I've been meaning to get into yelp to leave an amazing comment about Meredith & Tara !!!! Let's just say they are two very professional women and I really appreciate everything that they did for me last month. I recently had to leave my residence in brooklyn and move back home to Long Island unfortunately where my parents are staying didn't have much room for all my stuff. I by chance found this place online and was able to pick out everything I needed. (Very convenient) I must say Tara and Meredith made it a breeeze to get through all the paperwork and things that I needed to know about storage and Public Storage policies. Anyways I just want to say thank you to you ladies for everything and the talk about college! You two are really inspirational read more

I've read the other reviews and I can only comment on my move in and dealing with Merideth, which was fantastic. My movers actually beat me there and I called and she let them start unloading, so when I arrived they were almost finished and I simply went to the office and she walked me through everything perfectly. Her customer service was literally fantastic and I would recommend this place to others solely on her actions. read more

Meredith and Melissa are incredible! They welcomed me and helped me get settled in with my unit quickly. They explained everything very well and made me feel at ease by reviewing all of the security features of the property. I highly recommend this storage facility to anyone looking for a site that is safe, secure, and well managed. read more

This place was horrible, lacks customer service, and is infested with mice. I lost a $1000 couch and ottoman because it was covered in mouse droppings. They were aware of a mouse problem over the summer but did not notify tenants to check their property. Neither the property not the district manager have any authority. Not only would they do nothing to compensate for the lost property, but we had to fight them to dispose of the couch and ottoman, which we were clearly not bringing home covered in feces. Their motto "We'll treat your stuff like it's our stuff" is the furthest the from the truth. All they care about is getting their rent money every month. I would absolutely not recommend this facility to anyone. I wouldn't even give them one star on here if I didn't have to. read more

I've been using public storage for years off nd on nd I like the fact tht the first month is only 1 dollar nd I'm always treated nice whenever I use them read more

I will give 2 stars on this review only because the staff is genuinely nice and respectful. However there is a large disconnect when it comes to administrative duties. I recently moved back to NY and reserved a single 10x10 unit and locked in an amazing rate while stil in Michigan. When I arrived at the facility to "move in" the staff on duty was clearly not trained enough to handle the specific tasks we needed handled that day (change of address info, change of ownership etc....) Long story short we needed a 2nd unit. It was available and we proceeded with more paperwork........Meanwhile I have guys waiting with a truck and trailer to unload. Flash forward to a month later, I never received any kind of bill or notice by mail or even email to let me know my account was PAST DUE!!!!! I had been in the office several times since the original move in date and filled out countless copies of paperwork which always had the same info (copy/Paste?) Flash forward even further....... I paid my bill, and yes it was late but as previously noted ws not entirely my fault. Payment was made on a tuesday, I went to the facility on that Saturday with the intent of moving some things out with help from a friend only to find one of the units LOCKED OUT. I then went down to the office only to find whatever staff was supposed to be there put up a sign for out to lunch. So that wasted not only my time but a friend who was there to help. In my frustration I drove to the nearest Public Storage facility which was only a few blocks away. The staff there were friendly, the facility was clean and looked more modern. I asked the staff at the location what to do, they apparently even knew about the staffing/administrative problems at the facility I was with and laughed and we joked for a bit. I went back to my facility a few days later and asked one of the staff what had happened. She said yes the account is paid in full and there should not be a lock out, "we must have forgotten to take the lock off"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!!!!! Also the place looks like a S**t Hole. Hopefully Public Storage Corporate gets involved and either renovates the entire property or sells it and levels this place!!!!!!! read more

I entered my locked unit today only to find that someone had left an empty ensure can inside. Thought that was weird so I immediately looked around and found that my boxes had been rummaged through and a camera and some records were missing. I went to report it to the manager who was no where to be found. There was a note on the door that said they would be back in half an hour. So I ran some errands and came back only to find another note saying they would be be back in another half hour....so I left a message on the office voicemail. When they returned my call a woman named Meredith gave me a lecture about her job description requiring her to do things around the storage site and that's why she wasn't in the office. Furthermore I would have to call the police and file a report before the insurance company would do anything. Look we are not talking millions here but the companies attitude was basically "We don't care" I would not recommend this place to anyone! read more
