Rates keep going up but there is a rodent problem which I have been trying to protect my things and stagnant water on the premise. I do not understand why the extra charges when the quality is poor. I did not know this prior to putting my stuff in there after moving out of a four bedroom home and needed something immediately. I have photos of the rodent dropping and stagnant water. read more

Letty is the best part of this place. She's very kind, professional, and helpful but, yes, they have rats here. Don't put your belongings here. It's not worth having to dig through boxes covered in rodent urine and poop. Wish I was warned about the issue before being placed in the building. They moved me to a new unit after I discovered the feces but it's still way better to completely avoid the problem than to take the risk. Lots of damaged property. Oh and I'm definitely not the only one, as the day I was clearing out the poop-filled unit, I spoke with another customer who was going through the same very upsetting situation. And when you walk into the buildings it smells like a pet store. Should have known! read more

Everything went smoothly until I got to the unit. I had several boxes and I was by myself but there were no carts to make the move easier. I have a back that tweaks easily so this was super inconvenient. read more

I was looking for a place to store my whole house as we moved back to Texas from hawaii and this place has climate control so I thought, perfect ! Well to my surprise I went to my storage today and as soon as I open the door to get into the inside storages a gang of flies come swarming out. Then when I open my storage I find rodent feces all over my stuff and boxes chewed through. I tried to go to the office and no one was there. I try to call but they just send straight to voicemail. This place is disgusting and I'm paying a monthly fee for my belongings to just be ruined and have to be thrown away. Very disappointed and I hope they respond soon as I'm already looking for a new storage. I would put no stars if I could. read more

On top of the rats, no carts, and the office being open by appointment only; the climate control is questionable. The thermometer I took said it was 90 inside the unit. That is the same temperature I had in my apartment after my A/C was out for over a month. read more

DO NOT STORE HERE. There was rat poop and pee in all the hallways. It ruined a lot of our furniture and we have to get rid of a lot of stuff. Rat pee is soaked into the mattress, chairs, and bedding. They're aware of the situation and told us to file a claim with the insurance. Another down side is the climate control is a joke. You pay extra money to have it stored in an AC controlled climate but it's still 90 degrees inside. read more

Protect yourself and your family's health by NOT renting from here. Their negligence is borderline criminal, and at a minimum, it's theft. I rented a 10 x 20 climate controlled, indoor storage unit to store all the belongings in my entire house while my husband goes back to school. This first time we went back to get something out of it, about a month after renting it, we found rat poop everywhere, and several boxes had been eaten through. When we brought it to the attention of the office staff, she was already aware of the issue and had rat poison on hand to give us to sprinkle all over our things. Since it was very expensive to hire movers again to move all our things to another storage facility, we did as she said and sprinkled the poison on our things. We did this about once a month for a few months until the rats stopped leaving evidence of their visits. Unfortunately the damage had already been done. When we went to get our things out of the unit this month (just under 2 yrs of renting), we found all our things had been destroyed. We had 2 King size bed mattresses and box springs, 3 full couches, 2 very expensive mid-century upholstered chairs, and several boxes that we had to get rid of. The few things we kept had to be steam cleaned, every single box had to be sanitized, as well as the items inside of boxes had to be washed and/or cleaned. I have a 6 month old daughter and can not risk her being exposed to rat poison or the deadly Hantavirus that can be left in dust (which collects heavily in storage units) where rats have been. We had to have the movers put all of our belongings into our garage so we can painstakingly clean every item before moving it inside the house by ourselves, without the help of movers. Unfortunately our storage rental insurance does not cover varmint damage, only normal things like natural disasters, floods, fires, etc. So now we are not only out the $4452.60 that we paid to Public Storage over those 2 yrs, while they knowingly hid a rat infestation, plus the monthly cost of the insurance, but we also have to replace half our belongings, and most of our furniture. I've attached pics for you to decide for yourself. This has been a sincerely horrible experience, and will be filing a complaint with every single regulatory and health agency I can, if someone from their company does not reach out to rectify the situation. read more

I don't know what I'm going to do in a couple of weeks when I'll be moving into my apartment I have my furniture stored here I've been renting for 15 months it was great at the beginning now all of a sudden my storage unit smells like rats urine and droppings I've been using rodent repellents since I started seeing rat droppings out in the climate controlled building halls I went in November 2022 and it smelled horrible there were rat droppings and urine on my things . I'm a 62 year old single woman on social security and can't afford to buy new furniture and clothes public Storage on Nacogdoches and O'Connor in San Antonio Tx public Storage. The insurance they make you buy doesn't cover rodent damage . I don't know what to do William get sick if I take my furniture to my new apartment. Don't store your items at any orange public storage there are rats out there in the daylight out side of storage unit there is no way they can say it's not there responsibility I believe it is there responsibility they didn't warn me about the Rats that they knew they had through out there facilities Neve Never rent with public storage read more

Lazy lady behind the counter act like she didn't want to show us the storage space. I guess looking at it on paper was cool with her but not for us. We asked about a space and she only let us see one and TOLD us that what we had, which she didn't know, couldn't fit when we wanted to see a smaller unit.. We just left.. DON'T RENT HERE! Not only was the storage room 1'X1'.6" smaller than advertised but when I went back a couple months later there were rat droppings everywhere! Management is aware but didn't even inform me. My rental insurance will not cover rodent damage so I'm looking to move to another facility ASAP. I only hope my upholstered items are not damaged!! read more

Consistently raises the price of storage. Rat feces everywhere. I would not recommend this place for storage. When I was notified of a price increase of $15, I called and spoke with the front office. They said there's nothing they can do. I get it. But when it is raised twice in one year (that's a total increase of $30/month), I expect the facilities to be at least somewhat clean. They aren't. My garage was infested with rats. When I notified the front office, all the said was, "Sorry." I had to force them into giving me poison for the locker. Apparently the do have a pest control plan for the facility. read more

This is an awful storage unit! They had a leak, it ruined a lot of our stuff and there was mold,mud and ants . Their response is we store at our own risk and to file with insurance . Now tons of our stuff is ruined and we have to move everything somewhere and they did not offer any compensation or to help. We also spent 100$ on plastic tubs since our boxes are ruined, garbage bags and tape to put the things that were salvageable. It also was hard to get a hold of anyone and they were not friendly . We even paid for the climate control only for our things to be ruined. Tons of baby stuff, pictures, my sons toys ,furniture is ruined and moldy ! Pay extra this place is not worth it unless you want your stuff ruined! read more

We have been with them for 10 years and NEVER had one problem! Feel as if they are part of our family...Can't even begin to say enough good things about the staff especially the Manager Tebra. I have been with this storage company for 9 years and have always made my payments in a timely manner. The rate has increased to $106.00 on my 5' X 10' unit, which is significantly more than it is for the exact same unit in other storage facilities all around my same area. I have been told that I can move into another unit exactly like it in the same building for less than half of what I'm paying now, but I would have to move everything out and then in again to another unit. The owner refuses to let me stay for the lesser monthly fee. The persons on site are very courteous and the service is fine, but fail to understand why the owner would rather loose a faithful customer than offer the lower price without me having to physically move everything. I will be going elsewhere next month :( read more

I wish I could leave no stars. I am disgusted by this place. DO NOT USE!! I had my whole 3 bedroom house belongings....everything I owned...stored in their climate control building. When I went to have my stuff moved out, it was covered in rat and mouse urine and droppings. The movers said as they were moving boxes, droppings "rained" down on them. I had a leather sectional, a leather sleeper sofa, 2 leather chairs, and several other pieces of furniture that I now have to put in a dumpster. There is no saving it. There are several boxes that have been chewed through with items inside ruined. I called public storage immediately and was told they take NO responsibility for this. As the woman put it, "I can't control it." Really??? And I'm paying you almost 300 bucks a month to keep my belongings safe?? I am disgusted, and will be seeking legal council on this.
