We walked up and down the aisles browsing their inventory. We didn't buy anything, but our friends got some cardamom tea, and a few spices, plus a couple curries to try. I love exploring another culture's stores like this, as you get an idea of what they would buy. And it gave me a few ideas of some future meals to cook at home. Although I am more of a red wine drinker than a bourbon enthusiast, I appreciated the opportunity to sample several bourbons. Since I was buying a bottle as a gift for a friend, the Two Bitch Bourbon Batch #8 caught my eye. Afterward, I walked around the store and purchased Coffee Cake Cream Liqueur and S7S Dreamsicle Cream Liqueur. For another friend, I purchased a kitchen towel and a bottle of Buck Summit Old Vine Zinfandel. The store clerk was also knowledgeable about wines because I asked for a wine similar to Duckhorn. At the checkout counter, another store clerk also demonstrated an excellent knowledge of wines and even suggested food pairings that would complement my selection. I also purchased the Classic Italian Stack--an assortment of oils--for a friend who is a chef. Spirits & Spice also offers a rewards program. Overall, I found the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help, making for a very enjoyable shopping experience.

She was both lovely and extremely knowledgeable. One of the options contains calm in the title is a blend of citrus leaves. The other is a blend of chamomile and flowers. I don't particularly gravitate toward floral teas, but it smelled the best of the two so I decided to give it a whirl. I purchased a 3 oz bag for $14 and she informed me the tea is highly rebrewable. In fact, she stated I could probably get 3 cups out of each serving. Love this for me! The shop is lovely with a wide assortment of both gifts and teas. Additionally, they offer tea classes the middle of each month. The next Tea 101 is on Friday, 2/21/25 @ 7PM. One must register and prepay in advance. The fee is $12 and it includes a six tea assortment tea tasting with education. Time to to brew my first cup!

Whenever I stop in, I buy two of these and my family absolutely devours them. Honorable mention for their fresh basil plants which are humongous and unbelievably fragrant. Also very good is their deli department. They have a tremendous selection of cheeses, cold cuts, all kinds of cured meats, great olives, etc. I absolutely love it. You can pair your deli purchases with some of the fresh breads and have a really nice charcuterie spread. I do this pretty often for my kids for their after school snack and they love it. I haven't yet tried the hot bar or prepared meals but they seem to be a huge hit with customers. Every time I stop in there's a big line for whatever it is they're serving. I just find the wait to be a little bit of a turn off so I don't bother. But one day if there's no line, I will check it out. Overall this place is great for fresh produce, deli items and more.
