This company is full of shit, and definitely more for the company then they are there customer.. I got a storage unit here after my dad passed away to put a few of his belongings away, long story short. I missed two payments and then Sue called me stating she was auctioning off my property.. I told her I would pay the bill in a few days Friday is when I got my first check from a new job.. Mind you it was a Tuesday. She told me there was nothing she could do. So I call the General manager and same scenario. I explained to sue and the GM what was in the storage, some of my clothes my dads pictures and my dads computer with all his information and family photos. Not one item you can make a fortune off was in the unit. I told her my father recently died from a rear cancer disorder. Which he passed within 6 months of diagnosis and I recently had to move from his house do to it being foreclosed that's the reason I needed public Storage's help because I thought my dads last items would be safe there. They ended up selling my unit then giving my phone number to the dummy who got fooled into purchasing a few pairs of clothes my dads computer and my family photos. Well the guy had enough nerve to call me asking for the password so he could get into my fathers computer... Some fuckin nerve I tell you these people have no compassion for there customers what so ever. Its all about money.. When signing the contract for the storage unit they should go over the fact they will sell your shit if you miss a payment I wouldn't have got the storage.. Instead they repetitively say a bunch of bullshit that makes you wish you never walked foot in there door you just want them to shut up and give you the key so you can get on with your day... If you have any items of high dollar value make sure there not going I to this place you would be better off finding much more customer friendly company that will work with you if a hard time comes about and you can't make a payment that month. All these other reviews are bullshit on here and most likely sue friends or family writing his wonderful of a person she and public storage is. I am writing a review for two locations since i had stuff at two different locations after we had to get a bigger unit. After a returned phone call from the district manager all issues were resolved. The policies that are in place are very clear and prior to renting it is good to understand those in full detail before making a decision to give up cash for a storage unit. It is good to understand that nearly everything, from pricing to policy's, is ran at a much higher level and the property managers are required to follow those things with consistency. The property manager did a great job articulating everything in the policy emphasizing on the allowed prorating period. I left feeling like nothing was being hidden or that i didn't understand the policy's. When it came time to close down the unit I was not in complete agreement on the pricing so I brought it up to the property manager who reinforced the policy and I was given the district managers number. I left a voice mail on a Sunday night and my call was returned the next day. Josh was very respectful and showed a genuine concern for my peace of mind. He worked with me to create a solution to make everyone feel good while still standing by the policy's. I am very pleased for the true concern for the customer. I am in the military and have used public storage all over the US and have always had a good experience with them. Without policy's and such in place a business cannot operate. There are reasons for all of them and I was very pleased that both the property manager and the district manager were happy to take the time to clearly explain them. read more

The manager Sue, and her staff are amazing! They have gone above and beyond for us!! I have a demanding schedule at work and in everyday life, so timeliness isn't always my strong suit. When I signed up for my unit, I showed up right at close; the gal behind the desk was very easy going and agreed to go through the 15 minute process of paperwork and whatnot, even though she could've told me to come back the next day. When we showed up a couple hours later, with a moving truck to unload (20 minutes before the gates were locking for the night), Sue took pity on us and decided to wait for us to unload completely, instead of making us come back the next day (which we were originally told this time frame was completely inflexible). Little did we know it'd take 2 HOURS to unoad!!! Sue had a great attitude through the whole process. The next morning, she noticed that our lock was busted and not secure. She notified me immediately and put one of her locks on as a courtesy and security measure, although it is not her responsibility to do so. We are SO happy we chose to use this location (even though it wasn't our first choice)! I am certain we wouldn't have received such great service and people who understand that life happens!! I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into this facility! I was having a TERRIBLE day and the last thing I wanted to do was deal with getting a storage unit. Even though the facility was due to close in about 10 minutes, Sue was very pleasant and helpful. She didn't rush me or make me feel uncomfortable at all. I had no idea what size unit I needed, so she asked what I would be storing and from that she suggested to me what size unit I needed. She showed me the unit she has suggested as well as a unit one size up and asked me which one I felt would work best... The unit she recommended was the one I went with. By the time I left the office, I was in a much better mood and feeling less stressed! When I unloaded my things, everything fit PERFECTLY with a little space left for moving around!! MAHALO, SUE!! The only thing I would "change" about this unit is to have some type of air flow or a/c in the bldg so that when customers are in there loading/unloading their units they don't overheat. It gets VERY hot and stuffy inside there. read more

We checked out four other businesses before choosing this Public Storage. It came recommended to us and even while we were there, another customer came in and told us how wonderful the property manager, Sue, is and that she will take good care of us as she does for all her customers. The manager lives on site which is nice. Sue sought out our needs and was able to offer us options which made us happy. The prices were comparable, even better, than some to the other businesses we looked at. Sue is very personable, friendly, and helpful. I can say my experience there was definitely positive.
