To my dismay my property had sustained over 5000.00 in damages that resulted from exposure to water. There was substantial mold and mildew despite my property being in a " climate controlled" unit. Family photos were destroyed as were over 200 vinyl records and 3500 sports cards. Photos were immediately provided to the front office and I was advised by them that they had spoken with corporate who stated they would not accept any responsibility for my loss. I filed a complaint with BBB and corporate still has not contacted me regarding my experience with their company. Everything was great for him as far as what I can tell if anything changes I will come back and update. This was one of the most positive experiences not only from calling around other places, but pricing, location and cleanliness. The biggest and most impressive part was when they cut the lock for me because I had left the keys in another state. I moved them out today, the 6th, and they won't prorate the month. This seems a bit unfair. I have been with them for 5 years or more, enduring numerous price hikes. I was told that if I had called and informed them I was leaving, they would have prorated it. What's the difference? That was never said to me in the beginning. I appreciate the convenience of the place, but some of the staff in the past have been extremely rude. Not today, but I think the prorating policy is so wrong. It's the first week of the month, and things were closed most of the time due to the weather. It was just disappointing!

A month ago I had gone up there with my mom (who at the time just had a knee operation and could hardly walk) to get the key to the lock they had put on our storage so we could replace it with our own. My mom stayed in the truck while I went into the office to ask for the key and Miss Kim gave me the rudest attitude when I stated that I had come inside for my mother who can barely walk to get the key but she didn't want to hear it she yelled at me that my mom had to come inside. And then just this past Sunday my mother, sister, fiancé, and I all go to empty out her unit (to move her to a MUCH MUCH BETTER ONE), but we had to call and get another lock taken off our unit and Miss Kim was there AGAIN. My mom had called 30min prior to being there and told her that she was going to be there a few mins before 5pm and Kim told her that she was NOT going to stay 1 minute past 5pm because she had things to do after work. When my fiancé and I arrived at 5:07pm she was still there! And my mom had left to go get water for us around 6:30-7pm she was still there!!My mother has been a customer for 11 years and has put up with an outrageous rent increase and rude employees. Back in the day management turned the lights and electricity on as soon as it got dark outside. Now they turned them on extremely late and people can't do nothing because of no power. I hope they can fix this soon as possible. Other than that, no issues.
