The Good.. Overall its a nice clean facility and the people are super friendly in the office.. Easy access and security seems outstanding.. I looked around online alot before renting here and they are all pretty much the same, as in price. So far I am happy with the facilities.. The bad.. The mandatory insurance thing is a pain and I had to call my insurance agent in the office to verify that I was covered before they would let me decline it. 30 dollars or more for a paperwork fee is pretty outrageous, when you are already paying over 120 bucks a month for "space". MUST buy their lock (why are these not included since I cant use a standard lock?).. Not enough, or any, environmentally controlled units available (none, when I asked for it in the office). No one mentioned any of the above charges until after you started signing paperwork.. If I had known I may have looked around more, but I was already there.. and they all (probably) charge those same fees.. read more

So now I'm evicted and have been removed from the property and I demanded to speak to a higher up and the 2 lady's wouldn't give me the number for cooperate, but I found it on google. I asked for a refund and she shut the door on me and wouldn't talk to me anymore. I also asked if it was a pet friendly place bc I have a dog before I even got this unit bc I'll have my dog on his lead while Im moving things around and apparently after I signed for this unit now it's all of a sudden not pet friendly anymore!! They will send debt collectors after you for the autopay balance for the months after you already moved out. I'm getting squeezed for $200 for a month I never used because they didn't close out my auto pay balance when they closed my account. Rented a unit here three weeks ago, due to a short notice out of state move for work. Was told that "regular hours access" is 6am to 9pm, seven days a week. Then at 5:53pm on the Sunday after I rented the unit, I wasn't allowed access. This delayed both my unloading the rented U-Haul truck, and my leaving. This cost me money in both rental fees, and the lost day of pay. Then two weeks later, I fly back into town for a family wedding that is a few hours away, and again my access is denyed, this time at 8:15pm on a Thursday. Another delay, and another Uber ride to pay for. After the first incident, I was told that the issue would be corrected, and wouldn't happen again. Obviously it hasn't been. I definitely do not recommend this storage company. If it were practical, I would move my things out immediately. read more

my unit went from $310 a month to 600 a month in less then 2 years. I am late this month on rent due to the incliment weather and they will not allow me access to my unit. They have locked me out. I will never ever get a unit from them again. Seems there will be a fight to get my stuff out as I was planning on moving out on Monday. I found a bigger unit for half the price and much better management. . Their Customer service reps are rude and unhelpful. I was gonna go in and pay cash but roads are bad so I can not drive up there. Had a unit for 4 years of which 2 years the lights were so bad had to bring a lantern. They would raise rent every 6 months. Would go to unit and elevators not working. Cleaned out my unit in the 4th but charged 229 for whole month. If you want to throw money away this is your place. Other storage units would ask for 5-7 days notice. read more

Stay away from this storage company. They do not care for their customers and are profit focused only. I needed a unit and this was the only place available so I had no choice. My father passed away and I needed to move his belongings into a unit temporarily. Within the first month I got an email notifying me that my unit has been cleared out and emptied. This scared me as the unit was sentimental and I couldn't get ahold of anyone to help me. For 3 hours I thought something happened to my stuff. They didn't offer anything but "this was actually meant to be emailed to the unit next to yours not yours" great.... Then less than 6 months later my rent went up $40 per month... I have never heard of a unit going up that much within 6 months. My other unit I had at a different facility went up only a couple dollars at the YEAR mark.. this place decided to charge an ungodly amount of money just because they could. Lastly, I was set to move out but my boyfriend shattered his eye socket and I had no other help. I had to wait for him to heal and we were able to move out January 1st. I discussed with the front office prior and they said I won't have to pay if I move out on the first. So we got up very early and moved our stuff. We were out by morning and I thought all was well. I get an email a few days later saying my card was charged. I called again and they said you shouldn't be charged. But I was. I was then directed to the 1800 number and the rude women told me in the contract it states I have to pay if I am there between the 1st-31st of the month and they don't pro rate.. this was shocking since the actual location said I didn't have to pay and for 31 days out of the month I was there for 2 hours on the 1st. They refused to give me my money back so I paid $178 for the entire month of January and didn't even use the unit. They gave my unit to someone else and still got my money. It is such a disgusting practice. I tried to follow up with the location and left them voicemails but no one ever called me back. They are terrible with customer service and caring for their customers. Never again. read more

Unit was broken into and the staff insist they left us a voice message letting us know. I can assure you, if we had heard our unit was broken into, there would have been a return phone call from us. The people at check in are some of the rudest customer help people I have seen in a long time. When you reserve online it says a lock is included for $20.00 or you can bring your own and they will refund your the $20.00. What it doesn't tell you is that it is a specialty lock that only they carry. Oh but when you move out you get to keep this useless piece of junk that you will never have a need for again in your life. And, they automatically tack on a fee for insurance. read more

I booked a unit online after my townhome flooded trying to get a dry place to store my salvageable items. I went to this location maybe 30 minutes later trying to get the lock and when I got to the unit the ceiling in the back had fallen it and floor was wet including the pamphlet that lock was sat on top of. I took pics and even called customer service to see if they'd refund me but nope just $50 down the drain. After losing my residence and a bunch of my items I also lost my money. I ended up getting a storage unit from UHaul and they were the total opposite. Glad I didn't end up losing more money here. I'd only recommend renting here if you can go see the unit before paying your money and if you can get it insured. read more

I should start off by saying the manager of this complex is very, very nice, and this really has nothing to do with him. He has been great. Nonetheless I rented a unit online, I received a reservation number and was able to complete the check-in process online without any hassle. I noticed on the website it says that your online reservation rate is locked in and will be honored without issue. I got a 10x20 unit at a rate of $177. I thought this was a good deal. It then became clear that, at least temporarily, I would need another unit. I noticed the unit right next to mine was vacant, so of course I wanted to rent that unit. I went thru the exact same process, however, this time I did it on the app. Again, I received my reservation number for a 10x15 unit for the "sale" price of $148. I was happy with the price, but disappointed that there was no way to reserve a particular unit, i.e. the unit next to mine, and that I would get be getting any unit that they randomly assigned to me. Very inconvenient! This time however, I was unable to complete the check-in process online and was told I would have to go into the office to finalize my check-in. I have since come to realize if you rent an additional unit through the app, it is a convoluted process that doesn't allow you to easily or knowingly select either a particular unit, or contactless check-in. I thought this was not very user friendly, but It's not the end of the world . When I went to pick up my keys and complete my registration in person, The manager told me my reservation had been canceled accidentally the previous day by an employee who was filling in and apparently not familiar with the system, and that It wasn't my fault since customers have no way to cancel registrations on their end. When I went through the process to reserve the unit again, this time the rate was $226! A full $78 more for a smaller unit! What's worse is the manager said he had no way to honor the original rate of $148! I assume the computer did not give him the ability or perhaps he just doesn't have the authority or both. But either way he literally said "Sorry. There's just no way for me to do that. You'll just have to rent another unit at the market rate for today" which was $78 higher! Luckily I did get a $24 discount, but the unit is still $30 more for a smaller unit. Even though the website says quotes for online reservations will be honored, they arent. I never canceled the registration. I never got a cancellation notice. I was unable to pick the unit I wanted, which was really the reason I rented it in the first place. The gate never works. I always have to get out of my car and enter my code. You can't be there past 9:00 More than twice because on the third late checkout they evict you! Sure. The hours are listed on the website, but I didn't realize you literally could not be there after 9:00! Another reason I chose that facility was because a manager lives on site, and they advertise it like it's such a convenience for you to have someone there in case you have a problem. However, In the 3 weeks I've been there , they've had a company policy change where there's no set hours for the manager to be there, so there's no way to quickly get in touch with anyone If you're having an issue, like I was having because I couldn't get my unit to lock properly. To top it all off, the second unit that I rented two buildings over had a small river running through it yesterday which damaged all of the wood furniture that I had on the floor. So now I guess I'll have to elevate everything off the ground which seems like a lot of work for a small extremely expensive unit that is inconveniently placed on the other end of the property. So I got my bill for June 1st and for a unit that was originally $148, and my new unit which is supposed to be $177, for a total of $325, My bill is $385!!! $60 more than the combined total of my original reservation quotes! I looked at local storage, and I can get two units located right next to each other, a 10x25 and a 10x10 for $300 and there's no insurance added in after you make reservation there's no lock fee. There's no hidden fees, it's just a flat rate. Yeah I'm having a terrible experience with public storage. It's expensive. My property has water damage,It's inconvenient, The gate never works, They don't empower their management with any authority, and I've heard nothing from upper management about any of this. First of all they never answer the phone. When I went to get my storage unit I couldn't even get a hold of someone & no one was ever in the office. Second, first storage unit had a leak so some of my things got damaged. So we had to move all our things to another unit. Third, second unit they gave us the doors get jammed really bad & is hard to open and close. almost couldn't get it closed one day until I got help from a stranger. On top of that they keep raising the prices on my unit. I went from paying $124 august 2021 & now it's $192 November 2022 $68 increase in a year. My rent for my apartment doesn't even go up that much. Only $160 in 9 years. If I'm spending that much money here and prices keep going up they need to improve. Don't waste your money or your time. I'd give zero stars if I could. Opened unit to find everything covered in paint dust. They apparently ground up the paint covered flooring which caused thick layers of paint dust to cover all my items. Additionally they'd been in the unit as we found rodent repellent packs when cleaning. It took two days to clean up the mess & yet the paint dust left all my totes dirty. I just signed up for a storage unit. I dealt with Scott, the manager. He is very informative and keeps the storage grounds/lot very clean. He was very professional, kind and patient. He showed me how to use their new mandatory locks that are suppose to be safer from break-ins than the old style locks. I am pleased with how clean the place and my unit is. I am glad for the insurance, but I would like to have known ahead of time that it is mandatory. I would like to have had a couple of days to shop around for insurance of my choice, but overall, I am pleased with the storage unit and I like Scott and how respectful and informative he was. He made the experience very pleasant by recommending express sign up online before coming in. It did save me time. He is very thorough in explaining the hours and all the rules. read more

Wanted to upgrade my unit. The lady printed out the reservation and price. Ask her if we should sign paperwork today and she told me no if I sign on the weekend I would more pro-rated toward the new larger unit. When I came back to do paperwork two days later the price jumped up $40 more. I was shock that when they get to the last units on sizes they raise the price daily. The lady who helped me was nice enough, although I feel like for the size of my unit, the rent is still too high and I am not a fan of the mandatory insurance. When going to sign paperwork and pay she tried to get me to buy a couch cover and insulator beads without even asking me and just acted like she was about to ring them up and charge me anyways before I told her I didn't want them. I am sure that she is trained to do that and it is a crummy sales tactic. I don't like feeling like I don't have a choice in what I'm purchasing (including the mandatory rent). Made me feel a little uncomfortable, but other than that the process was pretty quick and easy. This is my second time renting from here and this time went a lot smoother although we've had a lot of issues with them in the past. I recommend keeping your lock if you plan on using them again that way it will be a lot cheaper the second time around. Depending how this plays out we may or may not switch facilities next semester. read more
