah, you know what I'm talking about). If they offered that in a gluten-free version, I'd purchase in a heart beat. But for now, I'm just going to try to get my friends to buy them and eat them so that I can live vicariously through them. I love this Publix, the employees always say hi to me and ask me if I need anything. One time I was looking for something and 3 of them came to help because they couldn't find it but they were so determined to help. I had to work with Randy the other day from Deli and I called him last minute for platters I needed and he was so kind in making it happen. I have been reading reviews from other people who visit the Publix and don't like it but I come here once a week and have never had any issues. I even just used the pharmacy and it was great. I would recommend this Publix to anyone. read more

This has been "my Publix" for a year now and I'm pretty pleased with it. It's not the biggest, and there are a lot of items at other Publix stores that are larger that you may not find here but they have all the basics. The store manager is really nice. He always remembers me and orders me cases of Acqua di Nepi whenever it goes on sale. Diann, the deli manager is sweet too. She also remembers me and even follows up (if I've hosted a party or something). Shana and Marion, in the deli, are also really nice. The young man that works in the pharmacy (who's name I can never remember) remembers me by name, and when he sees me waiting he grabs my prescription and has it waiting by the time I'm at the checkout. My biggest complaint is that there are a lot of kinda' obnoxious and/or mean elderly people that shop here, but that's obviously not anything Publix can mitigate. All in all I have to say that it's nice to have friendly people remember you, and the store has quite a few people who will if you frequent it. I'm a pretty loyal Publix girl (except when I cheat on them with Whole Foods) so this will be my store until I move away. read more

I'm very upset with this Publix! I shopped here the weekend after thanksgiving and the store was not very full but there was NO service! I purchased over $350 worth of groceries and I had to bag them myself then had to take them to my car and load myself. I paid a very high price to shop at Publix, I expect service! The bag staff were outside on their phones or picking up the mats at the doors. What about the shoppers still in the store... you can pick up the mats later! Someone can call the staff from the outside....but no, the management at this store is very lacking. This is a shame! This store has A LOT of competition around it. Mgmt should be working to strive for better customer service to keep customers. Not encourage them to go elsewhere like I have. read more

This store is next to a retirement community and is on their trolley route which means in the early part of the day there are a ton of elderly people there. I don't want to sound disrespectful but if you are trying to run through the store to pick up a few items they make it very difficult as they tend to park their carts in the middle of the aisle and not let anyone through. If you can go when the trolley isn't running or later in the evening it is much less frustrating. That being said, the staff are very friendly and helpful and always greet you as they pass. The selection is pretty good but they do tend to run out of sale items quickly. The bakery department is not the best and there is usually a long wait in the deli section. I go to this store though because they sell items (especially ethnic) that I cannot find at any other Publix location. read more

Customer service at this location is bad. I stopped here for a few things on 5/23/17 at about 1:00 PM. The 10 items or less line was backed up. We all waited for about 10 minutes while a new employee struggled to serve just one customer (with no help). All of the other lanes were also backed up. Several of us gave up and went to the customer service counter to pay for our items. One man was upset and just wanted someone to ring up the one item he was trying to purchase. The service manager was sarcastic and passive aggressive with him. When he left and was out of earshot, she said "I hope you get in a crash, wherever you are going." The others working at the counter laughed. I understand that dealing with the public can be tiring. However, wishing someone harm is never acceptable. I hope someone from Publix reads this and addresses the situation. I recommend that customers choose a different Publix location or a different supermarket altogether. My experience at this publix is normally fine, however this was my first time using coupons at this location... Me and my best friend decided to coupon together since I'm a newbie... with that being said, at the beginning of our transaction the customer service manager was called to explain the rules... Which were you can only get 8 of the same item per person, per household...this was fine with us because we don't live together.. As you can see, after everything had been rung up and my friend was paying for his items the customer service manager came over going through our bags and reprimanding the cashier for allowing us to get more than 8 items, after we reminded her that she stated per person, per household, she continued to say it doesn't matter your together, even though we live in two different households dating two different people and only driving in the same car to the store, she continued to say she doesn't care, she'll let us keep the items this time but next time we won't be able to shop together... I then walked away to get a raincheck, only to come back and see her going through the bags, refunding items.. I guess after I left, she had a change of heart... I'll be calling corporate early Monday morning... And now I'll be shopping at publix in Miramar commons. The store manager is great, thought. read more

Horrible customer service , yesterday I went to Publix to buy a lotto I went with my two daughter so the lady at the lotto cashier her name is chantiel she ask me for my ID , while I was looking for it she was saying girl you look younger than 18 you going to get me in trouble know I look young I know I do . but she was laughing and honestly been a bully and she even ask her coworker " do you think she looks older than 18 " and both were laughing I really felt really uncomfortable however there were customer at the line , so I gave her my id and am like look im 28 and with two kids , she kept saying that aint mean nothing if you have kids and she kept talking to her coworker and laughing. one of the customer that was next to me he told her I doesn't matter if she looks young is even better and she's showing you her id . and chantiel started laughing and saying mmm yeah ok . the store is normally very clean, everyone is super helpful, the sushi department is great and the entire store is normally fully stocked. the pharmacy could be friendlier. just one word to the wise, if you're in a hurry this is not the Publix for you. this Publix is located near century village. my meaning is if you're here from any time from open till like 5 o'clock the store will be filled with the elderly. don't get me wrong i like the elderly and respect them but this market will drive you mad when its full of octogenarians. read more
