So I decided to call Simply Natural, I didn't have the phone number saved so I searched it on the Yelp app. As usual, and habitually, I always check the recent reviews to entertain myself. What I saw intrigued me. As of last January, Jenn H. left a 1 Star review and stated, "the owner and customer (who also was not wearing a mask) began openly discussing how the recent election was fraudulent and COVID-19 being a hoax. Like? Sir, you own a health/nutrition store that's serving the public seeking to improve their health DURING a pandemic... Conspiracy theories was not at all what I was expecting, especially it being my first time there. After I read this, I didn't call. I found this to be interesting because I've known the owner for years and had no idea he was a right-wing-nut. Anyway, a few days later I had to drive to Patel Brothers and decided to stop at Simply Natural along the way to check if they had the product. The minute I walked in I saw a woman that I don't recall ever encountering before. She said she worked there years ago and had ventured on her own alternative health career, but she returned because ironically the owner died 2 weeks prior on Aug 24th of Covid-19. I couldn't believe it when she said it, I walked out of the store in shock. I was pacing up and down for a while, then I went Bravo supermarket and bought some Dominican food before I returned. This was actually the first person I've known directly who died from covid. It's all so unnecessary because the cure for it is right in front of you, but the Pharmaceutical Industry to suppressing it through social media platforms like Youtube, Facebook, and Instagram to make all this money off of the vaccines. Either way, this is the best store to find hard-to-find nutritional supplements, plus they are loaded with basically anything you are looking for in alternative health and nutrition. The prices can seem a little high, but again they have items you will not find anywhere else.

RATING ZERO! BUYER BEWARE!! Unacceptable & Dissatisfied!!…read moreI have been doing business at The Herbal Gardens with Ms. Diane Galloway for more than 20 yrs and was always very satisfied. However, my Customer Experience today was totally unacceptable & disatisfactory. I did a Mail Order July 2025 where I purchased a pack of capsule product. (The packet does have the enclosed amount.) I actually forgot about the product, I found it while looking for something else. I opened the packet with the intention to transfer the capsules into a bottle instead. I decided to count them because it said, Take three capsules per day with water. I discovered, only 47 Capsules in the packet. With no expiration date, I called the store 3/12/26 and spoke to Ms. Diana who said, "There should be 50 Capsules. We will mail you the three missing ones." I was appalled as it seemed normal...and with NO apology. I then ask to speak with Ms. Galloway who was not there. I was told, the purchase was too far back to give me a refund and Ms Galloway is going to tell you the same thing. Later in the afternoon Ms. Galloway called in the defensive tone since she already learned about the issue from Ms. Diana. She asked, "How can I help you?" I explained the situation and she said, " Well, thats human error. We all make mistakes. I can send you the three missing capsules, it should be 50." I then said, Is that the best you can do?" She said, "YOU WANT ME TO GIVE YOU THE SHOP? WHAT DO YOU WANT?IT'S HUMAN ERROR." In all of this, there was NO APOLOGY from her. I was even more flabbergasted! This is the store owner. I stopped talking. I then said, " Please mail them." Then she said, sorry for the error. This waaay after the fact. An apology came way too late for Damage Control. This is a seasoned business owner who seems to forget that the customers are the only reason she remains in business. Looks like she takes her customers for granted. The irrefutable damage is already done!! Why is there no enclosed amount written on the packet? Why are there three missing Capsules, not one, three? How many "human error" regular miscounts have been missed by the customers over the years? Totally DISSATISFIED. I am just asking?????

I told her to check the wrapper to make sure they were still good. They expired in February of this year. We were already on our way home and it would have cost us more in gas to return them. Always check the labels. The place gets 3 stars because it was clean and I liked the guy. However, I think a lot of the stock is old and you should be aware of what you are buying.
