This review is not for this particular location. I had a great experience with the location itself. The problem I have is with Public storage business practices overall in regard to refunds for for un-used storage space. Customer's are being charged even they move out early! We should get a refund for un-used storage space. Just like any other establishment that cares about their customers. That's taking advantage of people!!!! Their communication is beyond terrible! The in office staff isn't trained properly and they are lazy. The staff that was there when I initially rented the storage was great, but staff has declined tremendously since. They lie, forget important details, hold items hostage and are TERRIBLE! Super fast and easy signing up for a unit. My only complaints are the tricky forceful sales techniques they used on me. I wasn't told I was being charged for a lock or that I had the option to bring my own, I had a lock put in my hand with no explanation and wasn't told cost or anything, when I looked over my receipt I noticed I was charged $20 for a lock! Also you CAN provide your own renters insurance to cover your pod. They presented it to me like "here are your insurance options and we require insurance so go ahead and pick one" I caught that and said I decline because I have my own through a legitimate insurance company. I can not stand tricky sales techniques that make you feel like you have no option or no information is given to you on what you are being charged for. this is a safe and clean site but BE CAREFUL OF TRICKY RANDOM COSTS THAT YOU DON'T NEED TO PAY FOR! read more

I rent a unit, upon entering it for the first time in several weeks, there was a HUGE amount of RAT FECES inside my unit. Also, there was a break-in, I was not notified, when I could not get into my unit, I went to the office & was told that my lock had been cut off during the break-in, & I needed to verify nothing was missing, which it was not. However, they added another lock to my unit after the break-in & told me they could not give me access to my own unit, which rent is on autopay, until I provided a new lock. Excuse me for not wanting to BUY A NEW LOCK BECAUSE THEIR SECURITY MEASURES FAILED & MINE WAS CUT OFF DURING A BREAK-IN. My things will be moved out very soon. read more

Got in at intro rate in 2014, billed on auto pay, reliable customer, they have increased my rate steadily, nearly doubled over 3 yrs, so it is now nearly as much as a climate controlled storage area of the same size. And... they got broken into (mass break in) and while they put a lock on my unit, they won't go and take a pic of my space for me to give me an idea of the losses I've incurred. (I live several thousand miles away, unable to return immediately, no local rep) Not much help to me, and I'm paying nearly $200 a month. read more

Donna at Public Storage was wonderful!! We were in a hurry, and called ahead to ask if she could expedite the process...and she accommodated us tremendously! She had the paper work ready, was very precise in going over all the fees and policies, showing us the unit, asking if WE had any questions or concerns...just very professional, friendly and helpful! read more
