Moving in was a literal headache. For some reason, the Flowers Mill location didn't have office staff and there was nobody there to help me locate my unit. I drove around like an idiot trying to find where it was because the doors were not labeled properly. The experience was extremely frustrating and disorganized. It is not a dollar first of all that is a lie it is a trick to get you to come in. It's about 52 to $55 no matter what you do that is the lowest price you will pay to move at. After 2 months you're going to pay like $125 to 150. So please do not fall victim to the $1 move-in they give you enough other fees to make it just as expensive as a monthly. I moved in on Friday, 11/4/22 it was a fairly simple event. I was later notified in a text to download the PS app to make things easier, which I did. I used the app from my phone upon arrival on 11/5 the gate opened with getting out of the car or using the keypad. Upon departure, it prompts to "open" and after passing thru, it gives the "close" options. Very convenient and easy to use. An added note, I got an approved lock from Walmart for $13. Took it to the office and they refunded my card $21.19 when I returned their lock. Nice! read more

Very easy move in process. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because they don't let you book too far in advance. We were planning our move for several months and had to pay an extra month, because I could t book it the way I wanted to. You can only book the month of but if you're doing a cross country move, you can't depend on whether the facility will have the size of the space you are looking for. So if I want to book a space in May, I have to wait to approach that week before I can book it. I tried to cal their office but no one would pick up. I called the 1800 number and they could only help me so much. They told me someone would be calling me the day before our rental started to confirm and no one ever did. read more

When I leased a storage unit at this Public Storage about 9 years ago, it was with the intention that I would only have it for a short time, and then be done with it. Such are the empty intentions of this good man. I finally ended my relationship with these folks yesterday. What had been a reasonable $80 dollar a month rental had become more than $230 a month, and was taking a bite out of my budget. No one to blame but me, yet there is a lesson to be learned about procrastination and the cost of delay. I learned it! The office people were always great to deal with. They even suggested ways to reduce costs. In fact, it was their positive attitude that finally woke me up to the need to be done with their services. This operation demonstrates that there is a business available for any need. Not so in every country, but in the USA, if you need a place to hold a generation of furniture you will likely never use, but to which you have an emotional attachment, free enterprise will provide you with the means to accomplish that end. I rented a unit from this Public Storage facility a week ago. I finally went there in person yesterday with my movers to store some of my personal items that did not fit in my new place. The movers were a bit difficult and impatient. Ty was nothing but courteous. He went above and beyond to accommodate us all the while maintaining his cool. I needed to rent a long-term parking spot for a boat & trailer that I was in the process of acquiring, I found the perfect spot at the Flowers Mill Rd location. Large, paved parking spot with easy access and very close to home. I completed the rental agreement on 8/2/22, on 8/5/22 they mailed me a notice stating due to major upcoming construction all RV/Boat parking would permanently be eliminated from this location effective 9/1/22. The only reason for the 1 star rating is I feel the availability of said parking spot was misrepresented and I was not made aware of the upcoming construction at the time I completed the rental agreement. Had that information been presented to me at the time I started the rental process of the spot, I would have probably rented a spot somewhere else that would be long-term. Now I've spent $149 for a spot I haven't and cannot use. I am currently pursuing getting a refund of that $149. read more

Seemed to easy! Reserved a storage unit online. Went and saw the unit we were renting to make sure it was the right size. Changed our unit reservation date to an earlier date with no problem. Wow. Knew this was bad when I first arrived there. Smoke pot much? Office wreaked of pot and storage space looked awful. Bad upkeep and then really strange story about space shown not being available. Avoid this place. Went over to CubeSmart where trustworthy people work and the place is immaculate. My next review is a favorable one for them. Only gave this place an undeserving star because I don't know how to give less. read more

Initiallly my experience was very good. The young lady that set up my account was knowledgeable and helpful. The manager is difficult at best. They increased my payment after a couple of months by over $60. Did not get notification even as I receive their promotion emails. Customer service reversed the late fee but fail to inform me I was locked out of the property. The office people at the time were not very helpful either. One of them made me fear leaving the storage place and my things behind. I called customer service and there is a number if you have an issue with a manager. It does not work read more

I rented a storage unit for 3 months and removed my things on the 4th of the month after paying for the full month on the 1st which is what I was told to do. Upon removing my belongings the manager said that they could not refund the prorated amount until our payment had been fully processed. I never received the refund and have called 5 separate times to speak to the manager and have never heard a word back from them. I will continue to call until I receive my money back because I refuse to pay a full month when I only had the unit for 4 days. read more

Trash! Moved in the 15th. They prorated my 1st month w/o me agreeing to it or even knowing about it. They conveniently dont prorate if you want to end your lease mid month. So far so good. I was pleased that my first month's rent was $1. The only thing that bothered me a little bit was there wasn't much lighting and that there was a bad smell around my storage area. There was also insects biting me while I was unloading. I do not know if that is a problem that could be resolved but they should look into it. read more

Last minute we have to. And nobody likes having to move from their home into a friend's house you have to get rid of pretty much everything or you have to pay for a storage unit. And well I searched that was not going to pay $100 a month for a freaking Side by 5. When I needed at least 5 or 10. I look at other public storage's and I remembered that I had gone to this one specifically two years ago and I was very satisfied with the customer service. Well if I buy 10 was actually wait cheaper at this location than any location within 10 miles. So I have to travel another two miles to go to a location that's going to save me over $40 heck yeah. I went to the location and I had great customer service from a young lady named Elicia. He actually have a conversation with me like a normal human being. Well, I would give five stars, but I take one star away due to the company as a whole, and a few repairs awaiting parts.. That is because the 1-800 number isn't quite useful at answering questions with consistent answers or information regarding locations. In fact, they wouldn't give me the number to the location on flowers mill because....? They DID help my find cheaper locations, which is pretty cool (yes, location affects pricing, so consider that). Anyhow, I found the number to the Flowers Mill office my own way. Once I spoke to Flowers mill rd. location, I got slightly different info than the 1-800 people. That happens. I like these guys. They might be fairly "frank" about things, but once you get familiar with them, they really become human beings and quite comfortable to deal with, at that. The whole staff at this location has become a happy sight for me, when I stop by my storage space. We always stop and talk for a spell and there does seem to be a level of care and compassion and a friendship behind these people. Selinda is the one I look most forward to dealing with. Very business oriented, yes, but inside, there is a big heart with plenty of room to share stories and life in general. I feel a bond there, and that matters. You might not care about that, but I do. These aren't just people taking my money. I like them. There are new gates being installed which is nice, and several modifications are on the menu. This is late January now, and I suspect that some time in February, you will be dealing with a facility that is efficient, safe, secure and clean. Make sure you talk to these people and let them know your needs and concerns. They will be more than willing to find what is best for you, and they have plenty of options to offer. The pricing is not bad and actually better than many other locations, the first month is 1 dollar for a 5x10 space (there is a 24 dollar admin fee, and you will need insurance, but EVERY place requires those two things). Some places don't even offer a first month discount. My unit is clean, secure and well illuminated. The ceiling in my unit is really tall, which is great because many other places will have a 6 or 7 foot ceiling and a few are less! Every section has fire extinguishers - something I have not seen at some facilities! I will be doing a follow up review in about a month or so in order to let you guys know how things are going. I have been here since October, and I am pretty happy but looking forward to the improvements, which I expect to see with much optimism. Yeah, I would recommend this place, especially if you don't want to spend more than what seems reasonable. And there are a couple of storage facilities in the area that I would avoid like the plague, for various reasons (ONE of them rhymes with Sclanet Pelf Lorage in Fairless Hills where a friend is most unfortunately a customer, and their fees go up significantly more than the average each year). Bad experience, would not recommend. Went to get something from my indoor unit one night but was unable to do so because the indoor lights didn't work. Office was closed so there was no one to give assistance. Too dark and creepy to enter without lighting! Also, they aren't great at returning phone calls. read more

I was very disappointed by the customer service at this particular location. They're office hours are supposed to be until 6 on weekdays and I got there at 5:50 only to find that they were not open. When I expressed my frustration with management staff, I was met with a rude and unapologetic response. In a nutshell I was told, and I paraphrase, to get over it and that there was nothing they could do for me. I understand that things happen and are out of our control but kindness and compassion are always attainable. Very displeased! read more
