First impression: not bad! Good location close to freeway. Not a lot of "foot traffic" that I noticed; meaning the area didn't feel "sketchy" which is definitely a plus. The Woman working the front desk was surprisingly helpful and had a great sense of humor (qualities rare in customer service). I wish this location allowed for 24 hour access to your storage unit especially considering that this is Arizona and any amount of time spent in an un-airconditioned steel box during the height of day in the middle of Summer seems like it would be hazardous to your health. I got a 5x5 unit which I believe is the smallest. if you're wondering how big that actually is= just think of a single occupant Restroom with a sink (the kind you can lock behind you). And remember that regardless of the square footage the ceiling height is always to code. So not only will you be able to stand up comfortably in any unit, if you're good at playing real life TETRIS you can stack that Mother to the rafters! The price for my unit was fair, although if you purchase online to get a discount just be aware that after the administrative fee and lock fee and state and sales tax, you will be charged at least $30 more than whatever the price they quote you at checkout is. Also be sure to cancel the BS insurance before your first month is up or you'll be charged for it monthly. While it's a good idea to have your things insured, the office doesn't require you to show proof if you were to say: "go with your own insurance provider wink wink.". If you go through your renters insurance or auto policy many times they will even charge less, but either way cancel the third party insurance for a company you know and trust. read more

We really liked this facility. It's only about a mile from our house. We rented a smaller unit and then saw a deal to get a larger unit so we paid another fee ($29.00 or $39.00) and also wound up with our 5th? $25.00 lock from Public Storage. We were willing to overlook all of the hiccups and somewhat limited access hours because we finally had a space big enough to suit our needs and that stayed organized with a "hall" down the middle so we didn't feel cramped. After just 3-4 months we have received notice that they are doing a FIFTY PERCENT (50%) increase on our space. So, we scheduled our move out today. I guess your money is made in charging new account fees and turning over the units, not keeping people in them. Fine by us. We will pare down our crap and stop having storage at all. DO NOT use this company if you have anything valuable or want to work with a business who is actually responsive or sticks to their word. Our father passed from cancer at the end of the summer of 2025 and put all of his valuables in a storage at this location. Unfortunately my sister and I couldn't find where he had placed the keys to the unit and needed items from there so I called the property manager and asked how we could gain access to the unit. We were advised to bring documentation showing we were primary beneficiaries to the site and have a locksmith break the lock for us. Day of Shannon the property manager called me and told me I was given incorrect information and that I had to specifically meet in person with the district manager with a notarized affidavit. I was told I could absolutely not email it; it had to be in person and only with the district manager, and that I would be called to schedule it. Weeks passed and no one reached out to me to schedule regardless of the multiple voicemails I left. After a month had gone by and I left an angry voicemail I finally got a call back from the property manager stating suddenly it was okay for me to send an email copy of my documentation to the district manager and then we could move forward. That was January 19. It's been 2 months now since I've been trying to gain access to my late fathers unit and regardless of the amount of voicemails and emails I've sent I'm being ghosted by both the property manager and the district manager. At this point I want to get my father's items and stop using public storage altogether. It's really disappointing the lack of professionalism or consideration they have for their customers. Losing someone is hard as is, having to beg for access to their valuables is ridiculous. read more

Consistent problems with public storage. Takes my payment from my account 8 times and puts it back 8 times. Ive only authorized for ONE withdraw. Then charges me late fees after I've already payed, and doesn't even acknowledge the previous payment I've already made for the month. Then locks me out of my unit I've already paid for this month twice. Over 300$ No one ever calls back to assist with this issue either. It's ridiculous. Don't bother renting here TERRIBLE. read more

Literally the worst customer service! All of the employees are so rude and the gates into the property are never working. I have had a space for over a year and have never had a problem giving my payment or paying months in advance. I followed all of the directions on the website and reviewed my contract. Seeing as there is nothing written anywhere, THEY DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS OR PRORATE! I paid for my space a month in advance and had everything moved out on the first of the month. Shania was nice, but it didn't make up for the issues at all. They didn't work with you at all on payment if you lost your job, as they continuously raised the rent every couple of months. They didn't prorate when I moved in or when I moved out, you have to pay the full month. They never sent notices for work happening on the property, so when they power washed the outside or redid the paint/parking lot, dirt and water got all over my belongings inside my unit. When I brought it up, I was told "well you can file a claim with insurance ‍". I wouldn't recommend to anyone. read more

Everyone else was promised a $1 first month in December, Im the only one they didn't give it to bc I booked over the phone. The Only reason I booked over the phone is bc NO ONE was there in the office DURING OFFICE HOURS when I had an appointment & wanted a tour. There was another lady there w/ her infant who had a scheduled appointment & no one was there, all doors locked, & no one in the office to answer the phone that I kept calling. This lady only spoke broken English, & I was the one acting like an employee of public storage - answering ALL of her questions about how storage works. I was doing the employee's job who didn't show up to work probably bc he was too high or drunk. I told the agent on the phone (who is in a different state) the situation, he didn't care. I told him I wanted maybe 6 months or more, asking him if the rent would be locked in at the rate he gave me, he said YES. So, come May, these sly shifty MFers apparently sent a POST-CARD saying they were raising my rent by $50 every month. They NEVER sent this by email, only by a POST-CARD & I wasn't checking my physical mail at that time. This company is a bunch of sneaky liars & thieves who cheat you & they don't know how to do their jobs or even show up to work, & they don't care. read more

If its possible to give below 5 stars, this would be 3 below. After being g in the hospital for over 2 weeks, my dad and son went through my accounts and paid or made arrangements with all. Everyone accepted payments and/or payment arrangements EXCEPT Julie or Judy at Public Storage, she was extremely rude to both my dad and son stating "that's not my problem" when they explained I was in the hospital and unable to come in...my dad paid the fee PLUS late payment which came up to $343 for 1 month and when I was released from the hospital I stopped by the unit and was told I couldn't get into my unit until I purchase a new lock, I asked what happened to the lock I had on there for over a year, she sated they cut it off. So my family paid the unit up including late fees and we still cant get in AND I have to purchase a new lock read more

Even tho there are posted hours for office to be open, it is not staffed full time. Apparently only when a new tenant has an appt. $1 rental is just a bait, yes ur rent will be a dollar but then your told you Must get their insurance even tho I told them I had home owners ins. Funny thing is there was a poster on the wall about their ins. and it said nothing about being mandatory. When I pointed this out the man got indignant because he was caught in a lie. He (I presume the mgr.) didn't like me because I was a woman that stood her ground and the feeling of dislike was mutual. Reminded me of some greazy shister scamming for any extra dollars he could get. Ins charge was removed at my insistence. $1 move in special is a scam!!!!! I booked a reservation online for a 10 x 20 unit that I only needed for 1 month. I get to the location and I had an appointment for 11:30 and the manager wasn't even in the office until 11:45 to assist me. I had a confirmation email showing my total move in cost is $23 and when I go to pay for the unit there were all types of hidden fees like insurance, administration fees, and they force you to use their lock. The actual total move in cost came closer to $60. This is extremely bad business in my opinion and I will never give this company $1 of my money. They will book your reservation to bait you in with the $1 promotion to waste your time and bring you into the office and dump a bunch of hidden fees on you. There are better and more affordable options out there!!! read more

She enabled me to get my household moved into the right sized storage locker for the right price and ahead of time. Mel, as she likes to be called, was an immense help in several ways. She was very professional when finding the right locker and getting t me through the rental process very quickly. Yet she explained all the details to my satisfaction so there were no surprises or upsets. Since then if I've had any questions about my bill or needed any help with storage she's been right there. I'm not an expert on renting lockers or packing things into a locker but she definitely is. She helped me several times by advising me on how to put what where in just the right way so when I need to get something out or eventually unpack the locker, it should be a lot easier. Twain the manager was a delight to deal with and has a great professional personality. They explained everything in great detail and helped us choose the right size unit for our belongings. The site was clean and appears pretty secure. The only downside side for us is that the gate is locked at 9pm, which a little early for me but totally get it. Also, the $1 first month rent to draw you in, was more like $55 after insurance and an administration fee that you must pay. Moving forward, the company should correct this by offering the second month for $1 so that all those little hidden fees are already paid. read more
