Unfortunately you are not locked in so they can simply raise the rate every six months or so. I'm now paying more than double for my 10x10 unit and I get no extra benefit for that. If it was at the rate of inflation or something I could understand, but no, they sometimes go up by significant amounts. They are not the only company doing this, but after researching online, this is definitely part of Public Storages standard procedure.

I found that the rent increases about every six months, and your kinda trapped until you vacate or move to another storage facility. The units have a rat population, ( I spoke with another renter there on site with same complaint) I have photos if needed of the dead one in my unit on move out day after I spread rat poison out in it. It would seem they do not do any type of extermination other than traps outside buildings. There is vegetation growing up to the backs of the buildings and over them. The units are not sealed off from your neighbors, as the interior walls do not reach the ceiling (a gap of maybe 2 feet) so that makes it easy for rodents to travel the entire length of building. This was my experience, possibly its improved, doubtful! They allow a cleaning service to at least then, rent a parking space on site and on Sundays (the owner) would pull all cleaning equipment and and spray it down spraying water everywhere so forget about bringing any of your items out or in during his cleaning sessions. I am adding this because of the (owners) response below to contact to resolve any issues. Thats funny and a little late !

Place has cameras all around and it is fenced so I think security wont be an issue here. When unloading we had one piece that was heavy and she was willing to help but I insisted it was too much for her so she called someone that came and gave us a hand, strong guy and he left and didn't want to take any money. Good people are still around in this world and Robin and friend are some of them. I have it on autopay so second month is free. We will be tenants for a while.

Poor customer service, unresponsive, and difficult to contact…read more I went online to apply for a unit, entered the requested information, and was stopped halfway through the application process due a technical glitch. I tried to call several times throughout the day, using both numbers listed, and got no response until after the third call (hours later). The response was a text message. We set up a time to discuss more the next day and when I tried to call during that time, both numbers were connected to a phone that was turned off. I sent a follow up message confirming that I still (against my better judgement) would like to continue with the rental. I received no response. I hate extra space storage but I had to eventually call them and get a unit there because of the lack of response from Big Bertha (and generally the vibe that Big Bertha doesnt need my money/are unconcerned with my patronage - which is their prerogative, but is really an unfortunate way to conduct business). TLDR: cool spot and convenient location, but with poor management and poor customer service.

I'm writing this review knowing this is a fairly new business to the area. I went on the last…read moreweekend of July 2023. My mission was to clear out a storage unit & pick up a Uhaul at this location. I went in from NY so i decided to fly in & Uber to the facility. Two negative things happened; my Uhaul reservation wasn't ready and I had the wrong combination code. At this time it was around 1pm and they closed at 5pm so i was running short on time. It was a very busy day for the staff from what i could see so it was hard for them to help me right away. Ultimately we all figured things out as a team and they were able to get me into another Uhaul rental for the same price. A bigger one! They then helped me cut the lock to the unit and had all the equipment available for me to load everything into the truck w no major issues. The manager even took me around the facility on his brand new golf cart which i thought was pretty cool! After i finished up i went to say bye to the team for all their help dealing w. the scenario I was in. They gave me a few water bottles for my long drive to FL and ultimately were happy to see me succeed. I would recommend this facility mainly for the great service & patience they provided me with.

I can't even numbered them so I drove there to cancel it in person. Their hours are stated to be 9 to 6 and no one was there on a Monday. The gate was up both Sunday and Monday l. No one there today, so it makes me even question their security in the first place. This place is a disaster stay away stay far far away stay away far far far away away
