While this isn't my go to location, it's one I frequent because of how close by I live. The Floridian in me loves Publix because you can always find something good at them, this one is no different. Their fantastic customer service, nice variety of products, & consistently fresh produce checks all the marks you want in a grocery store. They uphold the high standard of quality here that you expect when visiting any of their stores. I especially like that they're up to date with new product releases; I generally have no trouble finding things that are seasonal or limited edition. The deals are standard across all Publix stores so that's another good thing to look for while shopping. They're always running great BOGO & discount offers. Also be sure to get their app if you're a regular because you can find even better deals there. The shelves stay stocked & there's plenty of employees around that offer help. The store is kept tidy & clean. I appreciate that food cases are always wiped down & coolers/products are kept at their proper temps. In general, it's smart to check expiration dates on anything you buy. While It doesn't happen often, you can definitely pick something up that's either out of date or very close to the expiration. This isn't a common issue here but it's always something to be mindful of. If I'm ever passing by or need something in a pinch I know this Publix will usually have it. There's plenty of space in the parking lot & it's in a convenient location so that's also a plus. I don't have any complaints, in fact, I suggest stopping by if you need a new grocery store. read more

I genuinely love this Publix. Out of all around, this has consistently been my first choice. However, today's experience warrants further review. I was doing what we do minding our business, shopping and as I'm walking along, I hear this woman worker practically yelling at another employ about how "incompetent and tired of this" she is of his work. Like zero shame. I'm sure all around could hear. I walked away so upset another employee stopped me and asked if I was ok. I said this woman just yelled and disrespected another employee, I need to talk to a manager. Would you happen to believe the manager was this lady. Of course, treating employees like they're less then. So I got to tell manager KRISTEN all about how her behavior was inappropriate to her face. If any higher ups see this, please reach out to me. Really close to my house so this is my go to location. Always clean and great customer service! I've ordered a few cakes from here and never had any complaints. Only thing that they need to work on is the sub area. Sometimes people are not trained as far as what type of meat goes on what sub for the specialties. read more

Publix always has some really great deals. They aregreat at getting me to buy more than I intend to. I love their sales and I have such great bogo promotions. The staff is always really helpful and friendly. I enjoy their subs immensely. They are always loaded with me and fresh vegetables. I like the Publix top round roast beef most. They have a terrific pharmacy here. The pharmacists and technicians are so helpful. Overall, Publix is a nice place to shop and has a very wide variety of products and brands to shop. read more

This is for the pharmacy. It is terrible. I have thought this for a while but was waiting to review so Publix could prove me wrong. I keep coming back here because I could walk over if I had to, and I have just for exercise. It is that convenient. But it is a big problem for me when I think Walmart has a way better pharmacy than yours. I am not a fan of Walmart, but I can say they know how to run a pharmacy. This Publix hardly picks up the phone. They never, ever have enough staff. You will always see a line at the pharmacy here. I have made four requests, four months in a row for auto refill. I did this through the phone twice and when that didn't work, I asked the pharmacy technician. And it still doesn't work. And worst of all, I had to pick up a very strong pain medication for a relative. The pharmacist at Publix did not advise me before taking the medication. That could be a real safety issue. I am real surprised Publix pharmacists do not take the time to consult with the patient on the most strong pain medication out there when there are many dangerous interactions. This is a really nice Publix store. I've always been very impressed with the parking lot and have been able to find decent parking. The store is immaculate and easy to navigate. I've also enjoyed talking to some of the employees here. They've always been friendly and forthcoming when you have inquiries. I have been coming here for 4 years and this deli never gets any better. If you want a pubsub go somewhere else. Its the slowest deli in all the land and none of the employees want to make subs. Its like they decide we will punish the slowest pub sub makes to be the person making subs. Its comical I even heard two other men talking about how they never come here because of how slow it is and every time they give it another chance they realize how they messed up by thinking things would changes. Any time that I have come to this Publix location, it is always a great time because of the employees and the cleanliness of this location. The parking lot is always kept clean and the carts that people leave out are always taken swiftly by their workers here so there are always spare carts for all guests looking to purchase groceries. The isles are always well stocked in this location and I have never had to look for longer than a couple moments because the products are always facing the right way so I don't need to be on the hunt for a certain product I am looking for. The isles are always very clean and I have never seen a damaged product on a shelf either. The workers are very friendly and will walk you to an item that you may be looking for, no matter what. If I am in the area, I will go to this Publix, however it is out of my way so the occasional stop when I have to make it, always makes me feel happy because of how nice and spaced out this location is. The parking is real great as well, with it being angled parking, as well as one way lanes (people still don't always follow it but oh well). The interior of this Publix is always very well lit and spotless clean, I have never felt gross looking on any shelves, as they are always basically shining because of how clean they are. The staff members here are always so happy and go above and beyond in terms of customer service as well. The amount of products they have is also great, and I am glad this location carries a few Spanish products that I am unable to find at my Publix usually. The prices are also great and the coupons and weekly ads they offer always make me want to come back because of the money I save. The bakery is also very friendly and always stoked up with cakes and assorted other products that I just need to grab one of each time I am here as well! read more

Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I was really excited for this Publix to reopen. They were closed for a total rebuild. I was hoping that it would be more modern, maybe offer a place to sit and eat or even be more like a Greenwise. Unfortunately , this Publix is not very exciting. At my visit today I was looking for bread crumbs. I asked 3 different associates and was sent to three different isles. The first 2 people were literally clueless. Today's experience did NOT make shopping a pleasure. Though clean and neat I found the store not to be inviting or exciting. With so much competition around I would expect more. Prices are also more expensive than other local markets close by. Not my 1st choice for grocery shopping. read more

If you are Jewish, forget about Publix for your holidays needs. My Publix had 10 items . No baked goods, no flour. No Macaroons. If you have a wedding, bar mitzvah or bereavement, they have nothing related to Jews in the card area. Shame on you for doing this year after year you give us one shelf. I spend over $15,000 a year and will have to now start shopping at Walmart. I guess we're not that important to your company, customers should boycott you during the holidays . I guess Publix doesn't think there are Jewish people in Pembroke Pines well there are. This specific publix has been around for a long time. Usually is the location I choose to go to.. I decided to order from the deli here for there 5.99 sub specials and picked the Miami dolphins sub. You can order it online and choose to pay for it at the store or online. When you get to the deli area they have a specific area where the finished orders are placed with the name you left on the order. Which I felt was very convenient and you didnt have to wait in a line to pick up your ready food. Every where is clean and packed away neatly. I love going to publix for there buy one get one free items. That is literally majority of what I get. Most employees if you walk by them will always ask how are you doing and if you need anything. I never really had an issues here but sometimes there sale signs would be placed on a wrong items or a few wrong items and majority of the time publix would then give you the price for what the sign says which I appreciate. read more

Up in the Pembroke Pines area, I was far away from my usual Publix. I only stopped at this store because it was nearby to other stores I had gone to earlier on in the day. That and I needed a few groceries for a chicken noodle soup I was going to make. I have to say that aside from parking, this isn't your typical Publix, and I mean that in a positive way. The staff they have at this store is some of the most pleasant and helpful I've ever encountered. Everyone was so polite, greeting customers with smiles and offering to help. Turned out to be a positive for me as I was in and out. I had someone help me locate some items, and well, off I went and paid. Easy peasy. read more

My go to Publix... sad when it closed to renovate, but happy for the fresh look it has now. Staff are friendly, and usually I don't find it as crowded as some others. Maybe because it's not on a main road, and primarily the local neighborhood uses this location. I've found that since it re-opened they are fully stocked and it's well maintained; it's organized and clean. I went to another Publix and was disappointed when I couldn't find steak (granted, I understood because it is Valentine's Day), but when I came here they were fully stocked. While a bit pricey some may say... it's for the most part a one stop shop place. You can find most whatever you need for your weekly grocery run. Love!... their fried chicken and subs... and baked their goods.... carrot cake and coconut custard pie (wish they had this all the time, I always look out for it). The store on Taft and Hiatus continues to get worse. The produce today was very bare and what they did have was old. I notice lately it looks like they are going out of business where they line the shelves with a single row of items out front and when you take one you see there is an empty space behind it all the way to the wall. This Publix continues to disappointment me. Two issues, one the pharmacy likes to throw your change on the counter instead of handing to you. Second, the store manager allowed a sick employee to work the register. Wiping his nose while ringing up your groceries, the manager didn't see anything wrong allowing the employee with COVID work the register. The store has gone to downhill. No longer the family neighborhood store rather now the hood. read more

One of my favorite supermarkets. They're motto is "where shopping is a pleasure" and they live up To it. They go out of their way for customer service. All employees know which aisle any item is and most of the time they we will take you where the specific item is located. The check out cashier always asks if you found everything fine and the bagger usually offers to take the groceries to your car for you. Some of my favorite items: Publix subs- very good. They are known for their subs and a lot of people come especially to Publix for lunch or dinner for a meal. My favorite is the buffalo chicken sub in which they take their fresh fried chicken, dice it up and slather buffalo sauce over it. Deviled eggs - some of my favorite deviled eggs. I sometimes come her just for these. I will even have them as a snack for some quick protein even if I've already had breakfast. I like the packages with green olives better than black olives. read more

I was in a rush so I stopped to pick up a salad for lunch. Thinking I would be healthy and eat lunch, I grabbed what looked like a fresh salad. To my dismay, when I got to work and was ready to eat lunch about an hour later, the only part of the salad that was fresh were the toppings. Have you noticed that recently their quality, for instance, in the produce department is going down? The prepared melons are not ripe and taste like cardboard. Their Greenwise potatoes are full of sprouts even after a day of purchase. And when you take off the sprouts you peel the potato and it is black and bruised from bad handling. The mushrooms do not have an expiry date so you will see the employees moving the fresh ones to the back, and moving the dated ones to the front. Finally, I decided to check on the expiry dates on certain products- at least 25% are expired and had to be returned. This is my "neighborhood" Publix. It's conveniently located on Hiatus Rd between Taft St and Johnson St. The parking lot is usually full, I guess because of the other businesses next to it. I rather go there in the early morning because it's usually empty in the mornings...weekdays. On the weekends it's usually packed. I usually have a good or okay experience when I go, but today I was annoyed by their customer service. I went to the express lane, where it's 10 items or less...I have 8 items in my cart....but I also have a few EMPTY water gallons, to fill up on my own at the water machine. As I walked up to the counter the cashier....older lady....didn't even look at me but looked at my cart and said"it's 10 items or less, do you have 10 items or less?" Of course I was supper annoyed and proceeded to count the items out to her....EIGHT!...I have EIGHT items. So she says what about those gallons of water, did you count them too? Uhhhmmm nooooo....because they're empty and I am going to fill them up at the water machine after I get my groceries. So she was like uh ok. So that was that. As I finished filling up my gallons of water, I took a few steps and stopped with my cart almost in front of the ice machine, which is next to the water machine. I stopped to look for my keys that were inside my purse so it literally would have taken me about a minute to find them and pull them out. As I'm standing there, one of the employees rushes up behind me with a cart full of ice, I guess he was going to unload it into the ice machine. He rushes behind me and tells me to move because he needs to get to the ice machine. No manners whatsoever. I see this guy there all the time, and honestly isnt the friendliest of them all, but at least ask in a nice way. It seems like every time I'm using that little area where the water machine is....the workers have to go and start doing something...lay down a carpet (early mornings)....or get, fill ice...it's like...can you please just wait till your customer is done? I thought Publix was "where shopping is a pleasure?' Well today was not so much pleasure. Ok so having said that....all of that...lol.
