Filthy place with only 1 cart on each floor to move boxes, items from your car to your unit so if someone is using that cart you will be waiting.half hour or more for access. The bathrooms are permanently bolted shut & not accessible. Two months after moving in they will DOUBLE your monthly rent fee. If you complain the manager will say she will give you 3 more months at your original sign on rate so you don't move but when you try to pay the next month you'll see only a cheap $7 credit, not the original rate as the manager promised. If you value your sanity...use a different storage company because the stress dealing with this insanity, will make you regret ever choosing to do business with Public Storage. read more

I used for vehicle storage and this is not a good option. The raise the rates significantly almost immediately and the continue to raise them by about 20% each year despite most spaces being empty. The market does not support it which is why we and others canceled and moved elsewhere. other places also offer better things like a plug and 24 hour access in addition to level spots. The property is average. The door to the dumpster has a broken hinge and has for about a month maybe more. Since it is an unmanned property, they don't know when things are broken and contacting Public Storage is a pain in the @$$. There are no humans at the property so you have to contact a person through the kiosk, or call, which is also time consuming. Overall I was going to give them a moderate rating, then when we cancelled our unit on Jan 7th we were informed that they do not prorate. I'm sure it was in the fine print of the exceptionally long document you sign when you start with them, but holding 24 days worth of payments is slimy and cheap. They will rent that unit out within the week because of the demand in this area, but they gladly steal from their current and now former customers. #Shady read more

Rented a storage space this week at the Indian Trail Public Storage on Hwy 74. WILL was extremely accommodating this week helping me decide what size building we needed. TOM wasn't so bad either. It would be nice to have those fellas there in person everyday (especially Will) or Jessica she was top notch also. Stopped what she was doing to help us and another customer. it's nice dealing with real people when you can instead of a kiosk or by phone (hint, hint). read more

I received an email letting me know that there had been a fire on the first floor and the resulting water damage "might have affected some of my items in storage". Understatement of the century. Then, after I remove the contents and leave the space empty on 6/1/24, they send emails and call me saying that I owe them for June rent. You've been warned. Don't do it. read more

This facility is clean and well-maintained. Love being able to always get a cart and wheel it down to my unit - wide hallways, no sharp turns that I can't maneuver, and even a restroom right there on the first floor! This has everything "Uncle Bobs" doesn't, which is why I am consolidating all I need to store to this unit. Darlene is very nice and knowledgeable about her facility and makes it a pleasure to come there. Highly recommend! read more

Been using Public Storage since May. When I first signed up with them, I was somewhat of a disgruntled customer since they were on the more pricier units in the area, and I was not told I needed to buy insurance for $15 a month during my quote. However, I will give a 4 star review because I enjoy how they have carts by the door, and because Darlene at the front desk today was very personable. Great option for someone who is looking more for month to month instead of a more long term unit. read more

I have been a customer for this particular location for about a year now. At first the service and communication was fluent and professional. After 5 months the communication disappeared and everything was done through mail. Also, please be mindful to read the fine print because public storage will raise your monthly agreement without a call or email. They will send it in the mail and automatically raise your rent with or without talking to you first. But they will always call you each month to let you know when the bill is due. I will be leaving this storage site soon but I advise everyone to think twice before using Public Storage read more

Made a reservation to store a boat at this facility - received a nasty call from someone Friday night 01/18 - was supposed to move in 01/19 - never received a phone call back - Called gain Saturday still no call back...(wanted to make sure that facility was secure) monthly rent was supposed to be 131.00 w/ first month free - now my reservation is gone and the same space is over $300 - little bait and switch? Not happy... no way I was going all the way up to Mooresville, NC and to show up with a 35 foot boat, just to be told that it wasn't available or that there was no access.. etc... read more
