I don't want to get stuck in a lane behind a person shopping for a delivery service or something. I visited this location a few times while working at some of the schools in the area. It's also located near some decent restaurants. The best thing about this location is the employees don't look at crazy for not being able to speak Spanish fluently or not speak it at all. Like at a lot of the supermarkets and restaurants in Miami. They have some pretty decent pastry items and deli items. That being the case I purchased the Homestyle Meatballs and Bowtie Pasta which was better than I expected. Also the portion size was big enough for 2 meals. I frequent this Publix every time I come visit relatives in Miami. And I've always had nothing but positive experiences. The cashiers are always friendly, courteous and professional (unlike many of the places I go to in NYC), the people at the deli are always nice (even though many times they're dealing with pushy annoying folks in a hurry). And the ones at the liquor department (on the 1st floor, near the entrance) are as sweet as can be -- I was even gifted a bucket for ice recently! read more

Things that I like have been discontinued. The dannon light and fit Greek yogurt don't have as many flavors as they used to. Certain items are not always in stock. The mangers and employees are always so helpful I couldn't ask for nicer people to deal with. read more

The Publix on Miller Road is clean and well-organized, and the staff is all super friendly and helpful. The prices are good, and there is a great selection of products. One thing my daughter and I love about this location (and most Publix's) is that they give out free cookies to kids at the bakery. My daughter will even stop watching YouTube just to come with me to the store and get one of these cookies. They've got both chocolate chip and sugar cookies with sprinkles to choose from. The bakery also has a ton of other yummy baked goods. The deli and prepared food sections are also top-notch. All in all, I'd highly recommend this Publix. Shopping was definitely a pleasure when I came here today! I was greeted upon walking in and their seafood looked fresh; not like the previous Publix location that I had to walk out of. The guy that helped me in the seafood department was super nice and attentive.The other staff that I ran into, spoke to me as I passed by them. This is what I call customer service! This is a two story Publix location. Although this location is a shopping plaza and has parking spots, this location also does have a parking garage under the store. So there should never be an issue with parking. When you walk in you have the option of getting on the elevator or the escalator. You're better off getting on the escalator because the elevators seemed to take forever but don't hold that against them. lol. The also have the shopping cart escalator like all of the other two story locations have. Other than that, it is your typical Publix. Stop by and visit if you are in the area. read more

My experience at this Publix has been nothing but horrendous. I bought wings at the deli and as I went to eat them I come to see they still have FEATHERS on them. This is the most disgusting thing that could have happened and I will not be going back to this Publix. Completely unacceptable. read more

I really love my neighborhood Publix, everyone is always so nice and engaging and truly go out of the way to help. My 3 star review today is for my daughters birthday cake. I ordered it in the shape of a # 1 for her first birthday, vanilla and fresh strawberry filling so I paid extra for that instead of just the plain buttercream. When we cut into the cake it's mostly a super thick layer of icing all around!!! Hardly no vanilla cake or filling at all!!! So basically at the end of the day I paid $50 for an icing cake. I really, really like this Publix location. It is brand new, and super clean & nice. The bakery items are always super fresh here and the produce always looks really good. All the staff have always been very helpful and friendly, except for one girl at the Customer Service counter recently. I didn't like her very much at all. There is covered parking available, which is a huge plus during the rainy summer months. The covered parking was a lifesaver with a newborn baby in tow!! This Publix is two floors, which just kind of makes it feel fun! There is also a Publix liquor store with decent prices, and they were even giving shots of Absolut during one of my visits. It happened to be after work around 5 pm, so this was most very well received! Score!! read more

Deli department has no sense of urgency and lacks customer service. What is the point of scheduling an order online in advance at this location? Just remove the service from this location please. On Multiple occasions I placed an order online for pick up and when I arrive it is never ready. The last time this happened I ordered a sandwich sub and it was not ready after 30 minutes of the promised time. Avoid the headache and choose another Publix cause shipping was definitely not a pleasure Update 8/8/19: Gave the Deli Department another try. I ordered my sandwich wrap at 11:30AM online for pick up at 1:30PM. Around 12:40PM a gentlemen called me to say there is no spinach wrap available (weird thing to say at a grocery store) and I opted for the tomato wrap instead. I arrived to the store at 1:40PM and the sandwich wrap was not done. At this point I asked to speak to the Deli manager and explained what happened. She was apologetic and someone made my wrap. Can't believe this is still happening. I'm not sure I'll give them a third chance. read more

I LOVE PUBLIX ! First of all, I have been coming specifically to this public (and the one across from FIU since I can remember) I have so many good memories of coming to publix. As a child if some one of my family members was going grocery shopping, you could bet your ass they were taking me with them. Now as a young adult I still enjoy going grocery shopping (probably because i just love food) But still, I find that Publix's in general are very clean, and organized. The staff is usually friendly and they have good meat, fish, fruits, vegetables and even a decent wine selection. Love this Publix. There's a large parking lot, plus garage which is nice. This Publix enters from the second floor since it has parking below. It's new, nice and clean, large and open aisle ways. The layout is nice, almost the same as the other Publix I frequent. The staff is really nice, though I find the deli is often understaffed - the line can get pretty insane. I like to use this location for their catering ordering since parking here is easy, and there's a carvel and dollar tree in the same complex so you can get all your party supplies in this shopping complex. read more

As good as grocery shopping gets! Everything about this new and improved Publix is awesome. There's more than enough parking -- on the sides, in front, and underneath (no burning hot car or getting soaked in the Miami rain, yay!). It is always very clean and organized. There are plenty of employees on the floor, willing to go the extra mile for help. I can't tell you how many times they've gone in back to check if they have an item in stock that's not on the shelves, without me even asking. The deli and sandwich section gets very packed but the employees stay friendly and it is evident that they work hard to assist everyone as quickly as possible. The cashiers are always friendly and treat their customers very well. Baggers are also so nice and always smiling. There are never lines at the cash registers. I found it!! The BEST Publix in town! I had gotten to the point that I had given up on finding good customer service at a deli counter. The workers behind the counter at other locations are usually carrying on w their own conversations and are are pretty dismissive of their waiting customers. Not this location!! All the gentlemen back there were attentive, quick, and even took the time to announce to their waiting customers that they'd be w them soon. The seafood manager was helping his customers like you would only see in a commercial or something. I called the manager to let him know all this was noticed and to keep up the good work. This level of service does not happen by accident so kudos to Carlos Cruz and his efforts in making this my new home Publix (although it's not the closest one to me). read more

I love the new Publix! I've been waiting for it for so long. It is so nice and clean and it's got melons, lots of melons. I love ordering the subs online and they are always made to perfection. Definitely the best Publix in the Kendall area. It's clean, the employees are so sweet, and they speak English. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the deli is slow. The have convenient pre-sliced deli meats and cheeses you can pick up, but if you need something specific be prepared to wait in line for at least 10 mins. A great perk is the parking garage below the store, it's perfect for a rainy day or when it's too hot outside and you want to keep your car cool. I'll be shopping here for a long time. read more

This newly reopened publix is awesome!! It has covered parking which is absolutely great for south Florida hot and rainy summers! And as a mom with 2 young children the covered parking is really appreciated. The amount of employees is impressive bag boys and stock boys everywhere. All willing to help!! Managers visible throughout the store and almost every cashier lane was open on a Sunday 9 am. The shelves were stocked to perfection. Everything was so clean and organized. I think I did notice a few things were priced a little higher than my other publix though. This place made shopping truly a pleasure. read more

I recently visited this Publix with a gift certificate my employer gave us for Thanksgiving it was to be used the same way a personal check would. The manager on duty refused to listen and just kept repeating that Publix does not accept 3rd party checks he was rude and condescending refused to listen just kept saying no. read more

This newly renovated Publix is awesome. It has the friendliest, most helpful staff. Today I needed a lot of baby back ribs for a party. When I emptied out all of their stocked baby backs, Ivan from the meat counter told me to come back later in the day and he would have more for me. I went back a few hours later and sure enough they had plenty of ribs set aside for me at the meat counter. The supermarket has wide aisles so that cart traffic is not a problem even when its busy and the store is well stocked. read more

This used to be the Publix I go to for my family's birthday cakes but that's until today. I experienced the worst treatment of my life. If those are the kind of employee you are going to have the store would be better off with not employees at all. The lady at the bakery was extremely rude today during all my interaction with her and to make it worse after I chose my cake and ask her to please put a birthday message to my older daughter she simply said they don't do that service at all mind you my youngest birthday was last week and I bought the cake from them with a Happy Birthday message written on it. When I left I tried to speak to a manager but the two people that were there didn't even asked me what happened one of them just walked straight to the bakery so I simply left and went to the Publix on Bird Road and 79th (I believe) where they wrote a message on a cheesecake with not complains because they didn't have the cake I want it. This is my local Publix and I've been here plenty of times. Now normally I don't feel obligated to review Publix because it's known for quality, but today I was beyond impressed! In the deli no less! For starters, Gaston made me the best Pub Sub I've ever had. While the deli can be a madhouse, he handled the chaos, all the while focusing on the customer. Super impressed. Where shopping really is a pleasure!!! I love this publix. So convenient for me. It's nice and new and the staff is great. They have covered parking which is great for Miami weather. Also another lot across that is not covered. I have never had an issue with parking here. Last week I bought some delvita cookies which for some reason never make it to my bag although I paid for them on the receipt. I didn't notice till I was home unpacking my groceries. I called and they said I could go get a pack whenever was convenient. I happened to be by a few days later and didn't even have my receipt and the customer service was so helpful. This is one of the smaller Publix stores, which means that, at times, the selection can be limited, there tends to be fewer open cash registers, and the store can feel crowded. But the parking situation is usually much better than at other locations and the aisles are always clean. Point being, it will get the job done for a quick list without having to deal with Kendall crowds and traffic at the location on 107 avenue. read more

Great store, brand new, very clean but the Deli is a hot mess. I've been shopping at Publix for over 30 years and this has the worst deli hands down. The service is weak and the employees are walking around like chickens with their heads cut off. Old lady Hilda is loud and very unprofessional, talks down to some customers and even the coworkers. I am absolutely floored about how perfect this publix is. I never had the chance to visit the store prior to its remodeling, but I can honestly say it is an asset to this area! The parking garage is always welcoming with spots available, the staff is the sweetest and most friendly staff i've ever seen at any grocery store, and the selection is pretty damn plentiful. I love the wine aisle, but when I need something more serious, there is a liquor store on the first floor. I'd gladly pay more to come to publix than any of the other grocers in my area. read more

Extremely disappointed! My coworker and I always order from the deli for subs. Lately the sub have been horrible and today I'm just furious. I don't know how someone messes up a sandwich especially when it's ordered online. I asked for it tossed that didn't happen, it was cut in half, I didn't ask for mustard and I got it anyways, and the sandwich was basically thrown together. Publix please get it together.
