This place is a TOTAL SCAM. I rented a unit, and six months later, they increased the rent by OVER 50%. 6 months after that, they increased rent another 58%. So now my rent is 137% higher than the rent that I agreed to at the time of the rental. These people should be in jail. Oh, and could all the potholes BE any bigger?? read more

Rented an indoor space to store a vehicle while kid was away at college. Rent was $240. Six months later they raised it to $330 - a 38% increase! Now as we close in on ONE year, they are raising it to $460!! Nearly DOUBLE the price I initially rented the same space for a year ago. Once you are moved in, they figure they can raise the price; counting on the idea that it is too big a hassle to go somewhere else. Total Rip off. read more

Amazingly easy from booking to moving in. John was extremely helpful in changing my unit when I needed a bigger one, making sure I got the proper credit/billing. Wes was right there when I arrived with the movers, so courteous and pleasant in directing us to our space and explaining the procedure. Very pleased with the service I received. Absolute garbage excuse for a business. Apparently they are only open BY APPOINTMENT ONLY from 9am-1pm. This information is not listed anywhere. Tried calling and leaving a voicemail with the hope that they would call back with information, instead they called back the following day and asking me to call the same automated voicemail box again. Don't try contacting customer service either, they'll send you to some person in California who will send you to another automated voicemail box. Property manager and district manager are completely unreachable. I will NEVER use this storage company again. Right now, I'm out $120 dollars with no storage unit when I was told I would be able to get into my storage unit today. Not even sure how you even survive as a business. It's an absolute joke. read more

If you are looking for storage look else where. I was here for over a year. When I moved into my "climate controlled" unit (which has an insulated door to the outside) I told them that the seal on the top of the garage door was not there so it was not climate controlled. They took a key of mine and said they would have someone fix it. Over a year later it was still the same way. And they lost my key. I checked with them like 3-4 times over that year and they kept saying they would have someone fix it. If I could give this place no stars I would, but that is not an option. I met someone who works for their maintenance company and was told that they don't care if the units leak because and I quote "they are not responsible for any damage to the customers property" and unless it was something really major they never get service calls to fix things. So if you are looking for storage. I would highly recommend looking somewhere else but not either of the ones in Plymouth off off 55 east bound. They have the same staff and are just as bad. read more

This was my first time using any sort of public storage. After doing some research in the twin cities I determined I would go to the Public Storage in Plymouth in person to check it out. Carol the manager totally blew me away with her customer service. I was very impressed as she was able to answer all my intricate questions and was happy to show me around the facility. I was moving across country from CA so all of my belongings were on a truck being delivered. This same day Wes who also works at Public Storage made sure I had everything I needed to move into my unit - he even offered to help direct the moving truck if I wasn't able to be there in person. I highly recommend this Public Storage facility. read more

This was a wonderful place to rent a storage unit. My ONLY complaint is they bumped my rent up $10.00 after 6 months. I was never told that this would happen when I started. The ability to drive inside to our storage unit is a substantial advantage during our cold MN weather. Also, Carol, the manager, and her assistant, Wes, have been very courteous and helpful in answering our questions, initially showing us around, and making our storage experience pleasant. We will definitely look to the Public Storage on Ranchview Lane in Plymouth, MN for any future local storage needs, and will also contact Public Storage in other locales if the need arises. This is my first storage unit I have ever rented. I have to say super impressed. Carol is the best every. She made me feel like everything was going to be cool at the property when we signed our papers. this is such a nice clean facility I referred my uncle. But with everything that is great there was one bad thing. The only bad thing I could find was the reset room was nasty the only time I used it. If this was clean all the time it would be even better. That's the only reason I had to give this property a 4 star. read more

I needed short term storage until I could move into my new new home. I chose Public Storage because of its cleanliness and wonderful staff. Carol the manager was amazing and was very helpful. I moved on a rainy day and after paying for one storage unit I realized that it was just too small for all my stuff. Carol was amazing as she got me into a unit that would fit all my stuff.
