do not store your belongings here! my items were stolen from my unit!! my professional camera (nikon d5600) was stolen. it was inside a camera backpack specifically made to carry it. the only things left behind were items with little to no value, like clothes. i have zero family or friends in florida who have access to my storage unit. i have been traveling through central america for the past year, and i only used this unit to store my camera equipment. this definitely feels like an inside job. when i reported it, they told me to file a police report because it is now a "civil matter." be careful storing valuable items here. ps. i realized later on as well they also stole 2 pairs of shoes and an old laptop. this is an inside job . do not store your items here read more

Raised my monthly rent by 50% after only 5 months. Do not rent with any Public Storage unless you want to get robbed.

The new ownership absolutely destroyed this business. There is no on one on site to help with anything, they raised their fees without notification, and the facility is unkempt. They took this business from first to worst in a few months. unfortunately they are less 1/2 mile from my home but I am now moving to a storage facility 2 miles away. look elsewhere! read more

Public Storage on Air Center Court is a wonderful place to store everything you value and need to store. It also has parking spaces for rent as well. The Staff is great especially Marisol!! She is kind courteous and professional always! She also keeps the property clean, greets guests with her continuous kindness and confidence as well as treating each customer with kindness even though it's really, really hot in Orlando Florida this time of year. I flew in from Seattle at 6 pm. Called this company over & over, left messages that I could not open door to unit where I was storing my car. Noticed fellow had trouble opening door when I leleft car in unit. Stood in storage lot over an hour calling national number with recording that did not address my problem. Left messages for manager to call, never called. I had 3 pcs. of luggage, no car & felt sick. Walked to hotel next door, got room, hotel run down, another review for this place later. . Again, no car & eanted to be on site to get car in the morning. Public storage is the worst company I've ever dealt with. No one at national number at night for customer service. Will try to get someone to come open door on unit in the morning & if I can't get help will call police to see if they can help. Will never do business with this company again!! read more

Had my possessions stored in someone's unit that was up for auction. All I wanted were my photographs, paperwork and my relatives ashes along eith a family bible. I was denied access to these things and was told that they were up for auction regardless. The property manager that I spoke too was very cold hearted and extremely rude. I spoke to an agent with corporate and was informed the issue would be escalated and sent directly to the PMs district manager. I called on behalf of the Casselberry, Fl location for the Public Storage there. I was also informed by corporate that despite the unit not being in my name I should of at least had that right to claim my personal memorabilia before auction. read more

I was supposed to be moving into a home with a 2 car garage. Plenty of room to move my full garage, plus my apartment. Unfortunately, that fell through, and I needed to find a place to move my things into quickly. I went to another storage place and the unit was musty, and the gate was a little off track. I was stuck for a large enough space, so I went home and thought about it, and decided I could clean the space and cover my things with plastic, so I called and they had a great deal and I ran back and they closed the lights after they told me they would wait for me to get there. So I went back home, and did some more looking, and I found a larger unit for much less money, and I put a reservation in for it. Marisol called me at 9:30 the next morning, and made an appointment for me to see the unit. I got there, and the office was super clean, and Marisol was super nice. She showed me the unit, which was in fantastic condition. No mold spores to attach to my things. A few people who were at their units spoke to her by name. And she greeted everyone she saw. Then she explained the whole process, and got me checked out in a very short time. I would absolutely recommend this location, and especially the property manager, Marisol, to anyone needing storage. read more

Had a appointment. Door was locked. Waited 20 minutes for someone to show up. Was quoted a price for unit. Rented unit the 13th but they charged you for one full month a the prorated month. Only needed the unit for a couple of weeks so could remodel my house. . New flooring. Would not let me pay for the prorated month. Had to pay for full month and they will not refund any unused time. So two weeks of rental for a 10x10 cost over $200. Tried to push insurance on me even though I have my own insurance. On line they offered a military discount but would not honor in office. Have used this public storage before never had this issue but after this stay will not use again. Plus the one free month deal only applies to certain units. read more

Nothing to do with the staff but rather the company's lack of integrity. They initially told us $89.34 for first month second month was $108.95, third to six month $112.70 seventh month $158.87 VIOLATING THE COMPANY LEASE TERMS. No advance 30 day notice of a price increase nor any other contact JUST A PAY YOUR BILL NOW. To top it off their staff say "every renter has had an increase" and made us feel as if we were the only ones with the size storage. What they think consumers DO NOT READ the small print. Nonsense this morning a prompt "Your payment is due immediately. You must pay this amount in full. Your unit is about to go into auction." only because WE ONLY PAID $112.70 until we get in writing the reason for the $46.17 increase this month. If there was a 0 star I would select it. BOooooooo to you Public Storage for lack of integrity!!! read more

I've only been using public storage facilities for one day, but so far it's been a good experience. I needed some temporary storage for some overflow of product. I made a reservation online and came in later in the day to finalize everything and start moving things in. Check-in was pretty quick and easy. It took about 25 minutes total to finalize everything. That included her bringing me to the unit and showing it to me before I rented it. I got the storage unit on a promotion which was $25 for the first month. There's a mandatory insurance you have to purchase which was I think $11 a month plus an administrative fee and tax excetera. It came out to around $59 for 10 x 15 unit for one month. Pretty good deal. Next month it a will go up to 127 plus the fees and insurance Which is still cheaper than the other for storage facilities I checked. So it's a sweet deal. John was great to work with. I reserved online and within 30 minutes he had already called me to arrange a time to meet with him to view the storage unit and sign my lease. John was very knowledgeable, made sure I understood the process since I had never rented a storage unit before and verified I had everything I needed for my unit. He doesn't just hand you a stack of paper and codes and let you figure it out like I'm sure many places do. John personally takes you to your unit, lets you see that it will be enough space, shows you how the locks work and explains how to use the access gates and door. I had a small air conditioned unit. You have to buy the lock. You HAVE to buy the insurance. There was a small vent over my unit's door. I believe someone got in this way and stold my TV and my guitar. A guitar may seem insignificant to most but it broke my heart to have lost that guitar. I filed a police report and I called the insurace. The insurace did not do anything because the "lock" wasn't tampered with therefore it was not covered. It was the worst experience ever. I will never, ever forget the way that made me feel. Please be careful. Make sure there is no opening to your unit. read more
