On June 26, 2025, I was told my unit was broken into and items were stolen. Auction was canceled just 2 hours before ending without informing me. The manager pressured me to pay my balance and sign a waiver before seeking compensation. This is unacceptable and raises questions about security. Be careful using this storage facility.

She was extremely not helpful. She did say after a fairly long talk that she could put in a work order if I wanted. Hell yeah I wanted. Never heard anything else about it. Called the facility probably about a dozen times and left messages. No response. Looked up DM. Nothing but a general 800 number where you can't even leave a message. Also called the one on Independence and left multiple messages, 4 today alone. No response. After I was unable to access my unit, and they offered no assistance until 2 days before the end of the month, they have blocked my access code for non-payment of December. Realistically I should probably be refunded for November, as they offered no help to access the facility. I would have had everything out had I been able to access it, and had it not rained every day so far this month. Why in the hell should I be required to pay for December when they did nothing to allow me access in November when I was paid in full? Horrible customer service, and overpriced compared to local competitions. I DO NOT RECOMMEND RENTING FROM PUBLIC STORAGE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. The one time that I was able to talk to the site manager, she was extremely disrespectful and nasty. Called be five times within 30 minutes and left nasty messages because I left a chair outside over night.

Since then the price has gone up every month to much more than it is worth! The grounds are poorly maintained and full of junk. The Security Gate is often left open, as is the door to their Climate Controlled Building. The office is often closed during business hours; they don't answer the phone. Employees aren't particularly helpful or courteous. I don't feel safe here. The new ownership refuses to honor our previous agreement to prorate my last month. Save yourself the headaches and go elsewhere.
