    If I could give zero stars I would…read more Kim is the absolute worst employee that I have ever had experience with. I warn you about her she has the nastiest attitude. A month ago I had gone up there with my mom (who at the time just had a knee operation and could hardly walk) to get the key to the lock they had put on our storage so we could replace it with our own. My mom stayed in the truck while I went into the office to ask for the key and Miss Kim gave me the rudest attitude when I stated that I had come inside for my mother who can barely walk to get the key but she didn't want to hear it she yelled at me that my mom had to come inside. And then just this past Sunday my mother, sister, fiancé, and I all go to empty out her unit (to move her to a MUCH MUCH BETTER ONE), but we had to call and get another lock taken off our unit and Miss Kim was there AGAIN. My mom had called 30min prior to being there and told her that she was going to be there a few mins before 5pm and Kim told her that she was NOT going to stay 1 minute past 5pm because she had things to do after work. When my fiancé and I arrived at 5:07pm she was still there! And my mom had left to go get water for us around 6:30-7pm she was still there!!My mother has been a customer for 11 years and has put up with an outrageous rent increase and rude employees. Do better cubesmart.

Once I unpack and confirm billing has stopped for the next months I'll update (if there's any issues). Other than that... Dana, Paige and Nikki are AMAZING! This is my first time using storage and I didn't have to haggle. I didn't have to double check on charges or deal with any drama! In fact, Paige called to let me know that my account was not on auto pay (I thought I had set it up but that was something else). I was so happy she called!! After that it was plug and play. I ended up doing the unit longer and when I came out I was half expecting to maybe have some type of issue with maybe bugs or you know just regular stuff it was inside and air-conditioned but I figured there's gonna be some thing you know since it has been so many months. Everything was great for him as far as what I can tell if anything changes I will come back and update. This was one of the most positive experiences not only from calling around other places, but pricing, location and cleanliness. The biggest and most impressive part was when they cut the lock for me because I had left the keys in another state. They were able to give me a very good price for the extra work and I was incredibly grateful rather than having to call a locksmith! Dana is amazing! I absolutely love these three ladies! Great work! He asked for a copy of our original lease and they sent a NEW lease with the new rates they had filled in, not the original lease he asked for. It was modified after signing it. When the call ended, apparently Karen thought she had disconnected, but she was still on the line, and she called my husband an asshole. He called her back immediately and she said she was calling HERSELF names because she was frustrated. And she is the manager!

I was moving from out of state, and had signed up for a promotion they were running on their website for around $10 a month for the smallest unit for the first 6 months. After the initial purchase on the website for around $20 with fees, I got a call from their staff to set up a time to actually come in and sign paperwork, which I was going to do 5 days later after the move was completed. Fast forward 5 days, I look at my bank account, and Simply Self Storage had charged me just over $90 in various fees. I was furious. I called the office on Andrews, where the lady was very rude. She explained all these ridiculous fees they tacked onto the account, like a lock fee (when I would have provided my own), insurance fees (when I already have renters insurance), and a bunch of other nonsense. While I was upset, I had been nothing but courteous up until the point when I asked for a refund, at which point the lady became extremely rude, and refused to give a refund for anything. Mind you, while yes, one of their small storage units sat empty for 5 days, they never actually provided a service. Heck, at that point I hadn't even gone in to sign paperwork and agree to terms. What really pissed me off too is that she wouldn't even refund the $20 (ish) fee for the damn lock, when I literally hadn't even used a lock yet. At that point I just told the lady I would be disputing the charges with my bank and hung up, and dispute the charges I did, and obviously cancelled the storage unit. Little did I know the nightmare was not over. Fast forward ANOTHER 6 months, and I get a letter in the mail stating that I have been sent to collections by this pathetic company, for a whopping $67. I was and still am absolutely speechless. In addition to the $90 dollars they charged when I first signed up, they charged me an ADDITONAL $67, money for which they never mailed a bill for, never texted me, never called me, never emailed me, when they had all of that information to be able to do so. I didn't even have a damn account with them on their website, so how was I even supposed to know they were charging me more money? Of course, I called the storage place again to figure out why the heck they think I owe them even more money, and their excuse is that the storage unit was still 'used' for 5 days, even though I never even came in to do anything, let alone use the unit. Oh and naturally the lady is still rude, and refuses to even try to do anything to help. So now I had to call this bill collector, who according to the BBB website is notorious for being very rude and very persistent, and shell out an additional $67 to just get this nightmare handled once and for all. Thankfully the guy was actually very nice, and even made sure the issue didn't show up on my credit report, but the fact that this joke of a company thought they were owed even more money, a total of around $157, for renting their smallest unit for 5 days, is absolutely mind boggling. This whole ordeal was literally thievery. Honestly, how the hell do you justify charging that much money when someone had a unit for 5 days and then cancelled it? Particularly when the reason they cancelled it is because YOU didn't honor your own promotion. Seriously, stay away from this place.
