This review is primary for the deli section. Staff are completely uninterested and take their time to complete orders as if people don't have places to be. Three different employees saw me and didn't bother assisting until 15 minutes later. There was only one guy in front of me and no other customer in the area. Food safety is also of high concern. There was a tub of raw chicken just sitting in the middle of their work area with cooked foods surrounding it. The worker kept pushing the tub with raw meat then working on the subs without changing her gloves. If something so simple as preventing cross contamination with raw meat is difficult at this establishment, then I can't imagine what else they're being negligent with. The sandwich itself was almost inedible. The bread and chicken tasted days old and the chicken was dry and bland. Apart from the deli, the whole publix looks outdated and could really benefit from self checkout. Clearly quality is not a focus here and shopping certainly was not a pleasure. read more

If you are expecting a quality supermarket keep driving about half a mile west and go to Whole Foods or go to Walmart and self check out. The cashiers do not know how to use the machines, do not know how to punch in the numbers to have the machine give out the correct change. We owe it to the next generation and not allow substandard skills. It is a disservice when we normalize not knowing basic skills like reading, and arithmetic. Machines will take over these jobs because we allow it. The managers should train the employees not only to do their jobs but on customer service. I will not return to this Publix after being my store of choice since 1986. read more

Every time the product is advertised in the weekly flyer it isn't in this Publix store. When asking the Manager about a product not available in the store the answer is always its the vendors fault or the warehouse didn't send it. The bakery department there no help either I asked for a certain bread the answer is we don't make it anymore. When I looked for the bread amazing !!! I found it. I see a big difference the way this store is run between the previous manager and now, and is not for the better. read more

I went here to get a Pub Sub for my daughter who was playing a volleyball tournament near by. Luckily, it was on sale (minus $2) which was an added bonus. The aisles were stocked which was nice but the prices are high. They were very nice here so that was good. Where do I begin.... Besides the shortage of goods/ products..... Going to this location is a NIGHTMARE and HASSLE!!!!!! There's also no merchandise when you needed it! No good meat in the deli... or if they do the meat isn't good. It's happened to me several times where I've had to go return it! ( steak, and ground beef ). You talk to the managers and you get the same story all the time " we're sorry, it's not our fault, it's the suppliers it's the this it's the that" .... etc etc.... No accountability like usual. They barely have cashiers available when it's peak time and the lines are long and disorganized. Some employees argue in front of customers because they don't wanna do a certain task or deal with a certain issue! The only reason I usually go now is to get some ( Load'd sundaes - blue bunny ). This particular Publix has been having a difficult time with customer service in the Deli and the Bakery departments, otherwise I'd give it a higher rating. We ordered a cake for a special occasion and no one we spoke with wanted to help or even suggest options. The problem with the staff at the Deli is similar, but they are also too busy chatting with friends to take care of waiting customers. I hope management does something soon to fix these problems, which seem to be getting worse and worse. read more

This Publix is central to Doral just in a super busy plaza. Parking is always a hassle. This is one of the locations that is busy with customers and doesn't have the cleanest vibe like the other store locations in Doral maybe because it's older. I think since it's a busier location I don't always find what I'm looking for. read more

Shopping is a pleasure here. Like most Publix Supermarkets, this grocery store in Doral Plaza is well-kept and organized. They're also home to the "Pub Sub" - 'nuff said. I visit this Publix since it's close to work and because I know I can find what I need rather quickly. There have been a handful of last-minute events at the office, and Publix is always the solution when looking for fast and reliable service. I frequent the bakery and deli on a weekly basis, but their seafood department is also commendable as the fish is consistently fresh and their sushi comes in clutch whenever you get those cravings. The attendees behind the counter are all all-stars too. My mind goes off sometimes when it comes to thinking about different food combinations but that doesn't stop the staff from going above and beyond to make sure that I get my dream sandwich, poké bowl, etc. read more

Since we have 2 within 1 1/2 miles of each other it is only fair we list the good and the bad about both. Let me start with one thing, I have been living in the area for 12 years, and there is a core of employees that have been working there the whole time. That says a lot about management. Kudos to you! Its very small, yes but pretty complete, they have more international products (Colombian, Mexican, Brazilian) than the one on 57th. I do however prefer shopping in the other one because it is bigger and parking always a breeze. Produce, always fresh. Good seafood selection as well as the deli. Publix bakeries are very, very good. This one in particular. Lately there have been many reviews of cupcake places and I have been jonesing for a good gourmet one, so I picked up a Chocolate Cream Ruffle Jumbo Cupcake here. It was white cake and had a mousse topping covered in Chocolate Ganache with creamy chocolate filling. Absolutely delish! And big enough for 2. Parking can be a hassle depending on the times, it can be downright ridiculous so just go far and walk, we live in Miami! Use those Chevrolegs! ALL in all, they are great. Good job Publix! read more

I've been a loyal Publix pharmacy customer for many years. My past 2 experiences here have been awful. The previous time I needed meds at least the pharmacist had the courtesy to tell me that I would be better off taking my prescription to another pharmacy in the area since the meds weren't available there. This time , my doctor called in the prescription. I waited several hours before calling them to see if it was ready. They told me "tomorrow after 3". So next day after 3 I went to the Publix only to be told it was on back order and come in the next morning. Went back the next afternoon when they told me it didn't come in- try tomorrow after 5 pm. I kinda need my medication. At least give me a call if you're unable to fill the scrip and I'll go elsewhere. From now on I will! read more

Honestly, the service from the customer service staff and cashiers is good, but the produce and meat department are seriously in dire need of a renewal. The produce department almost always has trash on the floor, and there is always expired or nearly expired produce that needs to be trashed. The quality of products is distasteful to say the least. With the amount of bad or low quality product count in the produce and meat department, I'm seriously thinking why people go to this Publix to buy things from those departments at all. I ended up going to another store because if I'm paying a lot of money compared to other stores, I would think AT LEAST the quality is good. Been my stop before home for over a decade, a good spot to pick up some last minute staples for dinner. The area surrounding it has grown quite a bit, thus giving it a cramped feel, but I am always sure to find what I am looking for and usually can make a fairly quick exit. I stopped in during lunch to pick up some items I forgot to get yesterday. Oh my gosh! What a nightmare. I knew better, and should have gone to WInnDixie instead. Parking is a pain, people just sit in the middle of the lane to wait for others to pull out. It is annoying because I can see more than one vacant parking space, so I know they can see it too. The customers in the store are completely clueless and do the same thing and just stand in the middle of the aisle while you patiently wait for them to move. Cashier are annoying. Very slow to scan and bag items through. Go to WinnDixie down the street, they are cheap and less of a hassle. read more

They also seem not to really speak English and will only give you good service if you speak Spanish, luckily I do, but still, can't you respond when someone say Hi, how are you? This pharmacy is a joke. First they don't take all insurance. So i pay out of pocket. Then I come at 7:40pm to pick up - they're closed. Mind you, the website says 8pm. Then I come back the next day... closed for lunch break. Ridiculous. Publix needs to hire more pharmacists and have pharmacy hours. They work in healthcare for Christ sakes. These four stars are dedicated to the incredible subs and their outstanding key lime pie! I have yet to find a sub as satisfying as the publix sub. It must be the magic fresh baked bread, those boar head meats, or maybe the generous toppings! I don't know what it is but those subs are magical! You wouldn't expect a Publix to have incredible Key Lime Pie but yes, I kid you not this key lime pie is everything! The perfect blend of tart and sweet! A phone call later and I am running down to another Publix and the script is ready when I show up. .....fast forward to get the rest of the script filled and there is an issue with how it is put in.....no worries. Even another customer in line tried to help me - I think he saw how rude she was. I do not speak Spanish and I do not look like I'm from in town. She essentially thumbed her nose at me when I had a question about a menu item then didn't really take my order correctly because she wouldn't bother to look at me to ask me what I wanted. Basically assumed I wanted the item I inquired about (which I did but I wanted to order more) and walked away and started making it without saying anything. Only reason I'm given 2 stars is the cashier at check out was friendly but that doesn't erase bad treatment. I'm Asian btw, but maybe this lady was having a bad day and treats everyone like that. My boyfriend and I LOVE this Publix location. It is a bit out of our way, but we'd rather come to this location than the one nearest us, which is on 82nd Ave and Flagler. The best thing I can say about this place is you can always find parking. Yes, that is a pro. We can't say the same about the one on 82nd. The service is always good. They have a wide selection of products. It's a pretty big Publix. They also have a pretty good selection of wine and beer. We really enjoy coming here. read more

Parking for the most part is not so bad (so as long as you don't go rush hour lunch time - if so may be best to walk here), the staff is always helpful and friendly, and there are other great shops nearby! Close by the job, tried the online ordering. Mind you I ordered a Turkey wrap at 11:21 this morning. I requested that it be ready by 1:45. When I arrived to the Deli department for my pick up , I did not see it, so I asked the clerk, and she said someone probably took it? (Confused) She apologized and quickly prepared me another wrap, won't do online ordering anymore. Can't afford getting to work late. I decided to give Publix another chance so, I placed my order online when I arrived to the bakery for the cake that I placed an order from three days ago, I was informed by the bakery clerk that my order wasn't ready? I kindly requested to speak to a store manager. I pulled up my online order on my phone and advised the manager that was there any reason that my order wasn't ready at the specific time I requested? He immediately apologized and quickly had the bakery make my cake and I gladly paid half price. When it comes to the deli department, I 've placed plenty of orders and to have them ready by 2pm. When I get there they have six employees working in the deli section and no one in the sandwich prep area. I see the ticket for the order that I placed and no one has prepared it. No lines, no hassle, coin machines, printer/fax and of course all the stuff you would expect from a Publix (except Sopresata Provolone). Parking can be a nightmare, so head towards the rear closer to the street and you should be good. read more

What is not to loveeee about Publix... I mean is where shopping is a pleasure..... This one in particular is great, the only downside is the parking. Is inside a very busy shopping plaza, so don't even try to go around lunch time because you will not find parking, that's why I only go around 10pm only on weekends. read more

Got to love Publix! Store is clean and organized. The staff seemed polite in the store portion, the deli not so much. I waited in line for 25 min for a cold sub. I counted 5 people behind the counter doing various things except helping take orders. The staff at the deli didn't smile, wasn't polite and looked to be over worked. I had to ask the attendant to repeat her self multiple times as I couldn't understand her because of an extremely strong accent and minimal English. I wasn't impressed at all. Keeping with the publix tradition, their prices are higher than most other grocery stores. Need to work on the deli portion of this store to improve the score! read more

This is "My Store" how I call it! I LOVE this Publix, I actually live closer to the one on 58th but I have to say hands down to this staff. I can always count on them to get me what I need. The produce is fresh and seafood is delish. I am a coupon queen and have never had a problem using coupons @ this location. LOVE ......LOVE ...... this location.
