After Rats ate up and pissed up all of our belongings they had the nerve to say for the damages we will give you $250 if you give us $100 TF is wrong with these people you ruined thousands of Dollars and Furniture and my Sons belongings and you had some Nerve to ask for a Deductable they can take the $250 insurance and clean out that unit we got what we needed and we will refuse to clean it out nor pay for the damages that was caused by the incompetent owners of this Storage space. Rats totally destroyed my property and the insurance supposedly on covers $250 for Vermin coverage and a $100 deductible. This facility knew of the rodent issue and basically did nothing to protect people's property. There were many units at the Wallisville location leaving furniture etc. because their items were ruined. I wouldn't give this place any stars. read more

I been debating on posting this for a few weeks but here it goes.The trash they let live there is going to make them lose people. I was in office with 2 friends. We needed 3 units we left with nothing. The office was loud and smelled like that funny cigarette stuff. The lady behind counter keep apologizing for them, and never lost her smile. She tried like hell to get us to rent. Except for her it was a horrible experience. We couldn't hear her from all that boom crap from the car and the disrespectful tenants next door. .I say that because I saw him walk in the door next to office. If anyone wants a good customer service find the girl full of art work. She the only one that can possibly help that place. read more

it was the worst experience I've I had to carry my things up the stairs. When y'all told me it would be an elevated provide provided. It took me 30 minutes to find access to get into the storage building and once I did, it was only one door that I can use so I had to travel halfway across, skews me all the way across the storage building to put my things in the lady told me that the storage building was bigger than what it was so I was unable to store all my things when I went up there earlier no one was in the office and it was way before 12 o'clock. I called several times and I still has not received a call back . I am very unsatisfied with my space. read more

Gave 2 stars instead of 1 since one of the ladies put forth effort. Overall, that particular office was cluttered and disordered. I made reservations online for a unit, figuring I lucked up on a good deal. When it was time for me to get the rental at my scheduled time, I was told no units were available. I waited for 40+ mins because other ppl were put before until the kinder lady checked a few units and was able to find an empty one for me. By then, I was frustrated at the fact that so much time was thrown away for practically Nada. Upon getting my info and processing the rental unit, I was told that I had to purchase insurance, so I just left. I've had much better experiences from other storage providers that had their shit together. read more

My name is Laura Sullivan. On April 18th I rented a storage unit from: P.S. Storage located at 14880 Wallisville Road, Houston TX. 77049 On May 2nd I received a call from a woman saying she was the "Manager" of PS Storage they had discovered my unit unlocked.I checked and discovered my lock had been cut off my unit, I followed all of the steps that the insurance policy required; I sent them a copy of the Sheriff's report and filled out all of their forms. I listed everything that I could remember was missing. I received a letter from my Adjustor "Michelle" that they would NOT be accepting my claim. In order for them to accept a claim, there has to be "Physical Damage to the unit" MY LOCK WAS CUT!! All of my things were STOLEN!The "Physical Damage to the unit" is not in their Brochure either. I spoke to the manager, then told her what Michelle at Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc. had told me about not paying the claim if there was no Obvious Physical damage- or Destruction to the Unit. The manager told me that that made no sense, if the lock is cut - there would be NO damage to the unit!! She nor the other employee present both stated that they had never heard of that policy, AND that she knew of several customers that the same thing had occurred to, and Sedgwick Claims Management Services had covered their claims. She told me that I needed to contact the General Manager at the office to straighten it out with her. The following day I called the General Manager of PS Storage here in Houston.She told me not to worry; she would talk to Michelle and straighten it all out. I was so relieved! I received a letter in the mail the following day informing me that PS STORAGE was changing all locks on their units, No more hanging locks, they were changing all locks to the ones that inset in the door. REALLY? After mine was CUT?? OUTCOME Katie called me this morning and told me she had spoken to Michelle (06/20/2014) and it was all straightened out and if I needed her help with anything else, just to call her.Michelle called me soon after that she had spoken to Katie and let me know that in no way would they pay my claim. There had been NO SIGN OF FORCED ENTRY for me be eligible for payment they would have had to damage the door or the unit. I was so mad; I told her "THEY CUT MY LOCK OFF!!" Michelle then told me "Just because your lock is missing, does not mean it was cut off" I have the only 2 keys, The ONLY way they could have opened the unit was to have CUT the lock off!!! I then reminded her that the manager, who had been there when I spoke to the Sheriff, had informed me that many other units had been broken into. Michelle's response was that those units had nothing to do with mine. I am so MAD; I have been FORCED to pay the insurance to protect the Property (PS Storage) from liability in case of Burglary. THEN when I am burglarized, they refuse my claim! This is a Racket!! It should be illegal! I KNOW that I am not the only one this has happened to SO: This is the final Decision.. Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc. is the claims administrator for New Hampshire Insurance Company, the insurer for your storage insurance. Your Certificate of Insurance contains specific policy wording with regards to burglary as highlighted below: Burglary: We will pay up to 100% of the Amount of Insurance for loss by Burglary. The term Burglary means the act of stealing property by forcible entry into the storage space described in the Rental Agreement, and must be evidenced by visible signs of forced entry. However, this coverage only applies when such storage space is securely locked at the time of the forcible entry, and does not apply to lien enforcement procedures by the Owner. A missing lock, or the presence of a lock different than the lock placed by you on the storage space, is not sufficient, standing alone, to establish forcible entry. In the event of a burglary claim, you will bear the burden of proof to establish that a burglary has occurred. Per the above coverage terms, our investigation found that there were no signs of forcible entry into your unit; and as such, we must respectfully deny your claim LMAO What a joke, I was Victimized TWICE!!
