Better than most publix stores. Just wish they have a larger selection of organic.

This is my primary grocery store and I've been waiting to review it for the fear that the service may drop after the initial honeymoon period-but it hasn't! The excess employees standing around at the entrance to the registers have vanished, but the helpfulness and customer service of the remaining are still in tact. They really do have everything you could need, even if you decide to do some crazy detox diet for a week (ahem). Thanks Dr. Yunger (or should I say Hunger). They keep the store very clean and the free parking is a big perk. It's weird that you have to go up to exit and It kind of annoyed me the first few times, but I'm over it now-I've never waited to exit the garage (at least more than a car). The last thing I'll mention is this Publix reminds me very much of the Social Safeway in DC. I call it the Pick Up Publix-for all the singles-this is the Publix where you can easily pick up groceries and a potential date! Happy Shopping! :-) read more

It's no big deal. I found the parking very uncomfortable, thankfully it's free w/validation inside. It feels like a compact Publix.

first off, I really am happy to see this publix with great selection, wide aisles, well stocked and clean. But my review is based off the customer service that I receive at this location. I have been overcharged many times and each time I get the "I don't give a rats ass" treatment from the employees. The Publix Promise is if you are overcharged on any item, the difference is refunded and you get one of that item for free. Good luck trying to get Publix to live up to their promise. I have shopped here 7 times, and 4 times I have had customer service issues that has me dreaming of the long drive down dixie highway to Whole Foods in Coral Gables. read more

I too thought the intensity of the customer service would fade shortly after this Publix opened, but it truly hasn't. There are always plenty of employees around and they approach you before you can even ask for help! read more

Great location but not my go-to Publix. It is definitely a smaller and more urban set-up. I got a tres leches cake and it was rather dry and disappointing. All in all, I am still a fan of Publix and will return at least weekly for my groceries. read more

Very clean and organized grocery store! We came from New York and we were surprised with huge verity of food, especially Latin food and grocery! We love this grocery store and recommend this place to everyone! They have pharmacy, liquor and cafe outside on the right. Prices are better than expected! read more

This is our favorite publix. We really enjoy shopping at this location. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They always have a smile. And most importantly, its always calm unlike the other two Publix close by. Can't wait to shop there this weekend and check out there deals. read more

Love this Publix! A little smaller than the ones in the suburbs, but it has all of the same items. Very convenient if you're in Mary Brickell Village and a short walk from the riverfront. Short drive from Brickell Key. Parking garage adjacent/on top of it too if you need. Right next to metro as well. Love this Publix! read more

This Publix is the best I have been in. Im Biased because I live nearby, but the staff is very helpful and friendly. Its got the best beer selection of any supermarket around. If you like craft beer, then you can get it here - Harpoon IPA, Dogfish, Bells, etc. My only complaint with the beer is that its not really kept that cold. Free parking too. read more

Not the best produce section but has the essentials and offers plenty of 'Buy one get one free' deals which is nice and ends up being cheaper then Wal-Mart. It has a bakery, deli and seafood section so it's good for last minute shopping of any essentials. Just wish they had more fresh vegetables at a reasonable price! read more

This is my "Good Publix" where they have delicious sandwiches and pastries. But for the strangest reason I like this one a whole lot better because of the shopping experience. Well except when I go to the cash register... that s when I want to strangle the cashier for scanning every item and not missing (at least) one so I can pay for a cheaper price.... One of the most pleasant experiences I've ever had at a Publix. The layout always facilitates an easy shopping experience; the store is very pretty for lack of a better word; and overall it's always an amazing experience whenever I step foot in this place. While on my lunch break, I had the esteem pleasure of meeting a young lady by the name of Mee Mee who works in the sushi department. She made me a shrimp tempura and I must say, she made it with love. That was the very best shrimp tempura, I've ever had. She is very personable, warm, friendly and very professional. Every time I go to Publix on my lunch break, I have never seen her without a welcoming smile on her and she is always ready to serve! With such exceptional courteousness and professionalism, it is only right and deserving that I acknowledge her. read more

I was in the mood to cook. I drag my feet to the refrigerator after a long tiresome Saturday night and take a peek inside so I can start creating ideas as to what I want to prepare for dinner. As I browse I see Bud Light, Red Bull, Cranberry juice, water, & condiments all jammed together on the door. Hmph, nothing! Proceed to the freezer, some chicken cutlets, but I don't eat chicken, it's just for guest so I slam the door knowing I have to go to Publix! Don't get me wrong, I actually LOVE grocery shopping, I just didn't want to have to do it today. After unsuccessfully scanning the parking lot for a slot I almost had to go all the way around from 7th street to 8th street and back to 7th street and make a full circle to the underground parking lot (the one way streets make it a pain if the outdoor lot is full) but as I was about to exit I spotted someone pulling out and my luck turned for the better. Once I started walking in I felt my demeanor changed and my love for grocery shopping came out of hibernation; great this is going to be an hour experience now. One thing I did notice and will alter my choice of which location or what day to do my grocery shopping at next time was the customers present. It was filled with families, and "blue collar" workers, etc. I'm not being stereo typical, I'm proud to say my dad is a "blue collar" worker, but, through my experience, they seem to be a little more outspoken with their opinions and such leading to my feelings of choosing another Publix, solely because I don't enjoy being harassed while I'm doing my grocery; the stalking in the aisles and the "hey mami" comments I could go without. The Publix was very clean. The deli section took forever; hence many mothers with children, "oh let me try this, and that. Mom, I wanna piece too" just not my thing. I should've gone to the other Publix in Brickell, which usually consists of my demographics. Everything else was easy breezy and very pleasant. The store was packed with all items I needed, nicely and neat. And my cashier and bag boy were all smiles and we exchanged jokes. The bag boy performed magic as he managed to fit all the items I bought in to my Publix "go green" bag!! Bravo! The service was really pleasant so I may come back just because of that. Horrible customer service! Found mold on ham in a blister pack. They refused to take all but one of my printed coupons. When I asked to see the official policy and told them I familiarized myself with it online, they just shrugged it off. While the store manage was polite, he would not accept 75% of my coupons and didn't provide a copy of the policy to show me this was common practice. I have been going to this Publix for 2 years now, then this. After all the rude associates and constant changing of the coupon policy, I am done with this store, DONE! They wasted my time and ruined my good day. I just love the fact that they claim they are coupon friendly... haha, right. Another time I went and bought gift cards for my grandmothers and mother, as did my husband for his mother and grandmothers. The cashier looked at us with a nasty look and asked why what we were doing buying so many gift cards, in the rudest way possible. Months before that I went in to do my normal grocery shopping, coupons in hand. I get to the register and they refuse to take my competitors coupons. I walk out of the store and double check to make sure this competitor was on the list posted at the entrance of the store, and it was. About the only thing I can say that hasn't happened is items ringing up wrong. More than once I have felt like I over paid though, at least half a dozen times I have bought something that was already expired or expired within 3 days. Things that would normally have a month or more left till the expiration date. They told me if I wanted my coupons to be deducted, I should place them on the items they go with. Not a big deal, but she waited till I was done and ready to pay. She over heard me talking about the coupons we had for that transaction and still decided to wait so she could be rude with me. I hand her my coupons and she digs through my bags to make sure we bought the items that go with the coupons, she wasn't very kind about repacking the bags either, even the bag boy gave her a nasty look. Parking is a nightmare. I wish they would bulldoze this Publix and build a Winn-Dixie. read more

shopping is most certainly NOT a pleasure at this Publix location. Every time I go here I spend about an hour getting a few groceries because the staff is so slow and incompetent. The deli counter is by far the worst, I've never seen such terrible customer service in my life. There is usually 3-4 workers walking around the deli counter, however only one is ever doing anything. When you try to talk to the others behind the counter that are just standing there they say one minute and walk away and never return. When someone finally does help you (15 minutes later even when there is no line) they move so slow. It takes them 2 minutes to find the food you want and another 10 minutes to cut it, adding an unnecessary amount of time to your important shopping trip. The store is poorly mapped out and I have never seen 1 person walking around in order to help you find where you're going. IF you're lucky enough to get to talk to someone that works there, they have no idea where to direct you. Now to the checkout...another ungodly slow process. The checkout girls will sit and chat with the bagging boys and stop checking out to have their own conversations. The bagging boys puts 1 item per shopping bag not only destroying our environment but making you carry home 12 bags just for a few bought items. The checkout people will just decide to close down their stations after you've waited 10 minutes in line to say they're closed. There's on average 3 check out stations opened on a given day which is not nearly enough to service the volume of customers. Every time I go to this publix i have a horrible experience and waste much of my time waiting around. Thank you for nothing Publix and your deplorable service. read more

I used to love this Publix, I go every week, but now I'm having second thoughts because yesterday (02/20/2013) a friend of mine got robbed, he put down his cellphone on the counter near the entrance for just a quick second when suddenly one guy took it and threw it to another guy and then both ran away, the guard went after them but didn't caught them. After looking at the surveillance tape no one offered a solution just "that's bad you got robbed"; I'm not sure what else they could do, but maybe show some interest? like they care for their shoppers, something like "we'll notify the police or we'll be monitoring more carefully to look after those guys so it doesn't happen again", I dunno, something more comforting, or that's too much? I'm new to the area and think this is a nice neighborhood, that's why I feel it is a big deal. Maybe it's just a stupid phone but in the end is the feeling that you're not safe. That has never happened to someone I know in a Supermarket, please be aware of your surroundings, these two guys didn't look like thieves. I hope this was just an isolated case and doesn't happen again. :( read more

this place is a typical grocery store. it will have what you need. in San Diego, we don't have a publix so in the beginning, i didn't even know what this place was. just know at this location, parking is in the parking structure and you get it validated at the cash register. read more

I hate this location immensely! The customer service is non-existent and the food they sell is ALWAYS expired! I only frequent this location because I live in the area and the other one nearby is just as bad.I wish there was a Whole Foods in Brickell. I can't tell you how many times I have been to this location only to see a lot of food they're selling is expired. Not sure what the employees who are suppose to watch for expiration and best by dates are doing, certainly not their job! I always notify the employees when I see expired products but it doesn't seem like they care. A few times, I have told the employees that I noticed some frozen foods were expired and he said he'd take it away. I came back around to the aisle a few minutes later and there it was, back on the shelf! Some of them pretend they don't speak English in order to avoid talking to you. This location is so horrible! I think it should be closed down and a Whole Foods should be put in its place! This are always out of stock too or not put on the shelf when they have plenty in their backroom. Avoid this place if you don't want to get food poisoning and a headache every time you enter the store! BEWARE! read more

I came to your store, with my dog. which has documents that she is a service and an emotional dog. your employee I do not remember her name, came up to me and started shouting at me and very rudely to communicate with me. asking me tricky questions and not allowing me to buy food in your store. I went to tears and did not buy anything. I'm a pregnant woman and I should not be nervous. such a terrible relationship, I have never met anywhere. she seemed to be of prison or working there. I will tell in all instances about this case. and I will also sue her. I worry very much, which is very bad for my child. in your shop I'll be back in order to take notes from the cameras. I was at you on 09.25.2018 at 7-57pm happened in the department of dairy products. I do not know what you will do with the employee. but I will not stop until she is punished for her behavior. I think you understand the seriousness of the problem, the pregnant girl, the dog who had the documents were expelled from the store and insulted. read more

be careful when you buy Shell card from Publix, I purchase the $50 gas card and it did not work, now i lost my $ because Publix does not want to be responsible, they told me to contact the card company directly . read more
