My go to Publix since 1988! Yes thats correct 1988! I Graduated from the High School right around the corner from this Publix! However, the warm culture has changed; the "shopping is a pleasure culture" is not what it use to be from the Front Management stand point. This was especially apparent this afternoon, the manager was just walking back and forth, back and forth. There was no smiling, no hello he was Just walking back and forth. Where are the nice greetings as you walk in the door, the hello's, the good morning's, the good-afternoon's etc... I have ALWAYS, been a Publix girl!!! Yes it costs a bit more but the service is what makes the difference. I Love the friendly deli staff and the bakery and produce staff are always helpful too! However, I must unfortunately say the Manager at the front lacked the warm, welcoming feeling that I have been use to for over 35 YEARS! Yes I am dating myself but thats ok! The store is okay but please be very careful if you buy any pre-made Publix branded foods such as salads, sandwiches, dips, and those ready-to-eat meals. We've found ingredients that aren't listed in the ingredient list added to them such as spinach found in the bacon-wrapped stuffed jalapenos. For anyone with food allergies, I would probably suggest NOT buying those pre-made items and instead go with homemade because you may not be buying what the ingredient list says you should be buying. read more

18:31 5/26/2024 i was paying mi goods, i exit to the parking lot with my belongings and Jorge the manager of this publix took my stuff at the parking lot and went inside to call 911 because he knew i did not pay my stuff. He took me inside the publix holding my belongings and made wait for a police car that never got to the place because after making me wait for 10-20 min he realized i indeed pay for my stuff. After i was embarrassed in front of everyone he told he was confused i told him he did not have the right to hold my stuff and neither me. He told me again he was sorry of course after making me look extremely bad in front of neighbors of mine i live less than 600 meters to this publix and i always go to this publix because it is really close to my house. Love this Publix! I used to frequent this location when I loved in the area years ago. Now whenever I am in the area, I am sure to stop by. As with any Publix, the customer service here is always top notch. I have slowly but surely done away with Winn-Dixie all together. Today I met a young lady, Tyla, that is on her way to FAMU this coming August and I had a pleasant conversation with her as I was wearing a FAMU sweatshirt today and that is my Alma Mater. Even the bag boy was hilarious and the two of them had this running joke about him trying to outdo her in his customer service. I did not catch the bag boy's name but he was very helpful. He put the rest of my groceries on the belt as I was doing two transactions. When I needed two more of an item, he went and grabbed them for me. He even kept my son entertained. I love seeing our youth excited about work and going off to college. Although I have always loved this location, Tyla and the bag boy really made my day today and my shopping a pleasure. Worked for Publix in Fort Lauderdale for over 6 years and I came to this Publix to pick up a few items and went to the seafood department to see if they had lobster tails. 1st off there was no customer service whatsoever while I was looking. Both guys in the department just looked at me while I was looking, no hello or can I help you with anything ma'am ? Nothing . They just spoke Spanish to one another and never acknowledged me so I left disappointed. Got some items from produce and headed to the register and of course smh I wasn't surprised because when I got in line, this cashier didn't say anything to me, just rung me up and handed me my receipt. Again, no how are you? or how's your evening going? or no have a good night. Nothing!!! I've been to a lot of Publix throughout the years and this one has the worst!!!!!! Customer service. I'll never shop here again and would warn my family as well to never shop here smh. Publix is all about customer service. I would know I worked for the company in the past and we even do training videos on the computer that talks all about customer service. This Publix is smaller than usual, there is a bigger Publix right down the street off of I-75 which I usually go to however, I do go to the store every once in a while since it's closer to my gym and we usually grab a bite to eat in the Panera which is in the same shopping center. Store has everything a Publix would usually have however, the inventory is obviously smaller. The staff at the deli was very helpful, and the cashiers also displayed good hospitality and customer service skills. I like the fact believe it or not that there is a red box inside the Publix. The bakery is very small and the store doesn't have a cafeteria. Aside from these issues it's a regular grocery store if you looking for something to cater more of your needs try the one down the street read more

It's a grocery store, y'all. Publix is naturally a little more expensive than Winn-Dixie, Sedano's, and Fresco y Mas, but they do have a lot more to offer in terms of options in brands and I do feel that the store brand (generic) at Publix is a little better than most of the other previously mentioned grocery stores. It's typically a little more organized and the generic deli meat is tasty. I recommend thinly sliced Publix deli cold cuts directly from the deli instead of the pre-packaged sandwich meats. But if you have to make a long line at the deli, the pre-packages aren't too bad in comparison. There are a lot of carts available but on the weekends, you might want to grab one you find in the parking lot on the way in, because you might find the carts gone. -Let me start by saying that this is my store!! I've been coming here for God only knows how many years and I have never had such a bad experience or felt more discriminated than tonight. So I go over there to pay my light bill as usual and there's only 1 person ahead of me. After waiting for a little, someone comes from the side on the other line and of course they took care of her right away( funny). The kid saw my face and he asked what I needed I said to pay my light but I would wait, no problem, thank you. So I'm here still waiting, at this point there's like 10 people waiting already and the so called manager "Krystal" decided to get out of her office and help with the line. She said "What do you need?" I said to pay my light bill and she said "Well you're in the wrong line". I said I've been standing here for a while now and you guys didn't say anything". She automatically gave me attitude, and said "well there's a sign over there for that, you should've read it" and her face oh God !! Looking at me as if I'm a weird thing!! Why? because I'm hispanic and she's "american". THIS IS DISCRIMINATION!!!! Publix you shouldn't have someone like Krystal working in a neighborhood where the majority of people are hispanics. Specially as a Manager!! How did she even made it?? By faking it?? I'm pretty sure this is not the first time she's given attitude to a costumer or talk to them in the wrong way. I walked in there was no carts, barely any outside an employee kindly said ill go get one and as time passed by i look outside he is talking to another employee not worrying about the carts. I went to cs counter told the manager theres no carts and she was just telling me to hold on.. by the time i finished shopping there still was NO CARTS.. while shopping i didnt find anything i needed but no one around to ask.. not to mention how dirty this place was ... Bad experience. I live between this location and the one down the street off I-75. Now i remember why i usually go to the one by75. It is cleaner, the employees say good morning. There were a few items that were not available. The main reason for this review isthe lack of customer service. My cashier Sarah (10:53am 5/26/15) was yapping away with the girl bagging my groceries. She did not have time to interrupt her doggie purse story to greet me or thank me. She did not offer to change a $10 bill for a roll of quarters. Instead she just pointed at customer service and continued withher story. I then walked over to customer service and waited while the young girl on lottery duty tried her best to service everyone in line. While the other woman in customer service was on the phone discussing personal matters. About one of her children and a graduation. I finally got her attention and asked her for a roll of quarters, to which she replied, "we dont change rolls of quarters, we forgot to order change". Quarterless i left, with one talking about doggie purses and the other about kids graduation. The only thing on my mind was; its not problem they forgot to order quarters.
