I have rented a space here for several years. My biggest complaint is that they are constantly increasing the rate. The longer that you have a unit here the more you will pay for that unit. For a long time this storage facility was a hot mess. There was zero security measures in place. It's very easy to slip inside the gate if you follow behind another vehicle. Once inside the entry gate the buildings were accessible to anyone without a code at one time and anyone could also get on the elevator to go to any floor. It was extremely unsafe. It took a murder happening on the premises to change all of that. Since the murder, there are security measures in place and codes are required to enter everything now. I am glad that there is finally more safety measures , it is just sad it took a murder for this to happen. read more

Management sucks, they won't reply to calls or emails about an issue with the facility. Wouldn't recommend this place, find something better.. I've been dealing with storage units for the last 6 years and this is the only place i've ever had an issue with.. 0/10 read more

Rented a parking space for 2.5 yrs. I had no issue with the space but the rate increased 3 times while I was there. Each time going up about $10. Not a great business practice to get customers in and then periodically jack the rates up. read more

I found their app very easy to use, both for day to day access as well as reserving a new unit. My overall experience with this company has been a positive experience. They have standard, drive up access storage units as well as climate controlled units in secured buildings. Security seems decent as well. I have two units with them, if that is any indication of my confort level with them. read more

Go anywhere else. Moved in April 2022. Had to go back and forth with corporate and their manager 3x end of May trying to switch units the manager at the facility insisted I'd have to pay admin fee again, she was incorrect. I ended up saying screw it and kept unit. Checked it a month in it was infested with ants. Angel was helpful and sprayed some pesticides in my unit. Had to go out of town that day for months. They raised it from $94 to $120 two months ago! Woot Woot. Going rate for same unit is $54. I get market price etc but you would think they'd want to keep customers. read more

There is a distinct lack of support from the District and Main Office. Over a year ago, a storm hit and destroyed the awning, it remains missing or ragged. A first, bad impression for a new customer. Be aware that the Main Office raises the rent before being in a space for 6 months. Mine went up 21 percent, $18.00 for 5 months, 14 days. Calling to complain got me nowhere. The Office personnel will do what they can within the constraints of the rules to make a customer feel welcomed and make my stay less stressful. They are the reason I moved in. I just left here... Please please... Do not come here if you have to deal with Angel. If you see her run... she is awful... I waited almost an hour standing there for someone to speak to. Called and no answer. Tried to tell angel the issue she cut me off loudly while another customer was in the office and wouldn't let me speak. This lady was extremely nasty, disgustingly disrespectful. I asked for a manager she stated her manager Chelsey doesn't have time for this she doesn't even live in South Carolina she lives in Georgia and she is not calling her boss for me. She will call sometime next week, she don't know... I was calm and kept asking her why is she so angry, loud, and rude I am not looking for confrontation.. just a solution.. She said .. well.. all because I needed to find my unit and the app wasn't working/ stood in line for almost an hour/ called and no answer... this lady needs help badly.... I asked for a refund... this lady shouldn't be anywhere near a customer service job. read more

Moved in to the largest unit they offer - 160 a month. Within 6 months they jacked that up to 205. I visited regularly and talked with the gals any time they were available. I mentioned several times that I was concerned about the pest management program. Asked them to see their records (none were provided). The bait stations are NEVER checked or replaced. I was there for 9 months and checked every visit and it was the same. I complained of mud daubers in my unit (wasps) they said they are not responsible for the interior of the unit. The unit had several cracks in the side where I could see through, and that they said would be their responsibility. These were not fixed. There are mud nests on many of my items as a result of the building not being sealed. My unit backed to some vegetated areas which were not maintained. There should be an egress to prevent harboring of pests. The door did not seal tight at the bottom. My unit was always full of leaves where they blow in from under the door. When I moved out I found an ants nest that was coming from the corner of the building. Ants alllll over my stuff and stinging me. The gate NEVER works. Units are not secure. Took about 3 months for them to get a motor repaired and then a month later it was broken. The second gate does not work either and they have no intentions of fixing it. Management and corporate will tell you what you want to hear, but won't do anything to solve the problems. They will acknowledge your concerns, smile, politely nod and collect their inflated premiums. Sorry this didn't work out, I intended staying here for much longer. It's a pain to move a 12x30 unit in one day; but I chose that over staying here any longer. read more

If you like feeling unsafe, ripped off, and unheard than this is the self storage spot for you. Not only do the staff not care about you or your belongings, they will actively go out of their way to make sure everything on the property is broken and dilapidated. If you like shoving your fingers into a broken automatic door before lugging your heavy items into an elevator death trap than you will love this Public Storage. And please feel free to peruse the garbage left behind by other tenants in every open area. The best part is that you will be paying upwards of three times the amount as other, better self storage units. Enjoy! read more

Patrick was VERY professional, took me on a Tour of the Parking areas ( was looking for a vehicle storage space), showed me all the available choices and once I decided on a space he efficiently completely the paperwork. It was a very smooth process. I would have rated it 5 stars if there were more covered space to get the vehicle out of the sun & away from trees/birds. Cant help but laugh my eyes out at the fact this is 1 star reviews, yet their google is 176 fake reviews giving them 5 stars. They are the definition of snakes in the grass. I had gone in on the 24th of July to rent a storage unit. The closing on my house had been delayed and my lease was ending in 2 days and I needed a place to store essentially my entire apartment fairly quickly. I went in and was told that I was renting the unit for "a month" not 30 days, not 28 days, not 31 days..."a month" well common sense would mean that if it was the 24th of July and I rented it for "a month" that would end on the 24th. Again I was temporarily homeless, dealing with moving out of my apt, and closing on my house, all while still working 50 hours a week. It was a chaotic week to say the least and no I didn't read the contract, I trusted the employee to give me basic correct information. Fast forward a month to the 24th (yesterday) I go to pick up the rest of my stuff (had already moved everything short of a table and motorcycle jack) and move out. I notice my key code wasn't working. Their security sucks so I drove in right behind what I would assume was an employee. Got to my unit to find a lock on an already. Immediately flustered I have to wait until today to get somebody on the phone. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ATTROCIOUS!!!!! I was hung up on by the first lady after I challenged her definition of "a month", the 2nd guy might as well have been a brick and was 0 help. Honestly im not sure how that guy even gets out of bed in the morning. Then 9:30 rolls around and they finally pick up the phone. What a pleasure it was to deal with (sarcasm). They essentially called me a moron and said I didn't know what a month was. I told her that I wasn't going to go back and forth over common sense and that I just wanted this resolved in a easy manner as it should be. They said I owed them $35 for rent $25 for a late fee and some sort of charge for insurance. I wasn't going to pay for that since I was told my move out date was the 24th and I was there trying on the 24th. She was about as rude as can be when she realized I wasn't backing down and she didn't have anything to prove me wrong. So she very begrudgingly agrees for me to come pick up my stuff and I wouldn't be charged anything. I was there within 30 mins to pick up my stuff. The unit was left empty with 0 damage. Well sure enough at 11:38am about an hour after I left I get an email that says that I own $5 less than previously stated......Long story short these people are the definition of scum bags and they will try to hold your unit hostage hoping that you will pay their bogus charges or risk not getting your stuff back. The true definition of slimy scum bags. read more

Rented a large unit here for 3 months then downsized. The first unit was fine but when I moved to the smaller unit, I had to have assistance closing the door. I went back to sort and clean out the small unit the end of August 2016. I had to get Patrick (in the office) to come help me open the door, which he did. I had to prop the door open by using a ladder I had in storage. I had to make 2 trips to my apartment with all of my items and just clean it out completely. When I removed all of my items, the door was stuck in an open position and would not move. I went back to the office and closed out my account and asked Patrick about getting a refund for this particular unit due to it being broken. I normally visit my storage after hours but luckily there was someone working that day to assist me. He told me the name of the regional manager and said he had nothing to do with giving out refunds. I called Seth, the regional manager, and left a detailed voicemail about my experience and asked about a refund. He returned my call and also left a voicemail but with no details at all. When I tried calling him back the phone just rang and rang. I tried again the next day and left another voicemail with details. I have not received another return call from Seth to this date. I am very disappointed. I would not recommend using this location or any Public Storage for that matter. The units are falling apart and are unsafe. read more
