My Monday spot! Great $2 oysters and half off wine by the glass or the bottle. Service is always on point. Friendly and attentive. The place is spacious and they even have a little lounge looking area.

First time, great place. We were seated immediately. Happy hour was in effect. Got the oysters, cheese corn dip, and the nacho/ green salsa. They were all so good. My daughter enjoyed her 2 tacos. Music was good and we weee able to watch the tennis match. We will definitely come back!!

First visit to Publick House!! Made reservations day prior- only availability was 515pm or after 8pm We arrived for 515pm OMG! The amazing aroma of deliciousness as we walked on the sidewalk to enter the restaurant! Great vibes and energy!! Warmly greeted and seated! Awesome music selection! Our Server Fred C was fantastic! He knew the menu well. Answered our questions! Appreciated his recommendations! Absolutely loved my LET'S GET FIGGY cocktail-- WITH IT FIGENZA FIG VODKA, ELDERFLOWER, LEMON, CINNAMON!! Cheers!!! As we waited for our appetizers, entrees and dessert- Saw the other Servers bringing out beautifully plated food and so aromatic! Enjoyed my shrimp and grits, GNUDI FRIED RICOTTA DUMPLING, CHORIZO & CORN DIP!! The truffle fries were yummy! The FLAN NAPOLITANO was the perfect ending to a wonderful dining experience! When we got our check, even though we were in the dining area- we got happy hour pricing for some of the items we ordered! Nice!! We will definitely be back!! Keep up the great service and amazing food and cocktails!!

Went for the first time last night the place is very small. Glad we got there early cause as it gets packed. It's very hard to have a conversation very loud. The food was all good. The service was decent. I would like to come here during the week next time

I've been coming here for a few years now, and I can't help but feel like the place is progressively going down hill. Don't get me wrong, it's still very decent and a great higher-end gastropub option in the area, but it just feels like over the years prices have gone up significantly while portion sizes and quality have gone down. For example, we just went tonight and everything was really way too salty. My husband, who never sends anything back, sent his beer back because it was spoiled. The pasta with boar ragu should not be a $30 dish. The portion size is very small and lacking meat sauce. One thing they've consistently done well is their seafood. They know how to perfectly cook seafood. The ambiance is cozy and dark and makes a great date night spot.

Nice, elevated gastropub. We happened to stumble upon Mountainside Restaurant Week and were surprised how many people were here on a Tuesday night! The Restaurant Week tasting menu was well worth it, including an appetizer, entree, and dessert. Everything was delicious and nicely plated, and although we were stuffed by dessert time, the bread pudding and tres leches were so good that we still managed to finish them. We'll be back again for a nice dinner out!

I had dinner here with friends and enjoyed my experience. When I arrived our table wasn't ready so I sat at the bar and waited for my friends to arrive. The host kept checking in and let us know when our table was ready. The bartender was friendly and attentive. We started with the short ribs and tuna crisp. I'm not a big fan of tuna but the tuna crisp changed my mind! Our appetizers were all great. For my entree I had the steak frittes. My steak was a little undercooked but otherwise enjoyable. I really loved the old fashioned, it was well made. Our server was very attentive throughout the night.

The inside opens up to a large bar with high ceilings and a giant fire place. There is an upstairs as well and seating in the back that lets you see the wood fired ovens. We ordered the clam chowder, wings, and pork belly bao buns. The chowder was packed with clams and maybe needed a tiny bit more salt but was filling. The wings came out as all flats which was a huge plus as I'm not too big of a fan of drumsticks. The pork belly bao buns were easily the best thing I've had and was so shocked about the flavor mix and how delicious they were. The Bao buns weren't doughy at all and had the perfect texture. No way this could be three eggs. Overall, I would say this is a pretty good place to have dinner or lunch. I just think it's very high priced of restaurant in Westfield. I'm giving you three stars because of the hair situation but remainder of the food was adequate.

The French onion soup was perfection, probably my favorite of the night, with rich savory broth that truly warmed up my cold January night. The ahi tuna bites were fresh, light, and zesty. And not something you see often at a gastropub! When I saw disco fries on the menu, you know this Jersey girl had to get some and let me tell you, they were everything I hoped for and more. We got the pioneer burger and the big bleu burger. They were charred beautifully yet still so juicy and tender. The onion rings they came with were delicious and crispy! The waffles with ice cream ended dinner on a sweet note, with ice cream from Zita's topped perfectly on the fluffy golden waffles. This place has great food, great energy, the kindest staff, and the cutest pictures of dogs on the wall to top it all off. If you're visiting new Providence, Harlee's is a must stop!!

It was packed on the Friday night we visited, with folks lined up for seating, or to hang at the bar and enjoy the bar scene. No reservations. Our late dinner worked fine as the mostly millennial and Gen-Z crowd started thinning shortly after we arrived. Millburn has always been a draw for neighboring townsfolk in search of a meal out. I remember this foodie town from 25 years ago, when its pizza, kosher and diner offerings were top notch. It seems to have upgraded its food scene several notches since my last visit so many years ago. Pure nostalgia for me which made for a very flavorful evening. TOP TIP: Street parking in this part of town is a hassle and the local cops keep a sharp eye for illegally parked cars and inebriated drivers. So park further away from the center of town where you are more likely to snag a legal spot on a busy night.

From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Our server was attentive and professional, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and quietly classy--ideal for a relaxed lunch and conversation. I started with the Candy Roaster Squash & Coconut Soup, a vegan dish with a warm, sweet, and hearty flavor profile. It was absolutely perfect on a cold winter day. For my entrée, I ordered the Brewer's Burger with pepper jack cheese, caramelized onions, pickles, lettuce, tomato, rosemary aioli, and a side of frites. The flavors came together beautifully--salty, sweet, and savory notes all working in harmony. Truly a dance in your mouth. One additional detail worth noting: the gender-neutral accessible restroom was spotless and had a very pleasant odor. It was top-notch, just like everything else about this restaurant. I called in for a big party, and they did an excellent job with the table-setting & location. Secondly, the food: Their apps are absolute winners. For my main, I actually got a special which was not on their main menu. It was a Fajita Burger served with (you guessed it...) fajita fries. I added jalapenos for an extra kick. From the outside, it didn't look like anything special or a place to rave about but I quickly learned why it was all the talk with them. Since it was a Saturday night, they had a nice crowd and the place itself had a feel of both a sports bar and a brew pub. The one side was more of a sports bar type of feel (or setup) and the other half had more of a brew pub type of feel. After looking at the menu, I decided to go with the healthier choice so I ordered the Drunken Parm Sandwich. I wish I took a picture of the sandwich when it came out because it looked very good and like it was made fresh. Almost immediately, the server came over to me to let me know that they made me real chicken rather than the vegetarian chicken and said she would take it back for the vegetarian chicken. I opted to keep it since I knew there was a chance it would probably get thrown out. I took one bite of the sandwich and I have to say, it was one of the BEST chicken parm sandwiches I've ever had. It was piping hot and tasted fresh. From the chicken, to the sauce, to the bun, it all tasted fresh and practically melted in my mouth. It was a little on the salty side but aside from that, it was made to perfection. To top the night, as we were paying the bill, our server Maya (who was very friendly and tentative during our visit) handed me a take out container with the veggie chicken parm sandwich in it AND the general manager Greg came over to me to apologize for the mistake and said the veggie chicken parm was on the house. It's very rare for me that this happens. I wish I lived closer to Paragon so I can go back more often but believe me, I'll be back there for drinks and dinner next time I'm in the area. I highly recommend going there. Their service, food, and drinks will not disappoint.
