This place is horrible. The John Hopkins location. Store Mang has yet to return my call. All my kids things was sold on sept 26, along with things they need and personal things. They HAVE NOTHING. These people don't care. I asked please contacr the buyer, call me etc. Hoover City school need their labtobs, and trophies. I'm having to gwt the authorities involved to try and get the things. My son has been RXTREMELY depressed, and we had to get him therapy because of this. It really sad, to do people tjis way. How would you feel if it was your children, your family member? I went into the Parkway East location to get a storage unit and packing paper, Lisa was absolutely amazing, sweet a she walked me thru what to do to take at vantage of the Labor Day promotion. This is the worst Public Storage location ever! I had my things in there for 1month and only furniture. Went back to get it and rat droppings were everywhere. The ceiling which look like fiberglass had dropped and it was disgusting. It took me 4 hours to move my things out because I had to clean each item and spray I down to make sure I didn't bring anything besides my furniture home with me! Terri is awesome and the only one there that act like they care! I will never use this location again! Just plain NASTY!! read more

B e w a r e! First, Let start with the pricing. When I fist signed up, I Think I Was paying 60-70 bucks a month. They jack up the price eventually and after 3 years I Was paying double that amount a month. Second, It is NOT SECURE!!!! I Found a dead freaking RAT inside my storage. I Found spiders too and not no household spiders, gnarly looking ones so be careful when getting things out of storage. Lastly, Be sure to pay your bill on the first of every month so don't get screwed. If you plan on vacating the storage, Make sure to pay the bill before the 1st of that month because if not you will still have to pay even if you are not using the storage. i.e. Let say Im planning on canceling my storage. Well if you wait after the 1st of the month You STILL have to pay for the whole month even if you are not using it. If you paid on the 1st or days before you would not have to pay. Make sure to ask question before signing anything. read more

This storage unit is the WORST!!!! As soon as you are all moved in they immediately jack the price of your unit. All my furniture & belongings were infested with RATS not little field mice..but RATS!! I had never even seen poop that big ever in my life! Everything covered in rat poop! The day I finally moved out I was crunching on rat poop every step we took!! NASTY!! Rented for 1 year they went up on rent price THREE times!! Several times the gate was broken & not working...so can someone please tell me why I'm paying extra for a non-secure location that's infested with rats! I even witnessed a drug transaction (someone let the guy in the gate sold him whatever & he went back out the gate) and it always smells like weed!! Get it together or at least give me what I would expect to pay for a non-secure, rat infested, weed smelling location!!! 0 stars!! don't rent here read more
