The next day Sam followed up with me and gave me a quote for a water heater install and said he'd be there within 2 hours when I was ready. I told him I needed to discuss with my wife. During this time, I called another local company for a quote and they quoted me about 800$ more for the same exact branded/sized water heater, installation hoses/connection, etc. their warranty was also one year less than AAA was providing. I then called another plumbing company and their quote was even more astronomical than the second company. So I called Sam back after agreeing with my wife that we would proceed with him. He stated he had a new customer in the 1 hour we'd last spoken, but not to worry because he'd still be there same day just later in the afternoon. He provided a time frame and text when he was 30 min out. He arrived and got the water heater swapped out in 2 hours as he said over the phone. I really appreciated the fact that Mario offered several repair options ranging from the least to most expensive. (We took a middle one.) I cannot express in this short review my gratitude to Mario and Henry for the careful, thorough, and quality work they put into addressing and fixing our problem (which actually turned out to be two leaks instead of one). They kept us updated on progress and showed genuine concern for us when the repairs necessary resulted in the need to have the water off overnight. I wasn't surprised the actual rerouting took as long as it did since we have a two-story house with lines running numerous directions for both upstairs bathrooms. Mario was able to enter the wall through our downstairs closet. This eliminated the need for cosmetic patching and/or replacing of drywall (and subsequent painting) in a highly visible area of the house. When finished, however, the same care was taken in replacing the drywall as if it would have been in a highly visible area - even though we let them know that our closet would be refilled with the junk we removed for the repairs, so you probably wouldn't even see the wall. (Yeah, that closet is usually full!) Mario and Henry are honest, hardworking, thorough, pleasant, and all-around stand-up guys - AND they are my family's new heroes!
