Don't use them for long term rentals - we would jack up your rent . Mine went from $99 to $411 - lots of hidden fees and god forbid you miss a payment they hit you up with $70, late rent tax, late insurance fee. We picked this place in an emergency situation and I am beyond happy that we did. Our stuff was safe for 6+ months. When we returned to clean out the unit the service was impeccable, specifically Donald. He was friendly and attentive and had answers to all of our questions. Over the 2 day clean out, we not only appreciated his fantastic service but were sad to say goodbye. IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR BELONGINGS, DO NOT STORE THEM WITH THIS LOCATION. I leased a unit from them and this is what occurred: 1. Upon move-in, one of their employees ran over my attache' which was in the loading bay as she was backing her own vehicle out. Oops, she says. Don't worry, we have insurance is what she told me. What she meant was my insurance I had to purchase. 2. THEIR INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER DAMAGED ITEMS UNLESS THEY ARE IN YOUR UNIT. 3. Since my move in with such a disaster I basically just loaded all the boxes in and didn't organize or anything so I went back a week or two later and needed to reorganize everything so I'd be able to find things. I had a 10x10 and so began the arduous process of unboxing sorting and storing my belongings. My code was somehow changed and I couldn't get in. There was nobody at the office so I had to wait. I waited for an hour and then left. I called corporate and they apologized and said there would be somebody there tomorrow. 4. Returned the following day and my code once again did not work. There's somebody in the office this time and I was knocking on the window because the door was locked. There was an older lady in there and at first I thought she couldn't hear me. This was not the case however as she screamed at me to be patient and give her a minute. I sat there fuming outside the glass door for a good 5 minutes before she finally came and opened it. I told her and a bridge version of my experience so far to which she said what do you want me to do about it and it was really rude. And so I said I just need to get to my unit and I did. It was around noon when I got there by the time I got to my unit it was about 1 and I pulled everything out of my unit to start sorting. About an hour into it the same employee comes up and informs me that I have been there too long and I need to wrap it up. Confused I said what do you mean wrap it up I rented this I'm a tenant or don't you remember. She said that I had been there too long and people don't live out of their units and so I need to leave or she's going to call the police for me loitering. Now I'm going to spare everyone the legal definition of loitering as we know this is not it, and we know that if you're a tenant you can't loiter. I informed her of this and she said yeah we'll see about that. Meanwhile this is the time that their insurance company called me and I learned about the non-coverage so there's that. About 30 minutes later I hear the squawk of police radios and saw three of Phillies finest around the corner as I'm sitting there with a slew of boxes and labels and markers and tape and my belongings being sorted. They inform me that she wants me to leave to which I said I rent this I could be here as long as I want. The cops didn't want to get in the middle of it and said look it's almost closing anyway when he just wrap up and then we can all just go home. I was pretty livid about this time and had had about enough so I spoke to them explain what happened by the time we were even close to going down to talk to the employee it was already something like 4: 30. We only have access there until 6:00 or something. And figuring the remainder of the time there I would do nothing but argue with somebody who really couldn't make a decision beyond her own stupidity I just wrapped up and left. There's much more but this is already long enough I'm sure thanks for reading if you made it all the way down here. Needless to say save yourself and your belongings from this dishonest borderline scam of a storage facility. After raising issue with the manager she basically agreed and agreed and did nothing but say she was in the process. She was certainly in the process in the process of diverting any accountability to corporate. The staff here is just looking to go home and will do anything to avoid what amounts to the minimum amount of effort that their position requires. They will however go out of their way if they feel disrespected or you don't follow their orders to the smallest detail. The access hours were terrible I got locked in a few times as well And despite corporate supporting me the location itself did nothing but chastise berate and exemplify every quality that you don't want in an organization you're trusting with your belongings never mind paying them to abuse you. It will cost you less money and frustration to just light your belongings on fire. At least fire predictably performs as expected. Ps. DO NOT TRUST THIS IS FACILITY NOT SECURE !!!!! Do Not store Valuable and think this facility will be secure !!!! They do not have indoor cameras just outdoors And there are thief's that take your stuff and store them into other lockers and then move out. The people that work at this location are great this is directed at the corporate AHole douche bags that come up with their "policies". Charged me for a whole months rent even after I moved out! Beware they have a very stupid company wide policy, not just in Philadelphia. I moved out on 12/2 and they charged me for the whole month! All they say is "That's our policy". Yeah but that doesn't make it right! Your charging people for what they haven't used. If they were a decent company then their policies would reflect the ethical treatment of their customers. Treating people like crap and squeezing as much money out of them with zero regard for fairness or customer satisfaction is not a viable long term strategy. I will NEVER use this company in the future and will go out of my way to influence everyone else not to. Now was that worth an extra months rent? Being greedy and unethical and creating an army of unhappy customers is a sure way to lose in the long term. read more

I rented at the south Swanson St Philadelphia location for over a year and had so many issues. I would go in person to pay and there would be no one in the office the last few hours they were open, I would get a late fee because I only had cash to pay that day and they would promise to remove it when I came back but never did. Eventually after some financial struggles my unit ended up being scheduled for auction but I knew I'd be able to pay it off before the auction date. I called the office to ask what minimum amount would be needed to cancel the auction and was told $200 so while on the phone with them I paid $300 to be safe. The next day I was admitted to the ER and held a few days for emergency surgery. I went online to pay the remainder of my balance and was informed I no longer had a unit. That the full balance had to have been paid the day I called and WAS LIED TO. This location is a scam. I've had plenty of other issues with them but these were the worst. I lost my entire childhood of memories as well as so many irreplaceable mementos and all my business equipment. Worst rental experience of my life. read more

I was easily able to navigate their online rental. Prior to my move-in date, I stopped by the facility... had all my questions answered. Move-in day, I was greeted by a very friendly associate. She explained how to use pin pad, to gain access. This being my first time ever using a storage facility, I am very pleased and would highly recommend this establishment to anyone who asks. Very clean, well lit and convenience of equipiment to make moving in an ease. read more

My first visit to check out the space was great - nice facility, very nice gentleman working the desk. My second trip to move my stuff in was less than pleasant - as soon as I walked on the girl on the desk accused my driver of breaking the garage door. She was rude to him and me. Turns out, as he was backing in where she told him to, the door came down on his trailer. I requested the managers number and left two messages neither of which were returned. Since both garage doors were broken they had to call a repair company who then told us that they were there all the time fixing those garage doors and the sensors were placed to close to the ground which was why it shut before they could back in. I did get an apology before I left, but the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. The facility itself is very nice though. read more
