this is the worst place to have your items stored. i went to retrieve my items out my storage & they stole all my items especially things they could carry. it was in inside job (someone who works their) stole all my items & left me with scraps & had the nerve to straighten up my storage & box up some items & label them. i felft violated & all that money i gave this company is bananas! im praying they go bankrupt & they can't keep staff because staff is stealing from the patrons... this place needs to be closed down indefinitely!!!!will be contacting corporate because that place is nasty as well!!! read more

I rented a storage unit at twenty eight forty south Westmoreland Road Dallas, Texas, I vacated the premises early in which I've had until February. The first upon moving my items I felt. I was hound to make sure that I was vacating the property on 2 occasions just to learn today that I will not be getting the remaining.for the Storage space unused.I don't have a problem with that but the problem.I do have is the fact that you all hounding me on 2 occasions.I've never gave them any problem.I paid my bill on time. This particular location gates are always open. Anyone can drive through there in any given moment. Do their business even though they have hours set that you're not supposed to be on the premises. The staff was great.I have no issues with the staff.Just annoying person that came checking to see if I had vacated the premises. read more

public storage is hurting. They are losing all their loyal customers. A 10x15 cost $323 a month. Late fee is $64. if more than 7 days late. But yet someone coming in new gets $1 off and same space fire $103 a month. It's robbery and people are getting tired of it in this economy. I've been renting from public storage since the 70s for business. What do i get for it. OVERCHARGED and rudeness. My 10x15 is in a not so good area and no climate control. Go to Advantage storage and get a nice climate control space at under $100 a month for space size and be getting with happy faces. Most public storage don't even have an attendant on the property anymore. So many new storage options now. Go with someone else. Save money, get air control unit and great customer service. Or chooses these orange doors and get ripped off. I'm not sure what happened but since covid these orange doors are not the same. So many others are saying the same. Time to seek a class action law suit. In the last 6 months I have had 3 price increases. The late fee is the dave as renting the same exact space with no air somewhere else with an onsite attendant. Please share and let others know to choose wisely. read more

I have had my storage for quite some time now and Mr. Juan has always been great and understanding. He helps me out with questions I have a hard time with and he is very pleasant, he always gives professional customer service. I have another storage but the people aren't quite as courteous or customer service oriented. Mr. Juan keeps the grounds clean and I never see anyone outside the storage trying to keep the grounds up and tidy which that was very different for me and to me, most companies just hire someone else to do it but Mr. Juan is always out there. Great job Mr. Juan you should be commended. read more

I have been using public storage for all my needs for years and this location ended that today. The unit I was supposedly rented did not exist. We drove around for thirty minutes looking for it. Though the office was supposed to be open for another three hours, nobody was there and it was locked. When I knocked, a fat dude in a wife beater came out of the door next to the office and informed us that he lived on the premises but did not work there. I have been unable to speak to a public storage customer representative and I have been robbed of the money I paid for this imaginary unit. I'm in a very bad situation right now and this has absolutely ruined my chances of retaining my possessions. Do NOT RENT HERE. read more

Where do I begin they literally charged me with out me moving in yet with out asking or letting me know. They have poor service! I wanted a refund cause I didn't tell them they can charge me I wasn't gonna put my shit in there knowing they just take my money like that. And to top it off they had the audacity to mail me a refund check!!! 3 stars just because I haven't been there that long. Facility's are pretty decent for the area. No in unit washer and dryer and the restrooms do not work. Honestly it's a big scam I'm not sure why anyone would want to rent here. Not a safe place to live or raise a family. I will continue to live here but I really wish they would fix the showers. read more

We've been renting space at this Public Storage for three years and could not be happier with the facility, especially because of Juan. He is always there and available to help if we have any questions or need assistance. He's friendly and courteous and you can tell he takes great pride in the property he manages. I've seen him at various times throughout the day, with broom and dustpan, walking the property inside and outside the gate, to pick up trash so the facility looks its best. He picks up trash in the grassy area between the buildings and Westmoreland and even in the middle of the side street, Half Crown, and makes sure that the facility looks clean and tidy. I only needed the unit for a limited time, now that I've advised management of no longer having that need, I was advised I cannot cancel until the unit is empty... well it ain't empty and I ain't paying for unwanted items especially since the prices have exceed what I deemed reasonable. read more

I would not refer my move was the worst EVER!! The AC was not wrking on the 2nd floor nor in the elevator and were currently in 3 digit temps and no AC in elevator nor on your upper level was sent here by the other public storage and this was not it!!!! If I had not already paid and had my stuff on the truck I would hve not put my stuff there. This was the most worst move EVER!!!!! I do not recommend at all.. read more

What an awesome experience under the circumstances!!! The storage place I had cancelled me we were packing the truck. The customer service agent assured and calmed me down. She let me know how easy the process was. Which I was a little skeptical. But the process was all online, convenient, easy and fast. I walked in my storage there was lock and insurance information. I appreciate your team for being efficient, effective and awesome. Even the maintenance crew that was working moved to the side so we didn't have to go around to reach our storage. I will use them again. I feel safe having my stuff there. I've rented from them over a year ago for almost a year. None of my stuff was damaged and all was just the way I had left it. We stored my brothers musical equipment and other house hold goods after he passed for about a year and a half. We emptied it out this weekend. I wanted to comment on the cleanliness of the property. Seriously, we saw Juan in 100 degree heat outside sweeping up tiny bits of trash on the property. Juan was extremely helpful pointing us to the local dump and other things.
