I rented a unit there for years, the first had a roof leak, damaging my records so they let me move to a larger unit at a reduced rate. My last year there, 2025, they jacked the rent up over 150%. She proceeds to create another account and i have to put my card in again and wouldn't you know it dirty rotten scoundrels charged my card after I was advised multiple times it wouldn't be just make sure my belongings were out the the unit by the 1st, my things were out on the 31st. Our family has 3 units in Avondale, Tx (10x10, 10x20, 10,10) and I am a disabled Vet. After 4 months the rate went up 32%, 20% & 57% and at month 13 the rates were up 66%, 31% & 73% respectively. My app to access the will not work to open the gate even after reinstalling it multiple times and the company disabled app access to leave the building forcing customers to get out of the car and manually key in their access codes. The Public Storage contract to get a unit states, rates are month to month and can be adjusted. Their internet price will get you to do the work to move into the unit then jack the price up knowing it is a royal pain to move again. When you call to complain about the rates, they will tell you market conditions will dictate the rate. There are lots of empty units in my building. Maybe we should be buying their stock since squeezing every last cent they can get is THE Public Storage business practice. read more

I really enjoy being ignored when we had an issue at your Keller Haslet Rd property at 530pm yesterday. I called the main number that went to India. After trying to get me to buy a storage unit for two minutes the rep finally said that he emailed you and that the after hours person would call immediately and to just wait. I insisted on the phone number to speak to the after hours person who could help immediately. After saying there was no number five times he gave my the number 8173795800. I called and left three voicemails that got returned the next day at 1040 in the morning. I thought the call would be mildly apologetic at a minimum but instead only got me yelled at. When you return a phone call especially 17 hours after the fact and you are confused don't bring attitude to the call preemptively. I got yelled at 1. For not being the actual person on the account (family member of account holder) 2. cutting your lock to our newly rented, cleaned and empty space. Sorry you gave me no choice when you didn't respond in the hour we all waited. Here's a business slash liability hack. If people are on the property there should be someone to call locally in case of emergency. Not India, not email, not voicemail. Yesterday was exactly that. I'll never rent from you. Use to be a good place. It used to have 5 stars from me. From when I've rented from this place years back. I have to change my review now about this place. I had a unit that went up on me after 3 months. They set it back to the price for 3 months. And then went back up again. And even though my invoice they sent to me was saying that its supposed to be the regular price. They still made me pay the higher invoice. Something is very shaddy about this new staff. I use to know everyone in here before they changed to this new management. Gates are always broken. AC in my suppose to be climate control unit is always broken. Carts are always gone. I Hope they enjoyed that little extra 30 bucks. Because I'll be reporting this company to BBB. After a year later and $3100.00 in I'm out of this place. Do not, do not rent from this company. Their personnel is not trained and make so many mistakes. I have spent hours trying to fix THEIR mistake and they do not care. They quote you a price and then you get the bill and it is so much more. Call customer service (after innumerable tries) and they do not fix anything. They give me the run-around like crazy!!!! I should have stayed with Uhaul-never-ever had any issues with them. I was trying to be in a specific location and it has cost me so much grief to have changed companies. Issue is still not resolved. I have never in my life, been told to leave a premises, this employee, Stacy, is highly volatile towards your customers. I am a business owner, and she would never be working for me or anybody like her. She lies, and she's rude to your current customer, and potential customers. I have not spoken with Giovanni since the first interaction with him a few weeks ago, Stacey told me today that Giovanni said I was not allowed back on property, because of the lies. Stacy told her. I expressed to Stacy every time I walked in there she approached me and I respectfully said I do not want to talk to you. I don't think you're respectful and I just ignored her and talk to the other people in the office for help. She insisted to keep speaking to me and I ignored her, maybe that is why she thinks I was so disrespectful. I was trying not to have any interaction with her because I don't like her, I don't trust her and she abuses her management position there at that property. When I walked in this morning, the other girl couldn't even look at me because she looked like she was afraid for her job. The last time I was in that office was a week ago, and the woman that was in there that would not look at me, helped me and she was so kind. Today she didn't look at me, she wasn't allowed to speak to me. Stacey is a bully, I've seen it 1 million times and this woman is not somebody you want on your front lines. read more

If I could give it a 0 star I would. My account was restricted to where I could not go into my unit only during office hours. In my attempt to move out of this unit, I was told that if I wasn't out by 5pm I would get charge another month's rent. I believe it is unfair to the people who have jobs and are not able to get to their unit until after 5pm and I had to take a partial day from my job to deal with this in which it has not been resolved. This rent here has gone up drastically to $300 plus dollars. The employee would not provide me with the District managers last name or a phone number for contact and I was told that the restricted access was placed by the DM Kayla. I would not rent from this location ever! read more

Let start by saying that the staff at this location is very courteous and professional. My past experience with storage facilities has been the clerk giving me a contract and pointing me in the direction of the unit. At this location, Vickie walked me to the panel to enter codes and took me to the unit to see the actual space. During the walk, she noticed trash on the floor from other tenants and stopped to pick it up. The floors inside the unit where clean and there's no rust on the panels. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!! If I could leave zero stars I would. The people who work here will be so sweet to get you to sign up and then the moment you have an issue they will hold your, stuff hostage. I have had nothing but problems with this place and am on a waiting list to get into another much cheaper and nicer place. I moved all my stuff out of one unit (I had 3) that they were charging a ton of money for (their prices went way up during covid as everyone was getting evicted the demand for storage units went through the roof so they decided to take advantage of our desperate situation), I moved out Dec 1st morning because I didn't have the money to pay for 3 units. They charged me for the whole month. I tried talking to them and all I would get was "it's in your contract." When I asked how they were helping people like myself that were victims of covid, I got the same answer, plus, "we don't do partial months rentals, well you do when someone is moving in. Last night I was out of their building well before 9pm but signed out of the gate at 9:06pm and received a threatening voice message today that this was my one and only warning that if it ever happened again I would only be allowed to access my stuff during office hours. For the amount I spend in rent there I should be able to put a bed in there and live just like so many do. It's infuriating that a company can jack up their prices during a pandemic and treat their customers the way they do. I have had many other issues with them as well that I won't get into. We have used this facility a few times now and the staff have always been helpful and courteous. I did have some troubles with getting checked in online initially but eventually figured it out. The company itself should make their online check in a little more user friendly but other then that, we have been happy with our experience. read more

i appriciate the lady in the office for helping me locate a cart. there is one entrance to the inside units. and i am disabled and my unit is in the far left corner of building. it makes for a long walk. but other than that everything was great the registration online and unit ready when you get there with your lock . very clean facility. i would sure recommend to family and friends read more

I needed 2 spaces one for my brother to store all his property in and 1 for myself to make room in my home since my brother is having to move in with me after his spouse passed away. So I got the move in special for one unit but had to pay full rent for the other. Of course if anyone else off the street had rented that space it would have been on the dollar special. Next even through I had locks with me they required I purchase $19.00 cylinder locks for each space. Then I'm asked how long I'll be staying "forever". Heck no you have been rude, and I don't believe my brother wants to stay with me forever but just needs some time to recover. No logic used on gate codes like you unit number and last 4 of your social so to get inside you have to enter your assigned code each time you need the door to open then enter it each time you go up in the elevator. Even through I stated everything was packed she continued to offer products I didn't need. Rest assured I will stay here as short of time as possible and I will tell everyone of what a poor experience I had. I do understand making a profit but every rule has exceptions my brother couldn't be here today and since this place required an appointment time to move in this made it even harder. 2 persons in the office and your telling me you have to make an appointment to move in. Are you offering a service that I pay for or am I working for you!!!! It was great to rush 54 miles to get there for my rescheduled appointment time. By the way I hope you comprehend people needing your spaces are already stressed how did you help my stress level. The only thing worse than moving is the death of a spouse!!! read more

Amazing price and very sanitary and clean. The only issue I had was there is not enough carts to transport your items. There was only three at our location and they were all being horded and used by other people. So we ended up having to carry my lamps, mattress, box spring, and bed frame all up by hand. read more
