The line for subs or hot food here is the most unorganized shit show I've ever seen. I don't know if it's a set rule or not, but these ladies can only make one sub at a time. It doesn't matter if you ask for two identical subs. They will make one, cut it, wrap it, hand it to you, THEN they'll start on the other one. I watched them do the same for a lady in front of me who ordered two 6 inch subs. This was a Saturday and I had nothing else to do so I waited. Any other day I would've walked out as I have done many, many times. I actually decided to write a review this time since I had so much time to kill. What else was I supposed to do? Oh look, now she is starting my second sandwich. She had to go in the back once again to get chicken tenders because there were none out front; just like she did before. Publix remains a great supermarket in South Fl. My family shops mostly at this chain. I am fascinated by the variety of products and brands and of course, the predominance of latin products. We bought some ciders and a little liquor bag with compartments was provided free of charge so the bottles will not break. Neat bag! We brought Rotisserie Chicken Mojo. With a nice salad was a fabulous lunch. The staff is super nice and these shops are always clean. read more

Okay, so first of all I absolutely adore Publix and wish we had them in Colorado. And this one is one of my favorites. The staff is super friendly, the store is kept clean and they have everything I need and more. Their selections are incredibly varied and you can always find some yummy treat in their international section. Super awesome flowers in their flower shop and prices are super reasonable. Their produce selection is wide and produce always looks great! Whoever does their selecting and shopping is a wizard. Couple of things to note: Their cake is the absolute best and once you have publix bakery cake you'll never be able to eat anything else.( Take it from the girl who grabs a slice every time she's in town) Their fried chicken is a close second. Do yourself a favor and order both some chicken strips AND a slice of vanilla cake. You're welcome. read more

I like how convenient is this Publix for me, always on the way whenever I go to my dad's place. Here I can get my weekly water. It's always packed in fact is the one with the most traffic of people out of the ones I have been to. Customer service is great as always and the prices are good too with bogos and discounts. Where shopping is a pleasure. Listen, I had a pretty aggressive rant/review a few weeks ago about another location not too far from this one (about 16 blocks to be exact) and WOW what a difference 16 blocks can make. First of all, the store just looks cleaner. Second - The produce, WOW what a world of difference. The tomatoes aren't old, beat up and mush. FRESH PRODUCE?! What an innovative idea. Overall, this is probably the best location I have been too. Excellent customer service! I was having an issue placing a deli order via the website. I asked to speak with a manager. I spoke to Chris. Chris assisted me in placing the order over the phone. I later came in to buy my groceries and unfortunately my ham and cheese went home in someone else's grocery bag. I returned back to the store with my receipt. I loved coming to this Publix until the pandemic . The deli is by the worse department . All these ladies do is talk and complain . If they did less of both the orders would be completed in a timely fashion . Come on management . Give them a pep talk to make the process easier instead of frustrating because they ask you to walk the store until your feet fall off . What if your only picking up deli . Well guess what they still tell you to walk the store until your feet fall off . Produce area . Everyone is helpful and kind and if what your looking for isn't available they will check in the back for you . The cashiers are also very kind except for one grump . Worst experince ever . Went to Thanksgiving shop. And went to pay with a gift card from Publix i got at work. After several tries the card didn't work. The cashier said to pay with other card and go to customer service which was mobbed with 2 people. They were handling a ton of people even renting cleaning machines finally i was up and was told i would have to return everything and recharge it on the Publix card??? I mean also that i could use it another tine and cone straight to customer service to pay with it . Really i mean i wanted to pay with my gift card she said thats the only way she can see if card is good . I called Publix Lakeland headquarters haven't heard anything and they could care less . Thank God we have other grocery stores. My wife went to another Publix and was reissued a card instantly! 5 minutes. So the problem is the people in our Publix just don't care the manager doesn't care i even left him messages wouldn't cone to phone this place is a disaster and Publix Lakeland doesn't care . I'm tired of this every time I come to this Publix after having ordered something online I always get here at the time that they designate to pick it up and it's never available because they have never started it or knew that they were supposed to. This is the second time this week alone that I've been here half an hour after ordering two subs getting here and then being like "wtf are you talking about?" "No1 ordered anything online" then them finding out that we did and that mean we're waiting another 20 minutes for them to prepare it in front of me. I was visiting a friend and we needed a few items to complete the dinner we where making so I went to this Publix since it was nearby. Impressed is an understatement! The store was impeccable! It almost felt shameful removing items from the shelves since everything was so nicely stocked. There was one item I couldn't find and a young man named Gio went above and beyond assisting me! This is my go to Publix. I actually love coming here, which sounds weird because who gets excited to go grocery shopping ? I just love how clean it always is and the employees are always nice and make sure I found everything I was looking for, and the plaza is a little tight on parking sometimes but I always manage to find a spot. I think what makes his Publix so lovable is the customer service, a couple months ago I purchased an apple juice (not a Publix brand) and when I got home and had a sip, it tasted like apple cider vinegar! It was spoiled. I emailed them and they quickly got back to me and apologized in person and I was able to make an exchange free of cost. What a joy to shop here. read more

This is one of the best and cleanest Publix in Miami. Ive been going to it since it opened about 6 years ago. Everything is well organized and friendly staff. Great subs and hot food. Only downside to subs is avoiding one of the ladies in the deli that looks pretty tough, she gave me a problem for calling ahead and ordering a sub for lunch. They encourage u to order ahead so u don't wait, but she had it all wrong and wanted me to wait on the phone as if I had gotten a number as soon as I called. I'm a huge fan of this Publix! Its always clean and well kept! They always have everything I need in stock. Normally I would give 5 stars, but its lacking one but they are lacking in this big time, THE SERVICE AT THE DELI! I dont know if they have ever gotten complaints before or just avoid them and understand it can get a little busy. There is this one woman there who always looks pissed off. LOL I guess you can say shes a bit intimidating to say the least. She always has a sour face on and yells really loud. She generally can be really nice but her attitude makes her seem a bit bi polar. I came in at 10 one time to get a sub and they close at 11! She told me they were closed and packing up. Another time I saw her being a bit rude to customers about getting a separate ticket for the sub line. Thats probably something in general Publix should work on, some Publix have a separate sub section which is great! Other than the Bi Polar Deli staff, this location is my favorite! read more

The deli is by the worst. Flies flying around. Tried to get a sandwich waited 25 minutes. More the 5 employees, but you stand there like a statue. There more worried about there online orders. This is by far my favorite place to shop. They keep everything clean and easy to find. The staff will help you with everything you need. I order sushi platters from here almost every week their sushi chef does a great job he's quick and offers a great price. My experience at this Publix was not as good as I expected and I am very disappointed. I went to the Pharmacy with my mother and the lady ( Melissa Diaz) was very rude. She made us wait for a long time to take the prescription. Besides she ignored me completely when I was asking her questions about the medication and started talking to somebody else. I do not recommend this pharmacy to anyone, at least no when she is there. She needs to learn manners, and to be compassionate with the people. I would not come back to this pharmacy again. read more

Publix is my go to but this publix is on my don't go to list. The deli here is unbelievably slow, and it's not the workers fault but the managers... always understaffed and especially when I.T comes the the pub subs. It hurts to write this since I love Publix and exclusively do all my grocery shopping there. I'm not going to call it the worst Publix location, but I will say that my most recent experience here was not the most pleasant. I had a hankering only their fried chicken could satisfy. Besides their chicken tender sub, their regular 8 piece fried chicken is my go-to. I stroll to the deli to pick up a box and, unsurprisingly, they were all gone save for a single box of drumsticks and thighs. Not exactly my favorite so I decide to ask when the next batch will be ready. She looked up, scrunched her face and let out an obnoxious, "Ehhh!?!!" So I repeated myself, but to no avail. Another lady had to play interpreter before she said 20 minutes. Full disclosure, my first job ever was deli associate and know for a fact that those deep fryers are supposed to stay running, cranking out boxes of fried chicken by the dozen because they fly off the shelves like tacos on a Tuesday. I peeped past the display case and, sho nuff, those industrial size fryers that can easily fry up more than 6 cases worth of fried chicken were not operational. I settled for the drumsticks and thighs and left feeling empty. The last time I was this disappointed was when Iron Man 3 turned out to be a Christmas movie. read more

So this Publix is really great. It seems newer and cleaner than some of the other ones in the area and people are easier to find if you need help finding something. It's huge and clean and there's also a little Higi station right as you walk in to your right (it measures your weight and blood pressure and if you make an account with them you can track your progress). I like the way the products are organized and the produce is always attractive looking and not old or mushed up. This is really the only Publix I try to go to, even though there's a different one that's closer to me. read more

I am thoroughly disgusted with the deli department. Normally I have no complaints until today. Ordered a sub online to be picked up in 30 minutes. I arrive 30 minutes after I ordered and the sandwich wasn't ready. No big deal because they were little busy. As I was watching her make the sandwich, she dropped the knife she was using on the floor. No problem until she picked it up and continued to make my sandwich with it. I watched in utter astonishment as she lathered mayonnaise on the bread with the dirty knife. She then proceeded to package the sandwich and when I confronted her about it, she claimed that the knife was a different one and was clean. I walked around, thinking that the knife would be still on the floor (no one else picked it up) and there was no knife. She then tried to give the sandwich to me. There is NO way I or anyone else would eat this item. I now question the cleanliness and prep of the items that Publix makes and sells. read more
