Please stay far far away from this public storage, the experience I've had here has been atrocious. Due to a leak in my storage no one even asked hey do you want to go to another storage? I lost a 2k couch due to leak in my storage. Luckily I had orange door insurance which is also a disaster-stay far away from it. I even reached out to the regional manager Tom multiple times via email, his response was he can't credit me anything regarding the storage. I would have to pay for it, or you would lose all your items. I called back again to Tom to see if he can do anything about getting a credit. His response was I would have to ask my colleagues to see what I can do. This was a few days before Christmas, now look it's January 16th. I emailed him yesterday and no response. This is the thing no one wants to take accountability for this, I was told by Tom this storage was inspected before it was rented out. Well damn Tom I guess you didn't inspect the storage properly. If you look at the pictures, my couch ended up getting mildew due to the leak from the ceiling.oh yeah by the way public storage will increase your rate 3 months after you sign up. Another 53 dollars on top of their expensive storage prices. so before you think of public storage check out other options prior to coming here. Update: I found out Tom no longer works there, didn't have the courtesy to say before he left that I will send your case to my manager. I found out another person took over Tom's position and in the process of helping me out. Hopefully something gets done as soon as possible. read more

Anytime I needed help at the unit, there was no one ever there. Every time I called, no one never answered. I was asked to leave a voicemail and took someone several days to call back. The hours on the door and on the voicemail was never correct because I found out that someone only shows up there by appointment only. I was lied to in the very beginning and told I needed to buy their lock and that I can return it once I am done renting the unit. When I finally able to cancel, I was told that I can not return the lock and it was mine to keep. But the lock is specially made for those units. There is no way to use it for anything else. Do not buy their locks, it is a scam. it clearly states it is a deposit and will be refunded when returned. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. When I initially put my things into storage here, no one explained that they can raise their rates at anytime with NO cap. So after only 3 months of having my things in storage they raised it $70. Then a year later, raised it again another $70. I called to see if they could lower it and they would not. So I decided to move my stuff out and into another storage facility. Mind you, the 10x10 unit I have is supposed to be temperature controlled. Well, upon arriving I see my boxes completely chewed through by termites. How is this possible if it is supposed to be temperature controlled? Thank god I'm moving my stuff out. I have all brand new things in there also like a couch, new kitchen table with chairs. Thank god I showed up when I did. I called the customer service number (because I couldn't get a hold of the property manager) and they did nothing except transfer me to the property manager who again did not answer the phone. I have a 20x20 unit. It started out at $171 in January 2019, then went to $205 in May, then to $252 in February 2020, then $289 in February 2021, and finally $398 in January 2022. It has more than doubled in 3 years, all the while IT HAS BEEN BROKEN INTO TWICE, there are black widows living in the unit - yes, black widows and now there are boats and things parked along the fence making it very difficult to get a trailer backed to it. We're done, moving the rest out this weekend. read more

I highly recommend here. The price was great for what we needed. It's gated and very secured. Not too much traffic where this is located. Was easily able to drive a u-haul in and out. Kyle made sure to accommodate every need we had. He was SO great and had such amazing character. He was the best part of our experience. Local employees on site are great and eager to help. However, corporate is awful and so I can not recommend this company. I rented a unit 5 years ago. Rent is always low to begin to get you to move in, but starts increasing significantly (20% plus) with little notification every 6mo or so probably hoping you have autopay and won't notice. Then when I notice the increase, I have to call, get put on endless hold until I can't wait any more. Hang up. Then call back days later sometimes multiple times until I finally get a person, who transfers me to customer service, who puts me on hold again until someone finally says they will reduce some of the increase in rent. Finally this year, they increased rent from $174/mo to $309/mo (44% increase) and after endless waiting for customer service again, this time they said they could not reduce my rent all. SO I AM MOVING OUT. I am fine with paying a reasonable rate increase each year that is comparable to inflation, but this is insane. However, the positive is that I am now highly motivated to get rid of all these things I don't need. And the irony is that this company could be making much more money by keeping rates increasing with inflation so that I would continue to put off the unpleasant task of downsizing. In conclusion the lesson is obvious - raising rent too much is pretty bad business model for retaining loyal customers. If you just nicked rent up by 5% each year you would likely make a lot more money in the long run. Corporate lost my business and gained a bad review. read more

I had a 10x10 unit rented for the online price of $69.00/month, I get an email saying that the rent is going up to $77.00/mo about 3 months later. I look online and the online rental is actually $57.00/mo and the walk in rental is $69.00/mo. Why are they raising my price $20.00 more than it is advertised for? They assume you will not move out and get a new unit elsewhere. That is some real shady business there. read more

The reservation is only reserving the online price, not a unit at the location you selected. Get there and they try to sell you so much more add ons. They say you have to have insurance on your unit and show you three options they have while going extremely fast over the contract. Make sure you read the terms and conditions because while reading over it says you just need some kind of insurance aka your homeowners insurance/renters insurance covers storage units. Make sure you bring a lock the day of or else you will be charged double the price of one of the locks they sell. Just felt rushed to purchase more than just renting a unit. Take your time and do yourself a favor and read what your signing. They will try and rush through it and give you false information. Caught them off guard when I read it and questioned it. I as well am upset at the fact I got another unit somewhere else due to this and they have a lock on my unit when my bill wasn't even past due but yet they didn't put a lock on it last time till like a few weeks later.. I would not recommend this Public Storage, because of two reasons. The first reason is that, we got ROBBED TWICE because this place is not secure at all, the reason we got robbed was because the gate was broken for 3 weeks. Secondly, they treated us so unfairly in several other ways. read more

I have rented and stored many places from small units to vehicle size. This location is clean and fairly new. The unit I have has fairly large gaps around the walls between my unit and the next, its also full of spiders/webs. I have experienced the automatic gate stuck in the open position often. The key pad to get out is working but damaged and not repaired well. I was forced to buy a lock when I rented although I had locks on the unit I was moving from I had not brought one with me so I was forced by the Property Manager Laurena to purchase one for $20. Then I was "pushed" to purchase Damp-Rid from them at almost $7 a package. You can buy Damp-Rid in a 2pack for $4.50 on Amazon. They should just give it out for free to first time renters if they think its so necessary. read more
