I fell recently and can't walk as a result. I shop Trader Joe's all the time and particularly love their very reasonable fresh flowers. I wanted a bunch of their beautiful Lillie's to cheer myself up after my fall and inability to move about freely. I called Trader Joe's on March 20, asking Fred from Customer Service if a bunch of Lillie's could be delivered. I told him why I can't come into the store. They do not deliver. Fred took it upon himself, on his own time, to come to my home and deliver 2 bunches of Lillie's with a thoughtful and lovely get well card. I was truly touched. He went above and beyond. Trader Joe at any location is a place that I can never go wrong with! Always clean and well stocked with things I need and things I didn't know I needed! I popped in for coconut water and left with a little lunch tote that I filled with goodies to snack on for the rest of my walk to the beach. Yesterday we stopped by the South Beach Trader Joe's and shopped until we dropped. They have everything you need for the holidays and more. I love that they carry goods from so many other countries. We arrived early in the morning so the store was not packed. Everything is well organized. The store is kept so clean. They have a few employees walking around to help customers find whatever they are looking for. Our cashier, M.Shamanika, was very nice and helpful. I always appreciate that! We had to use 2 carts and they were full to the top. Luckily we have 2 freezers at home to hold some of it. Parking was easy because the garage is attached to the store and the elevator takes you down to the entrance where the carts are. Super convenient. Last, but not least, as I checked my receipt, I noticed that not a single item was over $8.99! My bottom total would've been double at the Big Box store with only one cart filled. I love Trader Joe's and I am glad there is one store finally in the area. The closest store to downtown Miami is about 35 to 40 minutes away. This one is about 15 minutes without traffic so plan ahead. Although I am very happy to have a store close by, this one is smaller than all the other ones I had visited. The parking situation can also be an issue. Thankfully, they give you one hour of free parking with validation so I have to be careful with the time I spend in the store. I believe is $3 an hour. Nowadays, I make a list of items to be able to be faster inside the store. Staff is friendly and store is clean and organized. Prices are always great at Trader Joe's. However, I just noticed an increase in prices. Some products went up to a dollar higher. Products are usually very good. I really enjoy their seasonal items and the extensive selection of cheeses. Lately, this store seems to be having problems getting shipments because they are missing many items and some of the refrigerators are almost empty. Hopefully, this problem gets better as things normalize a bit more. Wines are always a good item to get here since prices are reasonable and selection is very good. Always excellent service, great products and prices! I was so happy to have a Trader Joe's store close by. They are doing an amazing job during COVID-19 to make patrons feel safe while shopping. They only allow a set number of people in the store at a time, masks are required, hand sanitizer and wipes available and plexiglass dividers at the check out stands. Love how they have markers with fun messages on the floor outside for social distancing while waiting in line to get into the store. Also I have seen a couple of times when the line is long and it's hot, store associates give out water bottles to the people standing in line. read more

Such a pleasant Trader Joe's experience! This store is so spacious!! I came in around 2 PM and never felt like I was in someone's way or Vice versa which is usually the case for me at Trader Joe's. They even had the Brazil Nut Butter which is out of stock everywhere. Parking- you can park in the garage above the store which they validate at the cash register. To enter the lot, you must be on the northbound lane on West Ave. I missed the garage entrance and ended up parking in the outdoor ParkMobile lot behind the store, but they were nice enough to unlock the cart so I was able to take my groceries out to my car. read more

My favorite grocery store is finally in Miami. I love the cleanliness & variety here. There are so many healthy, & fast (frozen) food but healthy options here. This is Miami Beach's newest and best addition yet since they raved about it for years so it finally happened! The prices here can't be beaten for the quality of items offered and the location is great for both locals and tourists alike. I buy my vitamins and certain things here due to the fact the quality, price, and amount tops Publix, Walgreens, CVS, Target, and Whole Foods. They have a brand new parking garage attached so parking is easy and free since you get your ticket validated inside. The store is very clean and organized which is to be expected anyways since they're new. It has its own theme for Miami Beach which I happen to get a kick out of. Every time I shop here it's not crowded so you can get in and out in no time. There's always samples of food and drinks for shoppers to try out while they're shopping to enhance the experience. They have stellar plants, which I often buy and they have your needs covered with anything you could want. They're usually well stocked and offer quality products at a great price. You can park at the garage within the TJ's building and the first hour is free. It's convenient to park here as you're right there! There is street parking to pay as well if that's more your style. Finally the Europeans have invaded South Beach à la Trader Joes. I'm not going to lie I'm a Trader Joes nut, fanatic, you could even consider me a devotee. Even though love Trader Joes, I'm not going to wait in line for grand openings, but I'll definitely be there on the grand opening day. I go to Trader Joes everyday, I'm not kidding, and my favorite location is in Davie where my Fox News watching friend works. I didn't even know today was the Grand Opening of Trader Joes Miami Beach, it was just by chance I was driving by, so obviously I had to pop in. Unlike other South Florida Trader Joes, this location is insular, meaning it's a single building with 3 levels of indoor parking, I believe about 200 spaces. I was in a state of shock at how easy it was to drive in and park, especially with the high percentage of functionally challenged Miami'ans. If you go to WholeAmazonPaycheck down the street especially during rush hour, its hell on earth to park, hell on earth to shop, and hell on earth to leave. This is the biggest Traders I've even seen, including the locations I been to in Metro Atlanta, it's absolutely huge, and the aisles are extra-wide. I was pleasantly surprised as one of the Davie Location employee's is now managing the South Beach location, we had a nice short pleasant conversation then I continued "inspecting" this new location. I was shocked that the customer service and general behaviors of the employees were exemplary, I thought I was going to encounter the typical Pitt Bullish "Miamian" that you'll encounter working at the Pinecrest location. Either way, this place is a jewel, they pay well, they have excellent benefits, and their organic and gmo-free foods are incredibly affordable, this location is going to help a lot of peoples pockets in Miami Beach. FULL DISCLOSURE - I am NOT a TJ's person. I may be the only person on the planet that just does not "get" the TJ's hype, so take this review with a grain of (organic) salt. Larry S. and I were running errands and could have stopped at our favorite grocery store, Aldi, but we decided to take a little detour to South Beach to check out the new TJ's (owned by the same parent company as Aldi, by the way). I was actually pleasantly surprised that they had dedicated FREE parking, a rarity in South Beach! I have no idea how their garage passed muster with the building department though as it was TIGHT! If you drive anything larger than a Fiat, prepare to navigate very cautiously! I know TJ's cannot control who shops there, but my visit comprised the single largest collection of douch-y people I've encountered since the last time I went anywhere in South Beach! I know, it goes with the territory, and it makes for some good people watching, but UGH. If the store caught on fire, the toxic fumes from all of the various lip, boob and butt implants might cause a nuclear explosion! People aside, I find TJ's to be mostly processed junk food. The store layout is very disorganized as well. Example... they had several aisles of frozen stuff - dinners, dumplings, snacks, etc - down the middle of the store. The shelving on top had completely unrelated items - small bags of nuts, chocolate bars, lemon curd. Maybe it was just me, but I stood in front of the dairy case for a good 5 minutes, about to complain that they didn't have any non-dairy "milk" before I realized that I was staring at almond and coconut varieties. Messy! Chaotic! The one thing I do like about TJ's in general is the beer and wine selection and at this location, there just wasn't a great variety. Some people have noted that this store as well as the new Target in South Beach has higher prices than other locations. I agree with that assessment. I understand that rents are high in South Beach and the Miami Beach building department tortures business owners with relentless delays and pointless requirements before opening, but I thought the pricing was just meh. There was nothing that I felt was a good buy. Finally, the staff. Friendly. Too friendly? I am a misanthrope that cannot stand people, and I'm sure they imported their staff from outside of South Florida, but the CHEER! It was relentless. The cashier TALKED TO ME the entire transaction. He bagged my groceries, which I cannot stand (although kudos to him, his Tetris-ing of my items warmed the deepest cockles of my OCD). There were lots of people shopping there and I know everyone has been ecstatic about its recent opening, so obviously, TJ's is right up many people's collective alley. IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!! I anticipated this for soooo long! I would drive by every so often to make sure it was not open LOL I would take the drive to Dadeland and grab a few staples but since it's so far I wouldn't go often. This location is down the street from my job which I love. Also, parking is free in the garage which is a plus! I've been a few times and I leave happy every time except when they're all out of Cauliflower gnocchi :( The produce is fresh and I love how things are sold by item and not pounds. The layout is kind of confusing at first if you're a new-timer but once you get use to it you'll know where your "staple items" are. Trader Joe's has a lot to offer so I suggest taking your time to really look at everything and read the nutritional facts. This location does get packed because of course its the closest one for miles away so just make sure you don't go on peak hours and weekends if you're claustrophobic. read more

Trader Joe's has an avid group of fans, and I can't myself as one of them. So it was very exciting when I learned that they were finally opening on Miami Beach. For those of you who know and like Trader Joe's, this store rocks! After shopping at Publix and Whole Foods recently, I had to do a double take when my first bag of groceries at Trader Joe's was $16.82, an bunch of fresh produce and organic banana bread and yogurt and chicken and hummus and soup, an assortment that would have cost at least $30 anywhere else. Fresh ginger shots are $1.99 here. They are $4.85 at the get on Miami Beach and $5 at Whole Foods Another really nice feature is that on any visit here, the Trader Joe's staff lives up to its well-known reputation for super customer service and friendliness. In addition, for locals like me, you tend to run into people you haven't seen in a long time so it's a great social catch up up and down the isles as well. That's definitely a great place to do your grocery shopping! The best part about it is that the prices are awesome for the quality of products which you are getting! I don't remember when last time I spent more then $100 in Trader Joe's! And every time when I go in another stores to buy more or less the same products I pay almost double. Also it's very important that when you go shopping and you need assistance the staff is friendly and helpful! Okay, the staff is amazing, helpful and friendly - definitely 5 stars! 3 stars is for the quality of items at TJ... Love/hate relationship for me because the food is a hit or miss. I buy a LOT of raw almond butter and sometimes it's good, but many times it tastes stale... Langoustinos frozen - one package was delicious, second one was absolutely stinky and disgusting. Same for sardines in water and many other frozen or canned foods. Yes, they will easily refund if you bring back the bad stuff, but who has time for that.?! Trader Joe's has been opened in our neighborhood for less than a month and we've been trying many of their popular products. We've tried the frozen pork dumplings, the chicken tikka masala, mandarin orange chicken, Greek spinach pie and their cinnamon roll bread and we enjoyed all of them.
