Although they were careful with the items, a few things were damaged. I immediately reported the items along with photos and they immediately responded saying they would send someone to look at/ repair the damages. Im waiting to hear from the people and see how the items are repaired. If they are repaired in an acceptable manner, I will stick with giving 5 stars. If not, I will update this review accordingly.

I called because i was conserned with the tine it was taking. End it wasn't even all of our stuff. My husband and son-in-law had already loaded all of the boxes. All in all it still took them almost 5 hours for something that should've only been no more than three. The television in my daughters room was broken. Came to look at it and went and bought a new one to replace it. And I was good with that. But today I go to sit on our loveseat and I fall backwards because they broke one of the legs and just sat it under there without saying anything. Now i am in so much pain due to falling. I wish i has checked everything before paying them . Consumer beware! They are a family owned business but things like this should kot happen. Now i have to buy a living room set. Not to mention i had to pay the $500 plus a truck I rented for $100 that they didn't want to use. And then there's broke. So $800 for simple move is not acceptable Beware! They are responsible for NOTHING! If it breaks. To bad for you, you have to go to ER because they fail to tell you they broke something, to bad for....just use your judgement If you will allow any Joe Schmoe to move your stuff and not be covered then go ahead and use them. But you could go to the corner and hire some Mexicans and get faster service, and better results...just saying

Sean's staff took extra time with my children and their toys because it was a very hard move for them being young and not understanding the process. We normally do not conduct business with a company unless it has a high rating on Yelp. Across Town Moving had zero reviews on Yelp, however, the company was open when I called. After speaking with Paul, he confirmed that he and his team would be able to assist us. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we had issues with our U-Haul truck and had to push back our time with Paul. Paul was very understanding and arrived on-time and moved the items with care. I needed Paul and his team a few days later and they came through again as promised. I would highly recommend Paul and his team to help with your moving services. Metro storage in Trussville is fantastic. I rented a storage unit for about 5 months, and have also…read morerented a truck. The security is pretty good, and its in a great area. Units are available 24/7 for customers. Also, the employees have always been really helpful. They have even offered to help me carry a few boxes etc. The guys who detail the trucks when they come back are always careful that they are not in my way when accessing my unit. The rental on the truck was pretty cheap, the only negative thing I could say is that the storage units are a bit pricey. For the largest unit, I paid about $150/month. Its really not terrible, I feel like I got what I paid for. However, you could probably find something a bit cheaper outside of Trussville. It all depends on what you are looking for. For me, I will definitely return.

The day of the move he emailed and texted me that there was a problem with the truck he had reserved for my move. I asked about another vehicle but he stated he had 2 out of state on a move and another on a big local move. Trying not to panic I stressed I needed to move that day and he ended up contacting another local mover and was able to get me moved that day. About a week later I needed to move my stuff from storage to my apartment and had Josh and Ryan who were nice enough but really slow.
