Apparently a vm was left while we were on vacation and we are now considered delinquent:) i explained we pay for months in advance but that information had not been shared. I paid our $90+ $20 late fee. Tried to reach a corporate office to share my experience but was unsuccessful. I initially reserved the last unit of the size I'm looking for online and was planning to book by phone. However when it got down to paying, I realized I needed to see where it was on the property before agreeing. After all, I'm small and going to be handling a storage unit myself and I need it to be accessible for me. I decided to go in the next day instead, though they couldn't promise me the space would still be held. When I arrived there was a sign on the door that the onsite contact was in the facility and to call. Full transparency, I rolled my eyes and dialed the number, thinking I'd be waiting awhile. Stefan answered and came right back to the office. He walked me to the unit and I agreed to reserving it. He was thoughtful in the way he explained everything, patient with my questions (and re-asking the same questions to clarify), and seemed genuinely happy to help. He gave me warnings about potential markups as all storage unit facilities end up doing, and shared with me the best times of day to visit the property. He informed me of the differents locks I can use and the benefits of having a unit with Extra Space. Really glad I chose this location!
