Even five stars don't justify the incredible service this store offers! Yesterday, I brought something to the cashier - he brought over another person who could not have been friendlier and more helpful - who took me to a display where the same item (in different packaging) could be had for $1 cheaper. I only wish I recorded her name. This, by the way, isn't an isolated even in customer service, and management is usually very obviously in attendance. PS: They change the BOGO displays Wednesday evening for sale beginning on Thursday. The person who does those change-outs is named "Andrew," whose care and consideration of Publix customers is legendary. read more

This is the worst Publix location I have EVER been to. The store is old, outdated, and not really cared for. It's set up weirdly and confusing for those of us who usually go to other locations. My frustration REALLY comes from the deli. Today, I went to get some lunch meat. This man, probably in his late thirties (only man working this morning, brown hair, with streak of gray, beard) is the worst Publix employee I have ever come across. When I reached the deli, the woman slicing cheese said, "we'll be with you in just a minute". So, I stood in line. The previously mentioned man waved at me in a, I would say, condescending manner.... he just said, "what's up?" I gave him the usual, "I'm good, how are you doing?" He just shrugs....... ok, that's fine. Here's where it gets better: I say I want Boars Head Teriyaki chicken, shaved. His response?? "Chicken doesn't shave well...." his coworkers asked him what he said and they didn't disagree with him. I told him I get it paper thin. All. The. Time. So, he takes his dear, sweet, time NOT doing what I requested. I ended up with not very paper thin crap sliced by a not nice, not caring employee. I am frustrated and will be taking my business to a different location! To add onto this, his coworker, Bella, was unsanitary. She didn't wash her hands after using cleaning products. She used sanitizer instead. And she put Londonport just on the scale without a paper/tissue. In addition, with a previous experience with her, she did not wrap my Mac and cheese with Saran Wrap like they are supposed to. So disappointed..... The only reason why I would give this place one star other than it being necessary is my cashier. Cristina was a very sweet lady, and deserves to be recognized :) read more

I'm usually a huge Publix fan. By the standard the company usually sets, this location leaves a lot to be desired. Personally, I think its worthwhile to drive the extra five minutes to the location near 295 than go here. read more

We had a wonderful experience today at this publix. We were greeted 4 times in the store. Very friendly staff. When we checked out the bagger walked our cart out and unloaded it for us even though I said no it's okay. She insisted and wanted to help. Maybe she saw the struggle? I was shopping with a toddler and 3 month old. So it was nice to get a hand! Thanks a million. The store was clean and had everything I was looking for. I love Publix. However, I don't love this Publix. The parking lot is horrible. On my visit, I went to the deli to pick up a sub for my mom. The preparer was slow because he was chatting with coworkers. I had a few other items to pick up once I got the sub and I found the aisles difficult to navigate. This is a popular Publix, and the aisles get cramped fast. The checkout was the icing on the cake - two high schoolers were working and had no customer service skills. The cashier didn't greet me, the bagger didn't offer to bring my bags to the car, and they kept their personal conversations going while assisting customers. I'm grateful there's another Publix not far from this one. read more

This is definitely one of my favorite grocery stores in this area and i usually go out of my way to go to this Publix. Not too busy and friendly staff, very organized. Miss Daynee at the deli is always extremely welcoming and helpful every time i've come in and is always a pleasure to speak to! Definitely recommend this store. read more

Wish I could give less than one star. The selection in this store is terrible. The fruit was so bad. The mangos looked like rotted corpses and the avocados could have been used as a deadly weapon they were hard as rocks (all of them). The staff at least was very friendly. The shoppers are roaming around like night of the living dead with attitudes to match. I just wish they would update this poor store. Like I said at least the staff was super friendly and helpful that is the only saving grace. read more

This Publix is older and it definitely shows. I had to try out three different carts to find one that didn't sound/feel like it wasn't going to fall apart. Lighting is dim, which makes it look less clean and inviting than other Publix. Staff was still very pleasant and helpful. read more

Publix is one of my favorite places to shop for groceries. They have a great program where they accept competitors coupons, so you can really take advantage of their sales by using these in conjunction with the BOGO offers for the week. Publix always has great customer service and it is always clean. This location right now is undergoing some construction so it is a bit harder to navigate to the door from the parking lot as only one entry is open. read more

A cashier at this Publix showed me the true meaning of excellent customer service. She helped me with a coupon issue today which went above & beyond. What can I possibly say about publix that most people don't know, this store was clean, well stocked and the staff that I did interact with were all very friendly. I came in to buy a birthday cake and as usual it was frozen but their selection of colors for predecorated cakes were terrible. I also had to wait quite a while for someone to tend to those of us waiting by the bakery counter. Not sure if it's always like this but it was around 8pm when I got there. The deli counter was not any better. I stood by the counter as people behind it looked at me and continued doing what they were doing. I then decided that the old chicken tenders would not be worth waiting for. Not sure if this was an isolated incident but I might not come back to this particular location so late in the evening. On the plus side, even though this location was super packed with customers even at 8pm, check out was quick. read more

Dave in the deli is horrible. We ordered 2 deli meats and one pound of cheese using the online app. The app gave a pick up time of 35 minutes. This is outrageous considering the size of the order but I understand this gives them plenty of time to complete the order in a timely manner just in case of any issues arise. When we arrived at the deli counter at our pick up time our order was not in the pickup location. My wife inquired about our order and Dave said he would go check on it. He then said oh the guy is working on it but he is new so he might be awhile and Dave went back to stocking the case. At this point I asked Dave why they provide a service without fulfilling the promise of a expedited service. He then asked if I would stop being disrespectful because he wasn't being disrespectful to me. What he failed to realize was by failing to get the order done on time and disregarding the promise publix made with the pick up time he was the one being disrespectful by not valuing the time of the customer. read more
