Special ad.

They play bait and switch on their specials. The mobile app and sign at the meat counter said "buy one get one free" for spareribs. But at the Register they said it applied only to frozen ribs. See picture. Then they had bacon on sale. It was outdated on June 26, but today is July 1. Selling outdated stuff. Their special steaks were outdated today. I don't mind their higher prices but they need to have good stuff - not outdated food or games. I told the manager - he did nothing. No rain check for the bacon. Useless.

The Publix Bakery has an amazing and creative staff. They have become our go to place for special occasion cakes and whimsical. Highly recommend.

Publix is always a win! We had an awesome frozen cheesecake for my friend's birthday while in vacation. Biltmore vanilla bean... yum!

Overpriced, but clean with super friendly staff. Large wine selection and you can create your own 4-6 pack of beer/ciders..

They've been in business since 1948 and I've been coming here since the late 1960's when my family…read morewould vacation in Cherry Grove. Even though as an adult I usually stay in Myrtle Beach , I still make a trip to Cherry Grove to walk the pier , walk the beach , and of course stop in at Boulineau's IGA. I make a point to come the day they do Chicken Bog in the Cafe , which I think is Friday. It is so good and so is the Fried Chicken. The Cafe has such a great selection , great price , clean dining areas , great service , and is very popular with tourists and locals. I stayed at the Golden Mile / Cabana Beach the whole month of February and came here twice. The grocery store has pretty much everything you need for vacation. Food , bathroom items , cleaners , fresh produce , fresh meats , grilling supplies , fishing supplies , beach items , you name it ! Upstairs they have a shop with all kinds of beach items like shirts , decorations , swimwear , hats , wind chimes , games , coffee cups , and on and on. The prices are fair for North Myrtle Beach / Myrtle Beach. Of course you have to go up to the observation area that looks like a lighthouse and look at the ocean and the surrounding area , it's free. So many memories for me here in Cherry Grove. One of my favorite places in the world and I lived in Germany for 4 years in the Army and traveled Europe in the 80's. It will always be in my heart.

Fresh seafood , clean store and a variety of goods for everyone. Would recommend and tell friendsread more

Service and desserts are wonderful. 3 for 12 lets you try different ones. So that's awesomeread more

I had an absolutely terrible checkout experience at this store tonight, although the woman at the…read morebakery counter was delightful, helpful, and professional. (The photos show just how tense and unnecessarily escalated this situation became over a simple cake purchase. Three employees were essentially tag-teaming me over an incorrect charge that could have been addressed when I first pointed out the repeated scans--before Gary charged me and forced me to leave, examine the receipt, and come back inside. Instead, it took three employees about ten minutes to address a basic checkout mistake that should have been corrected in less than a minute. I started recording a video after a few minutes of them telling me I was wrong and them being rude, then suddenly they started being fake nice when I put my camera on, classic.) I had just gotten out of work and had hot takeout food waiting for me. I stopped briefly to purchase three cakes for a special occasion, advertised as three for $12. Gary, the cashier, rang in more cakes than I actually had, leaving the receipt full of confusing entries and corrections. I heard the repeated scans and immediately asked him, calmly and politely, to check. He would not scroll back to let me see all of the charges on the screen. Instead, he repeatedly assured me that I had not been overcharged, so I had to complete the transaction and wait for the receipt to print. Outside, I checked it and discovered that I was right. Despite all the corrections, I had still been charged $17.97 for three cakes advertised as three for $12. I went back inside and deliberately approached another cashier because I did not want to deal with Gary again, but he came over and continued insisting the receipt was correct. The second cashier also repeatedly told me I was wrong and claimed this was simply "how the receipt looks." She underlined different entries with a pencil and tried to explain that the $17.97 represented only one cake, which made no mathematical sense. I finally had to pull out my own calculator and walk two employees who handle money through the charges before they began recognizing the problem. The second cashier then rudely told me, "You're going to have to wait," dismissed me, and looked away. The way she spoke to and disregarded me was what started making me genuinely angry. When the manager arrived, he barely acknowledged me, side-eyed me, and acted irritated rather than concerned. By then, the cakes had been tossed around and shaken up during the ordeal, and I was too upset to want them, so I returned all three. At one point, Gary remarked that "life is too short." I replied, "Yeah, it is too short, and I don't have time for this s***." The manager focused entirely on that statement, threatened to have me removed and banned from the store, and shooed me away. I acknowledge exactly what I said after the situation escalated, but I began calmly and politely. One frustrated statement does not excuse ringing in more cakes than I had, refusing to check the transaction, repeatedly insisting I was wrong, dismissing me when I asked for help, or threatening to ban me. This ruined my evening. The hot food I had ordered was cold by the time I arrived to pick it up, and I left without the cakes I needed for a special occasion. I regularly shop here, but after this treatment and being threatened with a ban, I am uncomfortable to return and will tell my family and friends how I was treated. Gary has made mistakes on my previous transactions that I chose to let go. This time, I simply did not want to be overcharged. The employees escalated the situation through their dismissive and arrogant treatment, then acted as though I was the problem for questioning an incorrect charge. The manager's mafia-wannabe approach felt more like intimidation than customer service. The woman at the bakery counter was the only person who treated me with genuine kindness and professionalism. Frankly, she demonstrated better management qualities than the manager and should have his job. Corporate should review the register transaction, my receipt, and the complete camera footage. Mistakes happen. What made this unacceptable was the refusal to check, repeated arguing and dismissal, lack of accountability, wasted time, and threatening treatment from management.

If you're in the Myrtle Beach area and looking for great seafood, Platt's Seafood is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Shore Drive!

And listen... those honey butter hush puppies? Yeah, they don't miss. Sweet, soft, and just overall too good. It's one of those spots you can count on every time. Quick, good food, solid portions, and always worth it. Definitely my go-to when I'm in North Myrtle Beach.

First and foremost I absolutely hate writing negative reviews but sadly when it comes to writing…read moretruly honest reviews there will be times you have to write a negative one. This is obebof those times. This was my first time visiting this Walmart and it was not good Staff and Services: Staff were incredibly rude. They rolled their eyes and had bad attitudes of you dared to bother them with a question which happens to be a part of their job. There was also employees doing the shopping for customers and they almost ran instore customers over because they weren't paying attention or they was in to big of a hurry to care. Items: It's your basic Wal-Mart they have everything every single other Walmart carries. Everything from medicine in the pharmacy to basic necessities, infant clothes to adult clothes, food and drinks, household necessities to pet necessities, sporting goods and automotive. Prices: 0.50¢-$1500 it truly depends on what you are buying and how much you are buying. Cleanliness: The store was walkable, some spots made your shoes stick others made your shoes slip. Not a great combo at all. Overall Experience: Awful Rating: 2/5 Recommendation: If you have to come here okay, if not absolutely avoid it. I really don't recommend it to anyone.
